  1. my wormhole is slotted 2 acc/3 recharge/1 duration because I top it up with thunderclap and the base duration is pretty high anyway.
  2. wrote a long post, managed to delete it by mistake, cant be bothered to re-write it :P

    crush is still good in the late game though... it immobilises an EB/AV in one hit and does great damage

    also, the knockback on hurricane has been reduced and is nto as reliable any more... it seems to happen rarely in pve at least... I recommend slottign 2 end red/3 to hit debuff
  3. grav/storm works really well together but I'd clas it as an advanced powerset combination. You have to be really careful with aggro but played well, you are the master of positioning enemies exactly where you want them to be

    required powers for this are hurricane, gale, wormhole, and the aoe immobilise power crushing field.
  4. yes, gravity's group hold prevents knockback, but the gravity aoe immobilise does not, also, the grav aoe immobilise does not stop them from falling over on ice slicks/freezing rain.

  7. the power description doesnt cut it.

    Do I usmmon the tornado where I like or does it come out of me like a cone attack?

    Is it stupid? does it aggro other mobs? does it seem to aggro to only one baddie until it is dead?

    does it do knockback or knockup?

    Is the damage any good?

    Is the fear component the same as with rain powers or is it the "hold" style fear?

    Is the disorient reliable? Does it happen much?

  9. well, me and my scrapper mate ULTRAFACE (fear the face) just about managed to get babbage to 2 thirds but we were running out of insps and then demons bane and white magic from the 1AT coalition turned up and he died very rapidly.

    god I love tfs, so much more fun than regular missions, especially solo or duo

    sister psyche next... tomorrow I think as long as I can get to 20 in time. another duo tf (might make it a trio if wammy is online - he can be trusted )

    I don't need to, everyone knows my ability to press buttons while fighting an utterly retarded AI is second to none.
  11. for the record, I love bitter freeze ray and I use it a lot, even during combat when other powers are recharging.

    it does pretty good damage for a hold too.

    I have to say the aoe immobilise + freezing rain is awesome
  16. I started on defiant but then my mate started playing and made his first toon on union so I rolled mr cuddles on union and have been playing there ever since.

    I recently wanted to try a blaster again so thought rather than go through the low level content again I'd go back to catalyst, my level 32 elec/elec blaster.

    Is there a supergroupd coalition equivalent to the 1AT coalition on union I can join?
  17. steamy mist is a toggle and your team have to be fairly near to you to get the stealth. The distance is pretty good though and is about twice as far as the graphic would suggest.

    invis is a higher level of stealth, but requires constant re-application to keep people invisible.
  18. you dont need to explain yourself at all. You posted asking for help to start a TF and some people jumped down your throat. That's their problem, not yours. Don't worry about it and have fun whilst doing the tfs!

    Me and my mate are duoing all the tfs in the game as a controller/scrapper - just finished posi and we intend to only use arcs/hunting to level up enough to get to the level range for the next TF.

    tf's are much more fun than doing random missions and also more challenging in my opinion.

    what you should do is give us some idea of how you like to play - do you mostly enjoy dealing damage? do you like protecting your team by taking the hits for them? do you like to be in the thick of a battle in melee range? Do you like a more tactical style of play?

    Then I can give you my best opinion on what class/powersets you would like.
  20. you can definitely tell the difference when you team with 3 or more tankers/defenders in the amount of damage you do - it's got to be at least an extra third damage.

    the res from scrappers, blasters is less noticeable though. (reverse this for warshades obviously)

    However, I agree... a visual indicator would be great.
  21. I'd say it's worth the three useful power slots to get stamina to avoid being confined to the forms for endurance recovery.
  22. whenever I get held I frantically mash the dwarf button on my mouse, then run out of dwarf attacks so switch back to human form and forget that holds are stacked on me in dwarf form so get instantly held again.

  24. There's a few I've worked out so far:

    build up then switch to nova for the two aoes, then just enough time for a solar flare in human form to finish

    using quantum flight to take the alpha from a huge mob before the tank moves in and takes aggro back from you so you can un phase

    Post your little tricks that are only possible with a kheldian
