Jake: "Wait... don't we still have a fight to finish in that Waltz thread?" *leans over and pokes thread* "Is it even still alive?"

"Hey there." A cocky looking teenager said, hovering about ten feet ahead and ten feet above Penny Arcade with a wry smile on his face, protected by a green sphere of... well, green. "I'm Jake, and I'm gonna have to politely ask you to hand over that encryption key you have there. You see, Arachnos needs it, not to mention..." He said, scattering several small devices on the ground, all of which teleported nearly identical looking bots to the field. "... you seem to have stolen my designs and made a few modifications. While I am flattered..." He continued, his bots all lifting their guns and charging their lethal lasers. "I'm afraid I can't have someone walking around with one of my design secrets. So, hand over the key, the bots, and the good doctor, and we'll be hunky dorey." He smiled at the end of this last sentence and hovered a bit downward. His shield that he had on seemed to be deflecting all of the fire that was coming his way.

Jake: "You!" *points finger menacingly at Blind*

*unpacks Project Judgment* You know, Diov gave me permission to use this. *powers up cannon and takes aim at Fang* -
(Aren't we all?)
"Well well, that's not good for me at all, is it?" Jake said as the bots got emcompassed in darkness, forcefield and all. Sighing, Jake checked his watch, thinking that the backup from Arachnos should have already arrived.
Isn't irony a grand thing?
At that moment, several dozen Tarantula Mistresses and Crab Spiders stormed into the building, focusing their attention on all targets Jake deemed hostile. The flier on which they had rode over on, flew back toward the nearest base of operations of Arachnos to pick up a second assault. Arachnos would continue to pump forces into this building until the battle was won.
But as for the present situation with Jake...
The Grave Knights, despite their pinpoint precision, missed their target entirely, their thrust being shoved aside by some outer force. The forcefield around the bots, while being penetrated, had adjusted the course of the blade. The bots quickly hopped back and fired their lasers at the Knights, hitting them straight in the eye... er, or the place where their eye should've been... The robots never missed, even with the shield refracting their concentrated beam of light. They accounted for the refraction of their beams and adjusted their shot accordingly.
As for the trapped Protector and Assault bots; Jake couldn't have that, now could he? Using what little knowledge he had of the arcane, he discerned that the darkness was made up of negative energy, and how do you get rid of a negative?
You dispell it with a positive.
So with that, Jake ordered his bots to unleash a pulse of positively charged particles every second until the darkness surrounding them was gone. This was easily done, especially considering that that was the primary concept that his shields were based off of.
(I'm taking the negative energy at face value and saying that it's negatively charged. If it's not, well, I guess Jake's screwed... >.> -

So long as we're listing...
Running Bear - Infinity - Level 50 Blaster - Has a personal grievance against Crey.
Corrupted Youth (My RP character Jake, naturally that name was taken) - Level 12 Mastermind - Pretty much hates all heroes that contribute to the present day society, thereby preventing the utopia Recluse has set up. (All Paragon heroes essentially...) -
Curses, foiled by logic again! *dissapears*
So yeah, going back to the OP, should we have a scheduled event at Pocket D or a PvP zone at timed intervals? (ie, every Wednesday, every fourth Saturday, etc.)
After getting Bear to fifty my altaholism has been unbearable. This might be what I need to focus on one character again. (Keeping up with the rest of you guys.) -
If only I hadn't rolled on Infinity... Nothing seems to happen on Infinity...
-
That sexism! ... wait, no it isn't... Hmm... racism doesn't work either... Um... serverism?

Exactly what I needed Peter. Kudos!

Could always use Bloody Bay. I swear if I've ever seen anyone there it's just because of the shivans.

Virtue server is considered to be "The Roleplayer" server.
Welcome back!!

I'd find that to be rather enjoyable, and maybe a little smoother way of getting into PvP. I'm not much of a PvPer at this stage, though I have been learning to win the occasional fight. Do you have a server in mind, and will it be starting with fresh characters?

QFT, sounds interesting. The only villain of mine that I can think of that'd be interested is my mastermind, of course he's lvl 12, so new characters may be in order just to make sure we're all in the same level range. -
Can I have a peppermint?

Anything that's half cat is gonna be cute...

Uh... not that I'm like that... *looks over shoulder in nervous manner* -
Nice work. I can already tell you that the disembodied voice is my favorite.

Jake sighed. "What don't people get about my shield deflecting all forms of energy?" He said as the attack glanced off his shield. "Albeit someone may overwhelm the shield, but that someone's not going to be an underwhelming zombie such as yourself." He finished, grinning. The bots being made of, of course, metal, simply took the hits, it only generating a few sparks and a small knick in the armor. Now within melee range, all his battle drones slammed their weighted arm into the faces of the Grave Knights while his Protector Bots and Assault Bot charged up for a second fire.
-
"Excellent work." Jake said, giving one of his rare complements. He had flown back up to the platform at this point and began to open fire upon the necromancer. The bots used the same tactic of burst damage and each charged up their lasers for a devastating blow. "You should have sided with me..." Jake said coldly as his bots opened fire on the necromancer.
-
Jake smiled at the display of cruelty and spun back around in his chair, now facing the bar again. "Yes, I think the skull guy was there too. Shame he didn't decide to team with us. The battle would have gone much smoother." He commented on, getting his root beer and taking a small sip.
-
Jake quickly spun around in his chair and fired a force bolt from his gloves at the stoned (tee-hee) nuisance. "Please." He said as the man tumbled backwards and into a wall. "Can we have some peace? I was just starting to have an interesting conversation." He had kept leaning back in his chair, relaxing and smirking as the man began to fume at the constant assault of powers coming from the other patrons.
-
"What would that be?" He asked, gliding down and inspecting the device, all the while Harry still keeping his hands full with the bots. <A grenade? Looks to be a pretty potent one too...> "We'd be best to play this safe..." He said, putting the equivalent of a PFF on the grenade. (Note the 'Only Affecting Self' status effect.) <That should contain whatever comes out of it.> "Right. Okay then, now if you wouldn't mind, come up here and help me take care of these jokers." He said, gesturing to Blind and the Goddess. By this point, Harry had pretty much been beaten to a pulp. The bots tossed him aside and began to focus their attention on the necromancer.
(Sorry dude, I couldn't keep focusing on someone who wouldn't respond. >.< -
(Um... Jake's a bad guy Prod... >.> Although, if that's what you meant in that post, forgive me. I'm a bit groggy.
Also, still waiting on the goddess and Harry... /e waiting)
