I think he had plenty of understanding, the only "wrong" thing he did was wear a costume. The only physical act he performed was pulling the trigger on the can of pepper spray. But the police should have had everyone involved at least detained, not just get half the story and ultimately arrest the wrong guy. But this is just a long line of screw ups the police have been a part of recently...*glares at the Occupy Movement*

Sorry to harsh your buzz, guys, but I have zero sympathy for these rubber-clad Walter Mitty types and their dreams of Batmanhood. Well, no, that's not entirely true. I have sympathy for them inasmuch as I'm sympathetic to anyone with mental illness, and if you're dressing up in a superhero costume on days other than Halloween and trying to break up bar fights for great justice - with a camera crew in tow - there is clearly something wrong with you. -

as a comparison to this competition...Jack in the Box, GameStop and Microsoft are doing a collaborative promotion for the new Assassin's Creed, Battlefield and Gears of War games, giving away free dlc codes and a $5000 shopping spree at GameStop (which I find that amount to be really hard to spend in a game store...) the only catch is that the contest is restricted to maybe 2/5ths of the overall states in the US...sucks for anyone else not within certain states because Jack in the Box isn't a nationwide fast food chain, even though GameStop and Microsoft have enough between them that they could continue the promotion if they chose.
