I wouldn't beat him up at the top of a skyscraper and let his body fade away.

I'd beat him up, pick up his unconscious body, and HURL HIM BODILY OFF THE TOP OF THE SKYSCRAPPER AND WATCH HIM SPLATTER ON THE STREET BELOW! Then I'd screenshot the image and sell it to Transmuter.

When Reese shows up to give me a send off in the Portal Room on my way to Paragon City to become a Primal ... I wouldn't buy the line of crap that he's somehow "reformed" himself into being a nice person standing up for the little guy in Praetoria. I'd punch his lights out, kick him bodily off the barge, and make sure he was floating face down in the water for 10 minutes (while everyone else present cheers his demise, again...) before moving on to talk to the next NPC sending me off.
I get the feeling that you don't like Reese very much.

Remember, an attack on an Arbiter is considered an attack on Arachnos itself which will lead to the player being tracked down and utterly destroyed! Of course, some of my heroes have beaten up LOTS of arbiters and Arachnos ain't done squat about it. Pansies.
  3. If he really ends up dead dead instead of comic book dead (Like Johnny Storm whose body wasn't even cold by the time his return was announced) we can just grab ourselves a Marcus Cole from some other dimension. There's millions of him out there.

But my money is on him not being dead dead and the real person who dies permanently will do so as part of the effort to bring States back. Currently Manticore seems the most likely to end up that way since he's got some redeeming to do after the last couple WWD arcs.
  4. For villains:

As soon as I realized where Willy Wheeler's missions were going I'd drop kick him off the ledge he's standing near.

I would kill Synapse in WWD Part 1 instead of letting him just lay there powerless. Then I could keep his crappy powers.

For a number of the the villain contacts I'd probably say something like "Go do your own dirty leg work you arrogant <expletive>." And possibly beat them senseless afterward.

My female characters would teach Dean McArthur that no means no.

    For heroes:

I'd let Manticore assassinate Malaise in WWD4. I may be a hero buy that guy had it coming.

I'd arrange to fight Maelstrom in a location with teleport dampeners so that after he goes on and on about what a badass he is he won't be able to just zap himself out of trouble.

I'd nuke the hive from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
  5. Moving on to First Ward, the day will start cool and hazy but the sun should be out in the afternoon to warm things up. And, as usual, there is a 100% chance for pure evil coming from the sky.

    Infernal is from another dimension.
Malaise (who's been a hero at some points) is apparently French.
  7. The UN is nothing more than a debating society. It may pass resolutions but it has ZERO power to enforce them. And it isn't just the US that tends to ignore it. Think Bosnia and Rwanda for examples where the UN literally had troops on the ground yet did absolutely nothing to stop genocidal warfare.

PS I wouldn't say Recluse has his fingers in everything. He's really only had two major plans for seizing big time power: The Web which gets thwarted in the Statesman TF and Project Destiny which is abandoned long before it's final stages when player villains demonstrate that it's not such a good idea after all. Compare him to Nemesis who's probably got hundreds of plans going at any one time. Or the Center who's playing his cards so close to the chest that we still don't know what it is he really wants. He even says (in a hero alignment mission) that heroes should appreciate the effort he goes to to keep Requiem and the other Nictus constrained.

Well, technically plenty of Praetorian loyalist players have popped into Paragon since going rogue. Maybe it was them.

Just look for the 'Made in America' logo stamped on his chassis. Same with Luminary.

PS I you're not a dev, then you don't really know who's going to die. My personal bet is still on BaB's (and it's not because I don't like him, cause I do), but any of the surviving eight are a possibility. Though technically two of that group (Numina and Citadel) aren't exactly alive now.

PPS Sky Dragon will take the place of the dear departed one in all content that requires a replacement. Turns out one of his power giving artifacts is a direct link to the well and he just didn't realize it's potential before.

That particular bit has always bugged me. Maybe the the bus stops are just there to distract mayhem causing villians from more important targets. Like cardboard boxes.

I agree that Wade probably isn't the real brains behind this operation. He may be a nasty sort who wants to bring Rularuu back into the real world (he explicity states this in his orignal red side arc) but he still doesn't come across as the kind of guy who's really a big time player. The blue side contact for part 4 says he wouldv'e been less surprised to find out that some random freakshow was behind it than Wade, who he's never even heard of.
  13. It's also stackable from multiple users, making it possible to stack up to HUGE bonuses if it affected the whole league.
  14. The biggest problem with vengeance in an itrial is that most people immediately go to the hospital (as they generally should) without giving you more than a split second to use it.
  15. And just think how many Endurance Reduction enhancements you'd need in a build with shield and TW.....

  18. How about a seperate path for crab spiders that lets them use 2 shields and 4 weapons?
  19. There's only way way to settle this: Strunk and White vs. The Internet in a cage battle to the death.
  20. Here's another video of staff fighting featuring Marcus Cole himself.

No, it's still expanding. Latest studies show that not only is it expanding, but the rate of expansion is actually accelerating. Some linguists have suggested a hypothetical force called 'Dark Etymology' to account for this phenomenon.
