Quote:it's kinda fun, my PB had 10 bars of Patrol XP, I popped the XP Booster when we started, I gained a level in the first mission because I needed less than two bars, used Experienced for another 5 bars later. By the time the ITF was over, I went from 36-39.
Temp powers still too expensive. I used an XP boost that I got for free on a character during an ITF, and while I think it made a difference, I'm not sure. Not worth $5.60. Really needs to be less before I'd consider purchasing.
and...buying that path aura >.> -
Can make a educated guess though
but I'd bet dollar to donuts our current sub numbers are no where near the 180k-200k mark before i6. Even then though...sub numbers were kind of misleading because many people had multiple account.
-
supposedly...CoH had about 125k subs in 2009, but we know the population was on the decline for a while.

haven't ran some of the old content for a while...and Allison King reminded me why I don't...the back and forth from Brickstown to Dark Astoria to everywhere else wasn't worth the 21 merits...

keeping expectations low as for most sequels...but I enjoyed FC regardless.

I think I found a somewhat effective method...but that's if you want to be jumping in and out of combat...you'll at least dodge the fear and hold.
I would like to believe that evading the hold is the key to not being omgpwned by the Lethal Force power. -

Quote:you're still slower than everyone else in most casesYour first point is effectively my argument but you said it better. Fully agree with your 2nd point. Travel powers as are, are mostly pants especially in comparison to Rocket Board. Why would I waste a valuable slot for a junk power when 80 points gets me a power I can travel the entire game with from level 2, forever, on all my characters?
Rocket Board is nice, but I hate the fact it detoggles everything -
not much really scares me anymore...these days it's the paranoia factor that messes with me

want this so bad...but it's $150

I wouldn't mind being able to breakdown a Incarnate power into the pieces I used to make it...I unwittingly crafted the Vanguard Lore pet, because I forgot I had already crafted a T3 Warworks, just didn't have the Lore slot unlocked at the time.

sadly, it's a lot easier to create a attack set than a defensive set...
The only damage types they haven't covered for a Resist/Defense based set is Psionic and Toxic. I'll be looking forward to what they come up with, hell, I'd like to see what they're kicking around for ideas. -
I must read about that now...cause that's hilarious.

Quote:PPD Backup Radio at lv50:Warwolf Whistle. 80 points/5 uses. No reward token gate (which at least does limit the issue to a minority of the overall game population). Here to stay. What's next? Shivans? HVAS?
As everyone knows, temp pets can do wonders for squishie survivability solo, and thus are quite useful. So, I'm not quite convinced this isn't too good an offering for a rm-purchasable power. Unless Backup Radio (unlimited and rm-free) does summon a better pets on average (I really didn't check BU radio seriously yet, so I don't know.)

This doesn't look horrible to me at face value...but I'm not a numbers expert. -
80 points, I bought it.
It's a dollar. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?
Also...is there something I don't know about Enhancement Boosters? Granted I only applied a few of them to a couple IOs...and the increase was minimal, can they infinitely stack or something? -
ah I see what you mean now
