Finally got around to doing this, as futile as it may seem...
Tier 2 Bonus: Ability to join/invite to Super Groups
if one has the ability to join and invite people, not to mention convert your own Inf to Prestige, they should be allowed to pay base rent too.
Tier 4 Bonus: Full access to the Market
Tier 7 Bonus: Full access to Invention System
These should not be that exclusive, let the Invention System be unlocked at Tier 4 along w/ full access to the Market.
Tier 8 Bonus: Access to Large Inspirations
...wut? you should not be gated from certain inspirations just because you haven't played for 5+ years... -

Quote:massive cone? Now, the real question is: PBAoE, targeted AoE, or a new hybrid type where the area of effect is a targeted AoE as well as anything that happens to be between you and the targeted area?

bought it for the lulz w/ my monthly points

Quote:AT composition should be up to the person forming the league imo, we've been doing this for years before LFGQ existed. Or am I misunderstanding your intention? The fact that the time stated for wait time isn't the actual wait time.
The fact that you can't do anything else while waiting for it to launch.
The fact that it can often bug out by adding entire teams to a league for no apparent reason.
The fact that its faster to simply form a pre-made league. Which most incarnate trials are.
The fact that it does not take AT composition into account in anyway shape or form.
The fact that it's basically useless on smaller pop servers (yeah shocking that there are more than just exalted, freedom and virtue in this game I know.)
I could go on.
The bolded is why the winter event needs to be kept at 8 and the old method retained. -

That you secretly like it?
I've never had any real problems w/ the queue aside from the shuffling of unlocked teams...probably reason why I kinda look blankly when you guys talk about problems w/ the LFG. -
Quote:WLR was already a raid anyways...the only thing that's changed is the minimum requirement and they made it easier to access it.Secondly, even if you're right, that'd be exactly the kind of trend I don't want to see happening. I don't want to see "existing" team content turn into raid content. Add content. Don't replace content.
Also, wasn't there a countdown timer on WLR before you even clicked on the giant present? -
Quote:That seems to be a really convoluted tactic for the Hero version...Nemesis, that Malta Guy...Vanessa DeVore and Mistress Crey aren't really that big of a threat...If the Reichs TF is the one with the 4 AVs trapped in force fields ina big room at the end, I've done that once, and that's basically all I know about it because the rest of the team had all doje it before and they weren't there to sightsee, so I basically got TPed to various places and at one stage I recall told 'DON'T go in this room - the tank will sort it out'. I got the badge, but it was awful. I'll never bother with that content again. If the minimum start req was removed, I would start it right now, and probably stay in the TF for a good few days, slowly working my way through the stuff I could defeat and taking screenshots etc. I'd have a go at the AVs, but I wouldn't moan at my probable defeat.

after the difficulty and scaling changes...the team requirements should have been axed for Positron -
Quote:unless the Void is lower level than you, IS is knockdown, not knockback.Hit a Void with IS, watch him get right back up and in melee range - blah. Or, if you REALLY want to feel like you're not doing anything, take the character back into AP, find some low-low-lowbie clockwork (with lower kb resist than most other mobs,) fire and watch them... not really seem to care they should be sent flying.
On another note...haven't noticed the changes on my Katana Brute, Soaring Dragon and Golden Dragonfly seem unaffected. However, my /NRG Blaster noticed it during a iTrial, I typically use Energy Thrust to get melee enemies away from me and instead of flying back about 10 feet, they look like they just simply fall backwards. -
not saying we should set anything
I'd like to know why, just like anyone else, why they increased the minimum, because unless they made Lord Winter harder...it makes no sense. -
Yes, but neither of them are timed like the Winter Lord Realm and various pulling can let 4 people succeed with the Reichs TFs if they aren't what would be called "optimal." Though I'm not sure about the temp powers on Barracuda...I did it twice, got my Master's badge and was done with it because I hated how long and tedious it was. Also, Reich's being a big sack of hit points doesn't help...
if they lifted the time limit on WLR...I'd say let one person have at it if they wanted. -
Quote:I feel that solution would be more problematic, despite any warning. Which will bring in posts about "if we can start solo, we should be able to finish solo." It'll just more of the "can't please everybody" schtick. The complaint is not that we should be able to succeed at anything with 1-2 players. The complaint is that we should be given the chance to try, no matter how unlikely we are to succeed.
If the devs feel that a team of less than 12 is unlikely to succeed, simply put that on the content in big, red letters.
If the complaint was about the minimum start requirement, that's fine. But the rest of your post seemed like fluff, when the minimum last year was already above what you preferred. -
Quote:idiots withstanding, a parent wouldn't intentionally try to make their child incredibly ill/kill them, something is wrong if you had to go to such an extreme to make a "counterpoint."She sounds like a terrible mother. What if I have an allergy to whatever she decides I'm to have in my sandwich?

common sense is a super power.
Quote:No, it's not. Optional content requiring a team is however forcing me to team in order to start it, if I want to start it at all. The decision is mine, but after I make that decision my choice is removed.

This thread is giving me a headache and I haven't slept yet...the Winter Lord's Realm couldn't be completed w/out at least 8 people last year, yet you say you prefer to duo things instead and treat larger teams as a chore. They increased the minimum to 12 people, now you have a gripe? -
those dirty, pesky changes
The illusion of of variety is always nice, though the old contacts are gone, the new ones pretty much cover all the groups except...Primal Clockwork, and introduce Arachnos sooner. You seem to level just as quickly and forget the story just as quick, then can shove off to KR, Hollows or a farm of some sort. -
ur = lazy text speak for "you are"
it's less dickish my way -

you has my interests in about half those new incarnate powers >.>

dammit Weaver...now I have to go watch the original 21st Jump Street...
on a side note...people were actually complaining that Jonah Hill won't be as funny because he's not typecasted as the "funny fat guy" -
What I don't understand is why that only the first SSA contact gets a hold of you, but the rest so far, don't...
Quote:Don't be in such a rush, the arcs aren't going anywhere. While I'm at it, can we stop jacking up the range for each one? I haven't played long, don't have a lot of TIME to play, and am barely in the range for this one. Why can't they all be, say, 20+? Am I going to need to be 45 in another arc or two, or need Incarnate powers for the last one?
