Actually, you are stalking me. I've actually had a presence on this server...albiet just a clone of Mr E-Man sitting in Outbreak...since the 3 day head-start to CoH!
Not to pull rank or anything...
If you need a coalition, we have a "mostly" functional (although sparce) base that you can use to get going. -

My first Pinnacle 50 took 181 hours of game time - strickly leveling in a once-a-week static team environment.
I spent more time in game than the other members of my group, doing base, crafting, badging & other non-leveling activities - the other members below, were all in the 100-125 hr range.
Also hitting 50 that night from my static group were:

Today we have the Yule Log - An Ancient Norse Tradition!
...and as an added bonus, here is one of my favorite Xmas songs (sort of...)

Turning the quarter in eight seconds flat.
They parked by the smokestack in bunches and clusters,
And Chubby slid down, coming on like gangbusters,
His threads were from Cubesville and I had to chuckle,
In front, not in back, was his Ivy league buckle!
And the mop on his chin had a button-down collar,
And with that red nose he looked like a baller.
Like he was the squarest, the most absolute,
But let's face it, who cares when he left all that loot?
He laid the jazz on me and peeled from the gig,
Wailing, "Have a cool Yule, Man!" and clutched off in his rig. -

Yeah - this was one of my favorites as a kid as well...
...however, about 10-12 years ago, my wife & I caught an episode on TV (somewhere)...
...and I asked, "How could I have watched this crap?"
Maybe if I watched more than one 5 min episode, the show would grow on me & get better, but I did not want to chance losing all of my fond childhood memories of the show...
When doing the post, I also looked up the DVD Set - it is still way too expensive for me to indulge in buying ($79 from Amazon / $48.61 from DeepDiscount). And from the write-ups/reviews, they did a poor job restoring the episodes. -

I remember my first Polaroid Instant Camera - it was so cool watching the pictures develop - even though most of them were washed out.
