Task Force Stats & Info:
- This task force requires a 4-person team to start & I will set it to No Temp Powers (which includes Veteran Reward Powers) & 0 Defeats
- 6 Missions total (includes 1 talk to)
- Badge(s): Column Breaker & Master of the 5th Column Task Force for No Deaths/No Temp Powers (no guarantees :smirk: )
- Merit Reward: 20
- General Instructions: Stick together & follow instructions. Always let the Tank grab aggro first – even before debuffs. This is a work in progress.
- Mission One: After we port to the 5th Column base, the AV is in the next room, so beware if you go exploring.
- Mission Two: We will most likely take out the portals using ranged attacks & not worry about the 5th Column, but we will determine that based on team make-up. As soon as Invincible Reichsman spawns, please exit the mission (either via Ouroboros or the red exit spot). The mission will time-out without anyone in it.
- Mission Three: Glowie hunt & end boss.
- Mission Four: Talk to Tina
- Mission Five: Glowie hunt. Each glowie spawns an ambush, so be prepared
- Mission Six: If we have a Stealth/TPer, we will just go to the end room, if not we will clear to it. Tank/Scrappers only in melee with Reichsman. The rest of the team should form up together to share heals/buffs. As each AV awakens let the tank grab aggro before attacking.

Here is a question:
Do the Deadly Apocalypse Zone Event spawns count toward the ToT kill badges? -
Just a reminder - tonight is the Re-Do for Team "Did-Not-Complete"!
I'll be there with some shiny bubbles... -
Quote:Thanks for taking the star & leading the "fast" team Muse!Well, this was a blast!
Team 2 (Aka Team Please Don't Kill Me) steam rolled the first SF, and had only a single death in the second one before we completed. I forgot to grab some info (such as times, and more importantly who was actually on my team). Sorry.
On the other hand, those who were there (you know who you are) did great! That's probably the smoothest run I've been on for anything where I had the 'Leader Star of Doom'. Thank you, and it was a blast!
-Aoide
P.S. Sorry I was out of it during that last mish, between a headache and being yelled at near the end, I was a little distracted.
First, let me say that I forgot to upload any screenshots again... *sigh*
Team #1 ran through the Mender Tesseract SF pretty easily, but we did not stealth anything; rather we cleared as we went. We had a few "level ups" along the way!
I believe we took 43 mins / not sure on the amount of deaths.
For Mender Lazarus, Luna needed to switch off of her brute due to level range. So we had 3 MMs!
The Mender Lazarus SF gave us a couple of tough moments, but luckily no team wipes. Burkholder's group gave us the biggest (near team wipe) scare. But we made it through.
For the last mission, we were going to pull the mobs on the floor up to us, but Nosferatu had other plans & promptly cleared out everyone before aggroing & dying to the AVs...
Luna pulled the AVs to up the steps & into the back room, but none of them liked staying there very much - no major problems & we cleared the ambushes as they came, since each AV that was pulled was usually off running away when the ambushes hit...
After we finished up, we continued clearing the rest of the mission so Rox could level up again (I think she gained 2 levels).
Mr E-Mech gained about 1.8 levels of XP for the evening. He's ready to go for the Ice Mistral SF on Saturday night!
I'll post up the stat box pics later today...
Thanks for joining everyone! It was a lot of fun as always!
Next Wednesday, by request, will be a Master of Dr Kahn Task Force.
I'll create a sign-up post when I get a chance...later today or tomorrow. -
Oh, yeah - this is tonight isn't it?!?
See everyone in about an hour. -
Quote:That's fine meeting in the lower zones to make it easier. I misunderstood what you were saying.I'm sure the evil SSK will be in effect for this. I was just listing those places to gather because they are not too busy. It gets hard to form teams in busy areas. I don't mind moving zones at all. I'll look at Bricks and Sharkshead tonight and find a good spot for us to meet instead.
I cannot remember how the trick or treating works. I think last year that I trick or treated in multiple zones on Luna, but I could be mistaken. Foggy memory and all -
Quote:Greetings everyone!
After yesterdays email about the upcoming Halloween event, I've decided to run a couple of nights next week to let us all get together and enjoy the special events!
The plan:
Tuesday October 20th 8pm-midnight Eastern : Hero Side
Thursday October 22nd 8pm-midnight Eastern : Villain Side
I figure we can get some teams going at 8pm each night, and then as people want to come and go they can. This will also let us switch out toons for anyone who wants badges on multiple toons. I've already got some interest from friends off Facebook, so I figure we can easily get 2-3 teams going.
For Hero Side lets start out in Galaxy (low crowds) in front of BaB's. On Villain Side (Thursday) lets start in Port Oakes near the black market.
Now I know they have a new event this year, so I'm sure most people want to try that out. Plus there will be zombie invasions. Do we know yet if Jack and Pumpkin head are still around as well? Plus we can trick or treat if we get really bored (but clean up your messes!).
Sound like fun? We can use the combined teams to help with the major zone events. The Freedom TF Chat channel will be good to use to call out for teams if you show up later in the night.
Luna is SSK in place for this? Are the doors based on zone/level range as in the past? Meaning anyone above level 10 could not click a door in Galaxy City & would a level 50 want to be EX'd down that far for this?
Heroside, the best zone for Eochai/Jack killing is Brickstown - small zone with an easy circuit. I think Sharkshead is best villainside.
Not sure how the new stuff works... -
Welcome back Turg!
We missed having you fall asleep during the MoLRSF attempt Saturday night...
:smirk: -
Even with the lack of damage, I still think we could have made it, but the level range difference was a major problem:
- It took us way too long to take down the hatched krakens & the Rikti guards, so due to time constraints we were forced to bypass taking out the tentacles.
- Which lead to us being easy cannon fodder for the the tentacles & hydra during the attack phase.
-
hmmm - I could have sworn I updated the roster last night...
-
A quick write-up on the MoITF attempt that we ran after the Abandoned Sewer Trial.
We did not succeed...
We needed to pick up three people from the channels to fill up the roster - including my ex-SG mate Terminotaur (on Red Tape).
Our first attempt was cut short in the first mission with a bit of over-aggro & I went down.
We restarted & our second attempt was ended in the second mission with a combination Cyst explosion followed by the corresponding ambush spawning atop of said player head...ouch!
We continued on & wound up finishing with just the one death. Romy was having issues though, he wouldn't come up to the hill - rather, he ran all the way to the front of the map, fell off the hill a few times, etc - we probably waited around 15 mins for him to settle down, before we decided to just head down to the platform & take him out there along with the the Cims down there.
MoITF attempt: 10/12/2009 - Stat Box
The reason why we are all just lying there...unmoving...had to do with someone shouting: "Now Everyone Die!" - I'm not sure who it was... :smirk:
The Team:
Mr E-Lectric
Voltor Prime
Uchikowasu
Hatake Kasumi
Red Tape
Motorpsycho Nitemare
Valkryie Painfyre
Lambda Calculus
Thanks for joining everyone - it was fun! Sorry we could not get it done. -
-
Since this is a fairly short trial...I am planning on running an MoITF following...at approximately 11:45pm eastern if anyone is interested.

Quote:I /bug a couple of radio missions that lead to the Brickstown AE building.Hey guys,
Can I get any specific missions? Were they radio missions?
From my bug reports:
Radio Mission: Get Formula 13 in Brickstown - they waypoint directs you to inside the AE building to the info counter on the first level. No door.
Radio Mission: Defeat Dretch and Guards has the waypoint bringing you to the steps of the AE building in Brickstown 82.9 -0.0 1160.5 (approx coords).
Hope that helps squash the bugs. -

Quote:As noted, it was a complete failure last night...Note to self: bumrushing the FP is a bad idea...
However, it was kinda fun throwing caution to the wind, even if it ended in failure.
First, we couldn't complete the first mission (3 attempts) without dying...that should have been a clue as to how the night was going to go.
And since we zerged the Vindicators with success, we tried it on the Freedom Phalanx which met with immediate failure.
We tried a couple more times, then decided to reset the mission (2x) - then during while entering for the last attempt, I crashed & my comp locked up when I tried to re-enter the game, so I missed the last attempt.
Oh well, I had fun while it lasted.
Sorry about the utter failure... :smirk: -

Just a reminder - this is tonight!
We are still one person shy of a full team, so if anyone is interested please post here!
If not, we'll try to recruit someone tonight. -
