I think Dillo's the best alien treat of all. Let us all make air sounds in happy celebration!

The Rikti's war with the Battalion was approximately 100 years ago and after that was over the Lineage of War returned to a small size with a largely ceremonial function. It isn't clear if the Battalion they fought was the same as the Battalion that represents the Coming Storm or if it was a different version of the Battalion native to their own universe. Dillo's people (aliens from our own dimension) also fought the Battalion and lost a number of planets to them (but not all according to his in-game dialogue.)

Another interesting thing is that the main setting for the game is called Primal Earth. I don't believe it's stated anywhere if our dimension really is significant enough to be called Primal or if it's just called that because of 'our' own hubris.

There are also the worlds where time has been accelerated by Anti-Matter and Neuron. Though the citizens there are 'crazy' and attack you without provocation it's only because they've been driven mad by the Praetorians. Presumably before the accelerators were set up and after they've been destroyed it's really just a dimension of ordinary people.

I'm pretty sure that after over 136 years the character in question is not only dead but thoroughly decomposed. The police would never be able to prove anything.

Quote:There was a period during which names were being 'released' to a degree. But it took more than just an inactive account for the name to be made available. Characters above a certain level wouldn't have their names released at all. This was also only in effect during a period of (I believe) a year. After that point the devs determined through datamining that the number of 'taken' names being claimed was very low and discontinued the program. To my knowledge, though someone may need to correct me on this, character names get 'released' if the character is inactive for long enough (year or so, I think) so someone else can use the name. I'm curious about chat handles, though, as I lost my handle when the server lists were merged and, so far as I can tell, I lost it to an inactive account. I've tried contacting whoever currently is '@BW' a couple times without ever getting a response, whichi s why I'm assuming the account in inactive.
Also, it should be noted that with the new payment model no account is ever really inactive, it just becomes (or stays) a premium account or continues on as a free account. -

/em considers bidding on MP and then requiring her to do things you shouldn't do on taskforces and trials. Click the glowies in BAF and Apex. Stand in the green stuff and the blue stuff. Fight through the mobs in the Treespec instead of one person stealthing to the end and teleporting. Use /follow on the tank, put Radiant Aura on auto, and use no other powers while periodically telling people "I'm just here as a healer." She'd go insane in no time flat, MUHAHAHA.

I'll probably go ahead and buy it, but I should really be working on leveling existing characters instead of rolling new ones. My 50's are all t4'ed on incarnate stuff so I need to get another character up to 50 soon.

I assume that Shield Defense can not be taken with Titan Weapons, but are there any other sets incompatible with TW (such as Claws and Stone Armor)?

The feline patrons are emissaries from Cat Earth. They are here to discuss a trade agreement with Primal Earth. Mice on Cat Earth are extinct due to overhunting and they are hoping to acquire a large breeding population of them to take home so that the citizen's of Catopolis can once again enjoy their favorite snack food.

So now that you know 10 can do it, you'll have to try it with 9. And if that works go for 8 and on down until it just doesn't work.

Radiation Emission - It's super flexible with a heal, an awesome buff, great debuffs, a rez, and even some control with only one really poor power (fallout.) It's also strongly front loaded with the best powers coming nice and early.
PS Can I haz radiation emission as a mastermind secondary? -
The CoH community would almost certainly refer to a butcher's apron as a frontcape.

The 'resistance' isn't and has never been a single united group. DeVore led the CoL, but even that group is shown to have splintered in the First Ward missions. Calvin Scott is the 'official' face of the resistance but doesn't seem to have much real control over his subordinates (would he really condone Wardog's plan to murder the entire population of Nova Praetoria just to make a point?). Mr. Yin, though he doesn't wear a resistance nametag, has probably been it's smartest leader by quietly trying to form the syndicate into a real force of opposition. But he's got plenty of other syndicate bosses who really just want to get back to shady business dealing. Penelope Yin may be a powerful psychic who's not really as insane as she seems (her dialog can be understood quite well once you figure out her code), but she is still a prisoner.
Primal Incarnates have accomplished more to damage the Cole regime in three battles (BAF, Lambda, and Keyes; I don't include UG since that was a bungled rescue attempt combined with gathering some information that is yet to be spread to the general population) than the homegrown resistance ever managed. -

Quote:To clarify, I wasn't recommending that anyone pass on reactive just because of the stacking issues. Just pointing out that there are some circumstances where it would be advantageous to have something less common.Agree about stacking issues. Though really you're only going to run into the stack cap issues when fighting an AV in leagues at which point I would say, I'll take the hit to my reactive's effectiveness when fighting AVs in leagues to have a better interface in pretty much every other situation. Everything else dies too fast for it to matter.
PS On the DPS of the Lore pets, what are the resistances of the Rikti Pylons? That could heavily skew the test results.
