I kind of like that, actually. -
So which one is this now? 5?
I've honestly lost count...
Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that Milla Jovovich found her niche. It's just, sorry to say, I stopped paying attention to these at around RE: Afterlife. -
In all honestly, I just want The Hard Way so that pesky progress bar goes away. I really couldn't careless about this -current- 'dev' challenge badge.
At any rate, I'm afraid I won't be around this weekend to help out. I'm gonna be busy with a move.
Good luck to those who attempt Really Hard Way. -

When Raze ran a few Magis last week I ended up getting Ready to Rumble and Shadow Master, so I don't need those two. However we missed Triple Threat by a few seconds because Chimera regenerated 3% at the last second...
In other words, I would want to bring Patriot America for the Triple Threat Magi run, but would be perfectly willing to bring Chronocraft (my Radiation/Sonic) on the other Magi runs. -
Quote:While the possibilities may be endless, the devs resources are not. It took a while for us to actually get a new rig (4 legged animals). I won't presume to know the process of designing new rigs, or make assumptions as to what the devs have planned for the future but I will say this:Ok, I've done a few missions of it so far and it seems to be pretty good, except for one thing... I notice a lack of dinosaurs. Strangely absent from this game are our Jurassic friends. I had a friend complain earlier tonight about "all this Cthulhuesque crap lately". Now, as I said, I like the Nightward stuff, but maybe he has a point. Each issue we get seems to be a continuation of the last, and that's ok with me. But other people like a change of scenary occasionally, and I think a great change would be dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are always fun to fight and we have multiple instances in comics where heroes fight dinosaurs, by going back in time or going to lands that time forgot. Large teams can get together and defeat that tyranosaurus rex who was quite happily stomping on sloths. Or for zone events you might have to stop that wave of raptors or maybe redirect a brontosaurus from running into the local buildings. The possibilities are endless!
Want another new rig? Buy more stuff from the Paragon Market.

Quote:Well that's even worse then, isn't it?So according to this Iron Patriot may not be in Iron Man 3. Speculation states that it is actually the War Machine armor with a very patriotic color scheme.
-
The character name and title change just screams, "We couldn't secure the actual rights to -Green Arrow-, so we shortened it to make it sound more edgy." This is the 'Red and Blue blur' all over again.
Pass. -

Quote:Ouch. Well, I'll do my part to get the word out then, in the meantime. We'd likely have something fixed before a GMOTD could be put up (GMOTD's take around 30-45 minutes each to get published to live. We QA each one of them.
Edit: You weren't kidding about it getting fixed before word could get to the masses, lol. -

I saw this and thought to myself, "Oh man, a lot of people are going to fall victim to this..."
The Freebie Friday 'trial' program may have just stepped in it. What a nightmare this will be for customer support. -
You know there's something amiss when all the employee's of Paragon Studios don't have machines capable of laughing in the face of Ultra Mode.

Quote:This was my experience as well during beta. On a 16 man league Black Swan was a major roadblock, but once we were able to make it past her Tyrant fell quite quickly.(assuming the league can get past black swan - she was tough with just 16 - tougher than I thought she should be. )
This, of course, was before they made the last minute changes to his encounter. Still, it sounds as though on a 16 man league Black Swan is harder to bring down than Tyrant. There is something incredibly bad with that design... -
Currently, I own the 5 Avengers related movies on DVD.
Although the 'boxset' is cool, I have no intention of buying it. Mainly because they will release the 'ultimate' Avengers collection in 2-3 years when the next set of Avengers films come out and this 10 disc box set will seem 'outdated'. Secondly, the BluRay gimmick is just another one of the bandwagons I refuse to hop on, sort of like 3D.
I will, however, add Avengers (on DVD) to my collection when it comes out, followed by Iron Man 3 and so on. -
Quote:Right.. see this is why I should just stay away from the forums when I am sick. My brain doesn't work properly...Except that the buff is applied for taking out a light of the well and the really hard way requires that you not take out any lights. So you will always be just +3 when attempting that badge.
Regardless, at least the regular runs won't feel like throwing jell-o against the wall. -
Well that certainly sounds like if we can get The really hard way now that it is going to be made a million times easier in a future patch just from the shear amount of players and pets who aren't actually receiving the level shift buffs from the Light Well defeats.
This would explain why my monitoring my level shifts never displayed anything but 3. -

I'm still hoping to actually get this done on Patriot at some point. Unfortunately at the moment it seems all people want to do is farm the 250+ and reset. Hell I've even suggested tackling the first 3 AVs just to mix it up and break the monotony.
Sadly, the devs were warned this would happen, so really it's their own fault. Still it's kind of pathetic that it's nearly impossible to find someone actually wanting to complete the Magisterium.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to learn there are a few people out there who actually think the first phase of the Magisterium is the entirety of the iTrial. -

At first, I thought maybe my PC was getting too hot. It turns out everyone else in-game so the same thing as I did.
Definitely appears that the butt cape was put on backwards...
You have to wonder, just how does this sort of bug crop up? -
Quote:This one seems a tad bit too coherent and lucid to be on 'drugs'... Not a 'zombie' either, just another individual who demonstrates just how screwed up our society is.

They tried, and failed. I'm happy to say my Statesman login screen is most certainly safe!
Also, I can understand the hate for Emmert... but the hate towards Statesman just seems like the 'popular' thing. *shrug*
To each their own. -
It took me a good while to earn the Master of Statesman's Task Force badge... and now come tomorrow afternoon the badge will be renamed...
Kind of petty, but oh well. At least I am able to remain Statesman's Pal.
I will remember who it was that put out the call to stop Lord Recluse that day.
I will remember who's Task Force it was that I mastered.
I will remember him even after he's long been cast aside.
Rest easy, Marcus. -
A couple things.
First, it looks like they're bastardizing two more characters from the comics into one. That was the one thing I hated about Iron Man 2. Granted, I can understand why they would 'have' to in this instance, legal reasons and all... but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
Second, you have to wonder just how many 'guys in imitation Iron Man suits' will they be able to throw at Tony Stark (...rhetorical question, I know there is at least half a dozen...) and how soon before that formula gets stale and backfires causing it to have an impact on future Avengers projects?
Don't get me wrong, I love the look and concept of the Iron Patriot, I'd just rather not see him wasted as a background character. Norman Osborn was the man, Eric Savin... not so much...
However, none of this will stop me from seeing Iron Man 3 when it is released.
