  1. <---- Was surprised to find (on walking into a Paragon City video games shop) some of the younger generation of Heroes have taken to developing their own titles!

    Upcomming Comic

Ummm, Council soldier?, can make out some kind of visor i think. I agree with MorganaFiolett that the reader really needs to see a couple of frames possibly with your character Crocodyle in a larger enviroment to get a feel for the visual style.

I commend you for your proposed idea and enthusiasm, I still have planned a comic strip myself....finding the time is another thing as always.
  3. *Applauds Nanolathe*
Great!, reminds me of a lizard-like villain I saw on Toonami, can't for the life of me remember who it was though.

    Nicely-done Nanolathe
  4. Noxious Gas you say?.... Hmmm, perhaps...

Waft of the Skunks' Tail - 10% chance of skidded underwear .

Its quite a rare receipe but i believe should work just fine.

...Disclaimer: driven Insane by overly serious posts Mother attempts toilet humour as pure comic relief.
Be advised there is no such set >.<

    Character sketch

    [ QUOTE ]
Thanks. Hehe. I just wish I could actually draw well. Art isn't my strong point at all.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I agree with Knightly,
Drawing does develop with practice, It is just keen observation and following rules such as proportion and perspective, taking those rules and pouring your Imagination into it - and all of us here have got Imagination or else we wouldn't be in Paragon wearing spandex.
People may not have a flair for a particular type of drawing ie: 'character/figure drawing in the fantasy genre' or be particularly quick - but anyone is capable of passable drawing.

    Congratulations on the drawing Anarkki,
    Keep it up.
  6. Beloved Heroes and Heroines of Paragon and all my dear friends.

The Hamidon trial tonight at 7pm will be my last time on duty for a little while.
I will be flying to Founder's Falls afterwards to check into the M. HARVEY Medical centre where I plan to have a little work done to an old niggling Hero injury to my shoulder.
I will therefore be absent from the skies of Paragon and my beloved Eastgate for a while and will miss you all lots.

Mother will return in the not so distant future.
Take care for now little ones...x.
  7. All is forgiven Amasing.... even if you did liken my hami cossie to looking like a bogey!

*P:s - Welcome to the forums Amasing Flame!, you took your time getting here didn't you?

    Memorials?

    [ QUOTE ]
Hmmm... a Hero's Tomb style decoration would be neat... you know the idea, right? A stone plinth with an effigy of the burried hero resting upon it. Add a flag and a couple of torches, and you've got a very nice memorial where you can pray to the spirit of leaders long gone, perhaps gaining their wisdom and advice...

Or you could just e-mail them, I suppose.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I like this idea, and the quoted example, It would be very nice if we could have an Editable plaque that we could fill in like with the ID info, anyone clicking on the tomb/memorial plaque could then read all about the fallen hero/heroine in question.
  9. I think I'd better turn up to try and keep Amasing Flame alive and watch over Super Saiyan Nicky......those little blaster tear-aways can get into right trouble!
  10. I would hazard a guess-timate that we have about a fortnight or so of the old Hami-raid left.
So maybe we could step it up again during the last week if people are interested.

    minimal dmg by the mind,

[/ QUOTE ]Just for the record, mind is quite possibly most damaging controller primary.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Psi's not too shabby as a Defender Secondary either (as one Corruptor who picked on Mummy in Recluses Victory tonight found out to his peril) - + bonus holds for the MA/SR scrapper to take advantage of.

    /em,Muahahaha
  19. [ QUOTE ]
An Empath would probably be most helpful. You can heal her and double her defense by dropping Fortitude on her. This will boost her damage by 30% or so as well. This might be a bit boring for you though, as you'll mostly just be acting as a personal buffbot.

Maybe try a controller with Empathy secondary? You'd have the ability to be a bit more offensive and still able to buff and heal when needed.

/SR will get better with the release of I7 though. Defense powers should no longer scale depending on mob level so the defense value you have should be just as effective on a lv 1 mob as it would be on a lv 50 mob. This should improve /SR scrappers ability to play against higher level mobs.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Thoroughly recommend Mesmer's suggestions here.
I have a Lv 47 MA/SR Scrapper and the Empath for Fortitude, clearmind, heals and Adrenaline Boost for when Elude drops would be unbeatable as would a controller with the full Empathy secondary set for perhaps a slightly less hectic gameplay style.

    A few sketches

I'm not quite sure how long you've been drawing but I'm impressed with both the drawings and the standard in perspective and foreshortening you are setting yourself!.

    Nice work Wytch!

Ah haaaaah! - With the care you put your Costume away...Anybody would think you'll be returning at some point in the future!

    See you soon Krazy Mary.
    Take Care.
  22. I know FFM...thanks , almost posted this last night following Britanics post, I just wanted to clarify.

This is not a protest post, this is not trying to bend the rules and get Tufts inclusion - never had any intention of that, this is not even an official vote on said creative awards.

This is a plain and simple post saying thankyou for Tufts' work that is humbly squirrelled away on Jay's thread and directed soley for the advancement of costume options with no reward sought.
I wasn't sure if the wider creative community was aware of his efforts.
    Hence the post.

    Thankyou Tuft.
  23. Some of you may be aware of all the hard work Heroes like Tuft have been putting into Jay's Costume suggestion thread, but only recently have I really gone through all of his designs in his City Of Heroes Costume Gallery and I just wanted to say a big thankyou to him for his creative contribution to the thread, his work is awesome, showing a real love for what he does.

I know votes for creative genius have to be submitted on the creative board, but I just felt a creative endeavour as good as THIS gets my appreciation everytime and would get my vote if I could submit it.

*Starts a standing ovation for Tuft*

I just cant seem to draw like that without going nuts over tiny details and ruining it.

Sometimes just need someone to tell me "stop, your done"
