I thought the phone booths provided the same information... but then again are they still around?

IMO the larger part of the problem is not seeing the sequestered message in the first place....that shows up in it's pale white color mixed in with all the other on screen action.
I would hoped that they would have changed the color of it by now to stand out better. -
There are lots of characters in game with the ability to solo big groups... There are many guides available to help you design a Build for almost every power combination in the game... Local Man has two good guides in his sig that can solo GM's, and so on...
My only suggestion would be stay away from AE farms if you really want to learn to play the game, They are great for many things but learning the in's and out's of CoX is not really their forte'
As you develop your Alt'idus you'll find that there are character types that meet your play style and there are some that won't so don't pay attention to post that may say "this is gimp or That is gimp" play what's fun for you. -

I don't know what PB's you've been watching but mine (and that's all I can speak of) is a Tier4 Alpha and Tier3 Everything else and I have died Once in a outside of the Rings of Death (can't remember their name) in a BAF and that was because I was solo'ing the reinforcement spawn point. However, I have pulled enough Rare and Very Rare components to get me to that point with only spending 100mil. Now I wouldn't gotten to that point if I was a bystander watching that action or licking the concert. Achievement: Duo'ed Adamaster with a PeaceBringer and a Brute
DisAchievement: Was only able to Solo Adamaster with T3 Lore pets to 50% Health until the Brute jumped in to save my Ar$e after my pets dropped. -

Peacebringers and warshades don't exist in a vacuum, either. They exist in a game with 12 other ATs. And those other ATs largely perform even better, with less effort and fewer to no wonky powers involved. Often while making a higher team contribution through superior buff/debuff and control.
Dwarfs can too tank! I've been able to (just within the last month or so) tank Entire 4/8 ITF... Adamaster, Jack of Irons, Pumpkin Head and Baddage (on a 2 man Team) and even herd to an extent... But Guides are your friend... TimeShadow, Dechs Kaison and AlienOne all have great Guides to help you develop you Kheldian.
I've seen them, I've read them, and I don't personally follow them...... because I develop every character I create on how I feel they play the game, and I enjoy them greatly. My only suggestion would be Have Fun and they will amaze you with what they can do. -
Just a lil FYI... but with the right IO slotting in Taunt... it becomes a weapon with a 20% chance to do Psy Damage... There is something to say about seeing someone fall from Taunt Damage.

I know everyone has their Opinion, numbers speak for themselves and all that but... D@mn... Dont be so rough! I feel like I just read a thread of sandpaper people make it sound like players would be better off rolling natural humans with no powers and fighting with only power pool options.
I'm rather glad that I'm secure enough to know that my PB brings Versatility, Survivability, and overall Success to EVERY team he's on. If not, well I might actually feel as if I'm wasting my time even rolling him off the blocks. I know they dont have that God mode like feel about them, that others have, but I do know if the tank falls I know he can pick up where they fell off and keep on rolling. He might not have the DPS of a premo Blaster but no one will say that he was a wasted pick up to the team but he has turned the tides of a fight on many occasions.
Every character in the game has its usefulness and a PBs roll is a bit more then filling in the holes But When and If the Devs give them a lil needed attention, then hopefully views will change . -

I'm more offended that there are some many Co-Op Funeral locations that I'm having a hard time finding that one on Google Maps. -
This happend to have a BAF team - got dumped into the Alpha Slot mission with the Ghost-AV's, so the teams swept through them in about 5 seconds... and we exited the map at least he was a 50 so he wasn't bothered too much.
