I love J-Force because they are going to give me one billion infamy for typing out eighteen words.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Good job with reading comprehension there.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Maybe he is trying to trick us!

He thinks that he knows that J knows that we don't know that he knows what we know, so instead of knowing what we know we mistakenly think that he knows what he doesn't know and J knows that the answer is 41.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    42
  2. lol

well, regardless of where you put it, I already added it to my excel file.
  3. lol

You can just add it to the COMIX stickied thread if you want.

Considering the recent passing of David Arneson this month and Gary Gygax last year, along with the 5th Anniversary of CoX coming around the corner, I'd like to request a mostly useless info post about the history of RPGs, from the 70s to today.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I did do a couple posts when Gary Gygax died:

    Mr E-Man's semi-regular & mostly useless information post #360

Gary Gygax and Origins of Dungeons & Dragons – Part One

    Mr E-Man’s semi-regular & mostly useless information post #361

Gary Gygax and Origins of Dungeons & Dragons – Part Two

A post about the history of RPGs, from the 70s to today will need to be a multi-part epic.

I will look into it after I get the use of my left hand back in a couple weeks.

psssstttt.. MR E... I just changed it, yesterday.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You changed the MA arc? lol

You said you added the Tanker Tuesday - you need to be clearer when talking to old people you know...
  7. Post deleted for premature arc selection...

We'll put that one up for next week...

    E-

What a great idea to post this here... That way every1 will have a chance. You can still in game email me or one of the MODS on Freedom Events to ask that your arc be highlighted as AEMOTW (yea, I just came up with that acronym)

PS E, I just changed the AEMOTW yesterday, cuz I wanted to include tanker tuesday in the MOTD

Here are the ones I have:

    Arc: 39047 Equivalent Vengeance - Timuraa's Story
    Arc: 61918 The Unseen
Arc: 34740 Adventures in Wonderland - Another Arc has the same name, but different number from the list
    Arc: 94479 The Solo Challenge
Arc: 31005 Friends in Need (of Body Parts) - already on the list

ps. Turg, PM headed your way.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Any chance you have globals to go along with those?
  9. First Turg, I PM'd you...

Second, I thought about asking for a sticky, but too many stickies up there already - it's just a sticky situation...

Each week when I choose a new arc, I will post it here to keep the thread somewhat active.
  10. Also, because this has come up already...

You need to have your Arc ID number listed for this.

Just makes it easier for me...
  11. Rose had the idea of adding a player created mission each week to the MoTD for Freedom Events - spotlighting it.

This past week, Turg's MA Arc has been listed, but I will change it tonight.

Since Rose is going to be somewhat AFK for the next couple of weeks, my plan is to highlight a mission or arc from the ones listed in THE COMIX RACK - I will randomly pick an arc listed there to advertise on Freedom Events.

So, if for some reason, you have not listed your MA creation in THE COMIX RACK & want to have a chance to get a little extra advertising, please do so now.

Also, once your arc has been listed, it will be removed from contention for future consideration - just to give everyone a chance.

Edit: I obviously missed your Cinco de Mayo lol, but I'll keep my post as is so I can look even more foolish...

[/ QUOTE ] You know, [The Fool] gives you +Movement_Rate and +Recharge.. but it's that darn -toHit that gets on people's nerves. haha

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I know, got it last night & Rage took care of the -ToHit quite nicely...

By the way, did you check my calendar yet? lol

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes I did, but you didn't add in any holidays...how am I going to know when Cinco de Mayo is if it's not listed on the calendar?

[/ QUOTE ] Well to be honest, I meant to add in the scheduled TFs and such, but since I had originally made it for somebody who didn't even play on Freedom, I decided against it.

Here are some key dates for 2009:
April 28th - City Of Heroes 5 Year Anniversary
    May 1st - May Day
    May 1st - Law Day
    May 1st - Loyalty Day
    May 1st - Astronomy Day
May 2nd - Join Hands Day
    May 2nd - Numina's Birthday
May 5th - Cinco de Mayo
May 5th - National Teachers Day
May 7th - National Day of Prayer
    May 8th - BaB's Birthday
    May 10th - Mother's Day
    May 12th - Nurse's Day
May 15th - Peace Officers Memorial Day
May 15th - National Defense Transportation Day
May 16th - Armed forced Day
    May 18th - Victoria Day
    May 22nd - Maelstrom's Birthday
May 22nd - National Maritime Day
    May 25th - Memorial Day
    May 29th - Pentecost

May 10th-16th - National Transportation Week
    May 11th-15th - Police Week
May 16th-22nd - National Safe Boating Week

May is also Steelmark Month, National Physical Fitness & Sports Month, and Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month.

More key dates can be found here: May 2009 Bizarre and Unique Holidays.

The May birthstone is the Emerald
The May Flowers are the Lily-of-the-Valley and Hawthorne

Astrological Signs in May are Taurus until May 20th, then Gemini starting from the 21st.

I figured it just takes up too much room and would make it look messy.
As for Cinco de Mayo.. I LoL'd!

Oops, looks like I made my own mostly useless info post. haha

    [/ QUOTE ]

    ...

Looks like you missed the joke as well...

Cinco de Mayo = 5th of May

    ...

    It's like, what's the number for 911?

    ...

...but at least now I know to break out the super glue on May 2nd...

Edit: I obviously missed your Cinco de Mayo lol, but I'll keep my post as is so I can look even more foolish...

    [/ QUOTE ]

    It's on my list...

    *sigh*

I haven't had any time to look-up anything today...

(I am planning to do a post on Ear Hair which seem to grow proportionaly longer & faster as men get older...)

I would like to request a thread on the origin of "HAPPY BUNNY"

Uhm wow, that looks painful! How are you playing this game again?

Left handed mostly - using the keyboard isn't so bad, but I cannot use the mouse with my right hand, so that had to switch...

    Stitches Out

    [/ QUOTE ]

At least yours come out. I got the dissolvable ones, and one of them is sticking out like a plastic fastener like you get with sale tags on clothing. I wanna yank it out, but I'm thinking that qualifies as a Really Bad Idea(tm).

When I had hernia surgery, I had staples...

...and I swear my doctor was like some comic tv mad scientist...

When he pulled the staples, they were flying all over the room...

Dr: you're going to feel some pulling

    E: *ooowwwwww*

    Staple: *ping* *ping* *ping*

    Dr: I know...just nine more...

    <rinse & repeat>

...and just for reference, it was an Inguinal Hernia - so I was already in abundent pain...

The stitches come out tomorrow, so I figured a post about stitches & sutures was in order...
  21. If I don't get completely tied up tonight, I should be able to make the 2nd run if you still have room on the team.
