I was told that the number of Resurrection Circles/Basic Reclaimator dictate how much of a character's health/endurance is restored. Is this true?
-
what rubbish. the bases arent useless. my sg mates always use the telepads, pillar of ice and fire and workshops. they also use the storage quite frequently.
-
I'd like to have 2. One of my ex-Malta, Gunslinger Nova and my sentai/tokusatsu hero, the Crusading Skull
-
What I like to do is if I'm soloing is I lay down 1 mine, sprinkle caltrops and use Teleport Enemy to zap someone onto it. If the mine doesn't kill them then at least the spikes will slow down the enemy enough for me to use my Cryo Bullets on them.
-
What are your thoughts on the combination? Any tactics to recommend or things to avoid? I'm toying with the concept of making a hero who has costumes based on Longbow, Freedom Corp, Hero Corp and Vanguard Sword with the appropriate color schemes & costume pieces (vanguard obviously).

Quote:Ok it seems I have the attention of a few note worthy individuals. Yes we have all ran into that special someone who gets the team killed. We take a quick look and see "oh? this is an AE baby"? All im trying to get at is that I have SEEN with my own eyes what AE can do to newer players.
I have heard hundreds of complaints thus far from my fellow players who are just plain sick and tired of running into these new AE 50s and getting smashed for it. By the way, it may seem whiney or moany or whatever, but its just not me who watches their team mates get trashed repeatedly do to a new AE pwrlvd 50 or there abouts. So just realize I am not alone in this guys and gals I'm "not" alone.
I wont bother posting any more I have said what I have had to say. Good day.

- The placement setting of Bosses has no bearing on outdoor maps, correct?
- Why are some maps in the selection screen blacked out?
- For maps that have an outdoor/indoor location, wouldn't it make sense to also have a Location setting of "inside/outside?"
- Are public domain heroes permitted? Such as those mentioned here
http://pdsh.wikia.com/wiki/Public_Domain_Super_Heroes
I plan to create missions based on the Golden Age of Comics/Pulp/WW2 and the Cold War/Silver Age
- Why is the usage of names such Nazi, KKK, Hitler etc. not permitted?
- Is there a way to meet up with an Ally w/o having to rescue him as in not having enemies surrounding him?
- Why isn't Reichsman a selectable boss? -
Earlier today, I saw someone switch costumes with the lightning bolt and a bit of dialogue during combat and was intrigued by this.
I've made a 1970s style henshin DP/Devices hero blaster based on Kamen Rider, Ultra Man etc and was wondering how I can emulate it. What is the / command sequence to pull this off?
Thanks in advance! -
....Initial coloring for the Kinetics power and also during visit to Icon
....Selling off old enhancements after respec'ing (both award and Terra Volta respecs)
....Switching costumes by using CC emotes -
I hate it when people uses "Seriously?" or "Really?" in such forms.

Tested out Team Teleport with 2 DP and 2 AR users behind a mob of Nemesis troops... WOW!!!!

Being fond of how the Gunslinger looks and fights, I naturally made my own (Gunslinger - NOVA) with the Dual Pistols power. I've never had so much fun playing like one in PvE and PvP.
Feel free to add details. I know I will as I progress in levels.
Power I selected for my DP/Devices Blaster -
All of DP obviously.
Teleportation - Teleport:
Zap in, let loose with Empty Clips, Bullet Rain or Hail of Bullets and zap out. Build up your Endurance Reduction so you can pop around enemies like a real Gunslinger. I find it to be quite satisfying and tactfully helpful if I zap in after Shield Defenser Tanker/Scrapper runs in with Shield Charge or a Superstrength tank TPs in with a point blank AoE .
Teleportation - Teleport Enemy:
Bring one over, hit em with Suppressive Fire - Cryo and let the ******* have it.
Flight - Hover:
Pop in OVER your enemies, drop a smoke grenade, web grenade on a strong enemy or caltrops, then let loose with EC, BR or HoB
I'm going to try Concealment next. -

# Experience: Players can now handpick the powers for custom enemies and still receive experience for them (within game balance limits)
- What does this mean? We already can pick the powers. Can someone elaborate?
# New Maps: Approximately 20 new unique maps
- Has it been said what are the new 20 maps? Im dying to make a mish with the Tsoo headquarters! -
Quote:Won't play an arc with customs? Why? Simply because of xp? Who cares? You get see the creativity displayed by other CoH fans. You want xp then carry on outside of AE.You get tickets for others rating your arc a 3, 4 or 5. As you can't get rate your own arc, I don't see how you could get tickets for playing your arc. Well, other than the normal I beat up somebody tickets.
I don't AE much anymore, but personally I won't play an arc that has custom's. I can geat a good story with dev NPC's, so I don't intend to give up on XP. -
Warburg was a pleasant surprise. There we were trying to find the last enemy for 20 min. until someone clicked a door for the helluva.
thinking there was only 1 enemy left imagine my surprised when the AV i made popped up with 3 patrols and slaughtered us. -

I was running a test mish in which my players had accepted a bounty to bring in Countess Crey, dead or alive. For the final map, I selected President Marchand's office. With the Crey tanks, rival Illuminati bounty hunters, some custom bodyguards it was an incredibly epic battle. They LOVED fighting Crey and the baddies on the roof of the skyscraper.
Which brings me to the question are there any more "interactive" maps like this and the Malta Warburg base in that people can go in & out of buildings? -
I made a boss named Illuminati - Ghost with only 3 pistol powers & Summon Enforcer from the MM Thugs power set and full Ninjuitsu. I've gotten comments from ppl. saying that they REALLY like how he "decloaks" and shoots them point blank and then disappear to run off again, leading them on a wild goose chase. Sometimes tossing caltops, web grenades or blinding them.
