Quote:weird, you can't earn it by doing those Cimerora paper missions?Fact: The Roman swords and axes that are being complained about were never unlocked by completing the ITF. They are unlocked by completing the Centurion badge which can be completed without ever running an ITF.
Quote:There are lots of defeat badges that don't reward anything. Some people get them because they like the title, some because they're badgers, some just because they happen to defeat enough of X to be entitled to it.
with that said, I'd buy the Rularuu skins for 400 points. -

Quote:BABs is forever a bro.I'm with you there. He stands next to them, but not getting involved in squabbles, saying "I got your back, dood."
And he always does.
(Yes, the BaBs in my head spells it "dood")
Quote:The fact that he intended to bring Wade to justice, even thenk did raise my estimation of him as a person. That was a conscious decision that, for him as I understand him, was probably the hardest choice to make.
Quote:Um...I dont think you were paying attention. It WOULD have been a good idea, right then. Because she IS the most powerful psychic around, much stronger than Mal, and at that time, her mind was NOT weakened by the dirge. So yeah, smart guy, it would have been a GREAT idea to read his mind right then and see what the plan was.
Quote:Having Statesman botch? Fine. Having Manticore botch? It can happen. Having Synapse botch? He's a cocky her. Having Psyche botch? Malaise got under her skin. Having the Midnighters botch? Eh, their club got invaded. Having them ALL botch, though? It's Botchamania 199!

Quote:Yes, it's would have been a genius idea for Sister Psyche to go into Malaise's mind. Nothing could absolutely go wrong!Worst bit fro me was the Cutscene at teh end of Part 3, where Mal tells Sis to read his mind..to find out what is going to happen. And she says NO. Wtf. cahnce to find out the devious plot..no, I wont use my super powers and instead rely on teh good will of the guy trying to KILL me. Genius
Quote:You've shot your friends in the back and kidnapped your own wife. What did you think was going to happen? Who did you think was going to interrogate Malaise, the powerful psychic if NOT your wife, the other powerful psychic? Why arrest him, send him to your wife AND THEN break into a secure facility to kill him? You idiot?
Not to say I don't agree w/ mostly what you said, but a thing here and there that are off. -
Quote:well that's fine then.Just to be clear, I never expected or asked for solo progress to be better than team progress.
I just didn't like the absolutely, positively entarded disparity that existed then.
From what I'm hearing about the new Dark Astoria courtesy of Golden Girl and Agent White, Issue 22 sounds like it'll make it worthwhile for solo/duo/trio players to pursue Incarnate progress. Which gives me a big old happy. -
solo rewards will not be better than team rewards

don't understand why they don't work off the old high heel model, which is perfectly fine.

Quote:If by "foreign rogue websites" he means "American corporations outsourcing jobs to other countries so they can make a higher profit." He's absolutely correct.By the way, Senator Leahy (D-VT) is still trying to push PIPA. Yesterday he made a lengthy speech on the Senate floor about how "foreign rogue websites" were "hurting the American economic recovery and costing us American jobs" (and complained criticisms of it were "misleading and one-sided"). Leahy's repeated claims that sites like YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook* wouldn't be affected by the legislation have already been thoroughly rebutted by legal scholars Lawrence Tribe and Marvin Ammori. Sounds like Leahy needs to hear from the public again.
* And, it should be stressed, the City of Heroes forums. -
SOPA/PIPA are dead...but hello ACTA...8 out of 11 countries have signed it...
