I am pretty sure that the answer to this is no. I believe Positron posted something on this.

I can say for sure that Hurl takes range enhancements - I have 2 Centrioles slotted & can notice the difference.
Unslotted it has a range of 40 - with 2 range enhancements (or 2 centrioles) at even lvl it gets boosted to 56. Easy to notice the difference when using the power on a regular basis.

I think what the devs are changing is the fact that some melee powers were being affected by the range portion of Centrioles even though they do not accept range enhancements - Hurl accepts regular range enhancements. -
All Scrapper/Broadsword Attacks (except Parry) can also use 2 parts of Enzyme (Def Debuff & End Red).

Any chance we can change your mind concerning Influence/Infamy progress bar?
Here is how I see it currently:
1) Will there be any consideration for lowering the requirements for the last 2 Influence/Infamy Badges with the onset of prestige? I'm fairly certain that the 5th badge is 1 billion and I'm guessing the 6th is 2 billion. The average player might earn around 1 million an hour at level 50 and approximately 40 million on their way to 50. That leaves a difference of 960 million. If you were to play 2 hours every day, you would have to play your 50 for an additional 480 days not in SG mode to earn the 5th badge. Is there a possibility of say cutting these last two required amounts in half? No SG would have you if you told them that "hey, sorry working on a badge for the next 480 days, and will not be earning prestige for the group." This is compounded for new players just starting since you start seeing a drop off of influence/infamy at 24 and no influence/infamy at 34, if in SGmode.
2) There are no progress bars for the influence/infamy badges. Doc Buzzsaw is unlocked via the 1st infamy badge which is very tough to attain prior to level 30. If you don't get the badge by 30 you miss out on content. My suggestion is either change the requirement to unlock Doc Buzzsaw or give the influence/infamy badges a meter.

Yeah, this is something I would like as well...
Having to choose between earning SG Prestige or personal Influence/Infamy is bad enough, but having to forsake the the associated badges is a bit too much. -

Could you clarify? Does that mean that recieving the reward *is* the trigger for badge credit? And, if so, does already having the reward (temp power) mean that you don't get credit, as you can't recieve another until you've used your first?

The way it works now:
You only get credit for launching the rocket if the animation of the rocket launching takes place.
The way it will work once patched:
You will get credit for launching the rocket as soon as you recieve the reward, thus even if no launch animation happens, you still get credit.

Done. All you need to do is choose the respec as the reward, and you can do Arbiter Leery whether you respeced or not. (Upcoming patch)

Ok, this is a little weird to me. My MM has started to get his healing badge, and he has no healing powers. I know you can get it by healing henchmen, but the only thing I've ever done to them was maybe give one a respite. He's a Merc/Traps MM, just started him. Am I missing something?

I've read this thread about Leary 3 times now... the one commonality is that everyone who has reported getting Leary missions has exactly one unused respec. If you have 2 unused respecs it doesn't work, if you have used any of your respecs it doesn't work. If anyone has exactly one unused respec and still doesn't get the Leary missions.. please post.

Yes, this was about a week ago. In fact their response implies that she is NOT a level 10-15 contact. Since you can only get the missions at one level (in our case we were 10) then she can't possibly be 10-15.

I was doing the Renault Strike Force (CoV) yesterday, and throwing all my assorted temp powers on the Eye. One of them was a Stolen SMG, and when I looked through the combat log, each damage message for the SMG (each tic I mean) was accompanied by another damage message claiming to be a bonus due to my origin (Natural in this case).

Natural heroes get a bonus with the Stolen SMG. Tech folks get bonuses with High Explosives. Blackwand gives bonuses to Magic types. Minor Mutation is more effective for Mutants. The Psionic Activator is more effective if you are a Science origin.

Aye. 1000 Longbow. Best place to get them without having to worry about getting exp or dealing with the PvP crowd is to head to Mercy Island. Level 6-8ish ones spawn, typically in groups of 4+, around the ferry to Port Oakes area. Took me around 2.5 hours to get the badge since none of the 500+ I killed before the update counted.

Really - I got my badge upon logging in - unfortunately, my brute is lvl 33.
Kill counts are one of the things that the devs said are easy to keep track of & are actually "built in" the program. -

The easist way to get your 1 key back is through the options menu & keymapping - for power slot 1 hit the 1 key
or through a bind I believe it would be:
/bind 1 "powexec_slot 1"
This should work, unless you have a bind calling & rebinding your 1 key, in which case you should save your keybinds to a text file & search through them for the mistake. -

I have the SnowBeast power, still looking for the Snowballs. I don't have the collect 100 nice badge yet; a little over half way to it. Maybe I'll get lucky and pick the right place and time for the Snowballs temp present.
If anyone manages to have both powers trayed at once, I'd like to know. I'm really hoping it's not "you get one or the other, and that's it" sorta thing.

As a simple example, if you were to create a bind in game, on the chat line you would type - /bind rctrl "powexectoggleon fly$$powexectoggleon hover" - this will make the right control key toggle between hover & fly
If you want to creat a series of binds, it's easier to create a text bind file & load them all at once.
To create a text file of the same bind open up notepad and type: rctrl "powexectoggleon fly$$powexectoggleon hover"
You'll notice that you do not need to put the /bind in there. Save the file to a simple directory (I use c:\cohbinds) and name it something like fly.txt
In CoH at the chat line type: bind_load_file c:\cohbinds\fly.txt
Look in the guide section of the forum for the Guide to Binds that gives much of the basic information regarding binds & txt files -

You are probably using a long path such as c:\program files\city of heroes\binds\lalala.txt
The bind_load command doesn't like file names with spaces - you should create a bind directory directly on your C: drive - I use cohbinds as the directory.
Also, when you said you copied & pasted, I assume you are using the binds from the original post - don't do that
Either use Gnarly's Speed on Demand program you can download it at Nilt's City of Heroes Resources or use Monorail's CityBinder.
I only have experience with Gnarly's SoD, but I've heard good things about CityBinder.
