Instructions on how to get your badge:

#: Choose your Superpowered Identity.

#: Think of what you would like your character to look like on the badge, what would they be doing?

Here are a couple of examples if you are stuck for ideas:

Alternatively if you are confident enough with your screenshot skills you could take a screenshot of your character in action (make sure the focus is still on your character though), just like in the examples given - If you want your character to be recognisable you are going to have to zoom in! - preferably Head to upper thigh/waist.

# Take the highest resolution screenshot you can of your character - The better the resolution - the clearer the Image will be and the better your badge will look.

Pressing printscreen on your keyboard will send a jpeg file directly to your Hard drives folder/Program files/City of Heroes/Screenshots directory.
Please make sure the image is clear and free of chat tabs and at the highest resolution possible.

# Once you have an Image you are happy with - Please send it along with any information on how you would like the image to look, along with your characters name, your Origin and Archetype, which server the character is on, and your name and mailing address to mothers_love@hotmail.co.uk

# Once I have your Image I will do the artwork, make up your characters own personalised badge and mail it to the address you give.

It true Empaths are somewhat at a disadvantage with their primary set being for the benefit of others albeit 3 powers, so it depends how you slot for the second.
Are you going for PvE/Hybrid/or full-on PvP slotting overall on your build?. Mother isn't exactly a PvP killing machine but shes surprised the unwary and complacent in her time.

We've just got to work out what the Carrot on the end of a stick can be to tempt those who can not normally be bothered or who are a bit jaded about PvP.

I don't believe that is the case.
There is always PvP going on Union-side- It is very strong, All this thread shows is a predictable result to a one-sided fight.
Hardly any of Union's regular PvP champions were in attendance.... why?, - Well.. you'll have to ask them I'm afraid. I did my best to get them to the arena on the night - I guess they were absent from the game/forums the last couple of nights or just were not interested.

Lets try again only this time have a longer recruiting phase and post up on the forums and on channels.

You're talking about in an arena team.
I'm talking about 1v1 in a zone.

I'm hybrid PvP build - I could respec (and think I will after tonight) for a more offensive role, but Union-side I go on the offensive in RV and when exempted in Sirens and Warburg fall back to a more supportive role as Dominate and TK disappear along with M.O.B.

I've advertised 2 evenings running on UC and UBH and the original thread has been up for a couple of weeks.

Like I said, I think it is going to take a big effort, maybe something official with rewards to get lots of entrants - unfortunately.

You volunteering? ... to be honest I don't think we are going to have proper representation until something official is organised - sadly some people just cannot make it time-wise or just plain cannot be bothered with PvP, its not everyones 'cup-a-tea'.

I hope that little dig at Union's credentials rattles a few cages and gets more people to turn up next time.

Entering Pocket D we were outnumbered 2:1 by our Defiant bretherin baying for our blood, and yes we lost.... at times it felt like 300 against the Immortals, but those who turned up fought well and can be proud. Its the ones who couldn't be bothered to turn up cannot complain about inter-server competitions in the future.

[Additional] Less than a weeks notice is probably going to be short notice for those who have made plans.
Whomever fancies organising it could Pm GhostRaptor and see if we could set up a regular Defiant Vs. Union officially advertised and sanctioned matches with running score kept tabbed on the EU.Website.. you know... like a football score - 1-0... 1-1 ... 2-1... 3-1... 3-2... 3-3... etc etc.

It could be quite thrilling week in week out.

leaving SG's? - Players won't want to lose their contribution to their SG prestige, so.... as detailed or Warburg or Arena battles on a big map I guess?.

Anyway,lets see whats suggested.

Not sure what I am doing Thursday evening at the mo, Sundays are usually better for me - More than happy to defend for Union.

...but you'll forgive me if I wait to see how many actually turn up this time.

Also: this going to be in RV as original post detailed?: If so the servers are going to have to take turns representing the roles of Good and Evil.

[Edit]: This doesn't necessarily have to be decided over one evening. It could be the servers representing Good Or Evil then swapping everyweek and a score kept.
