  4. Agreed, Bugs there were - and they were there a-plenty in Issue 7.
    I'll join you in saying I'll have the Issues when they are good and done as long as they stay roughly to the release schedule and listen to what the players actually want in-game over pvp tinkering content.

    Basically you can plan all you want but I imagine sometimes even when you think you've finished an Issue off with precision and finesse, the community giving it a darn good thrashing out over on Test is still going to throw up bugs, conflicts and stuffery that just was just not anticipated.

    I have to agree - Diversification over Amplification,
    Play to CoX's strengths with has always been variety, different Powersets, different Patron pools, and especially a different variety of Accolade powers to pick for different scenarios, I love the accolades (which also ties in the hobby of badgehunting) they are a fun reward for effort put into the game. All of this over a levelcap raise anyday for me.

    As I've said before, for those of you who don't think your toons are powerful enough, (which I see calls for as the continued motivation behind a levelcap raise), I recommend continuing with the IO sets, just wait until you've tweaked your build to fit in all those lovely Ultimate set bonuses', they really do make quite a difference!.

    [Edit]: I guess if a majority manage to get Ultimate set bonuses on all their toons, and the Devs look at the statistics and see a great majority of players have fully exhausted the Invention system - Then, I guess, calls for a level cap rise or something to keep character development fun would be valid. A levelcap rise has just got to be scraping the bottom of the barrel though as far as options go fitting into our current game framework.

    For all the concern Destiny Manifest was Villain content heavy and the troubles with Grandville and Recluses Victory when they were new, I have to say I still maintain Issue 7 was somewhat underated as far as how much effort the Devs put into it, I mean lets not forget this was the issue all our mid-range slightly blurry textures were replaced with beautiful crisp High-res ones!. Fair bit of work that.

  8. I'll be honest, I don't dislike the design, but I don't find it particularly inspiring, the 1st (Daily Mirror) design was slightly better.
    I think NCsoft should give us all a template to work on, we could decorate a Pc with our individual Creative Genius designs.

    Good Luck to whomever goes in for the competition though

I'd say (dream scenario) NCNC have contracted Gentle Giant or Kotobukiya to do lovely mini-statues and busts we get as the major Vet awards, or (more likely) a whole spread of really interesting (and in no way short of content:I'm looking at you Wedding Pack) future micro-transaction packs that become eligible for free as Vet awards.

    I symphathise, I too get motion sickness (when I'm not driving) - you are getting it in the car because you are concentrating on the screen as opposed to looking out the window and anticipating when the movement of the car is about to happen, It happens to me if I try to read in a car.

    Re: the cave missions, try zooming in to either 1st person P.O.V or just over the shoulder, turning off sprint also.
    The colour scheme being the same 360' around the crystalline-laced tunnels doesnt help I know, and as others have said, forget about flying or superspeed in there.

    I really didn't spend that much time on-duty compared to others, but what time I did I managed to;

    #Claw back 21 Million of the 30 Million I feel I semi-wasted on kitting out my semi-redundant MA/SR scrapper.
    I didn't note just quite how much I levelled but instead tended to alternate between Blue-side and Red-side depending on where the teams were, and just enjoyed the teaming.

    #Mastermind up 3-5 levels or so

    #Plant/Thorns Dom up 3-5 levels or so

    #Mace/Willpower Tanker up 3-5 levels or so


    ... As others have said, Missions on Invincible were a challenge because of the long load times and lag.

  19. Talking of all things Aussie; Please ask Jay to consider proper animal faces with snouts, the lack of a decent Kangaroo snout and tail is what scuppered my concept of 'Roo the scrapper' - I was going to use my boxing gloves Vet award and everything!
