Hmmm, hard to think of a game genre that would both appeal to the majority of CoX players and fully capitalise on the variety of characters in the CoX universe. Beat-'em-up I suppose... along the line of MK Vs DC?.
-
Yes, what kind and level are they Lycon?. If they are lv50 + you might want to sell them at Wentworths Auction House only they go for millions at the higher levels, the Lv52 and 53 ones for tens of millions.

The PPD code outfit is not an Icon cossie option. It should be available as a toggle to be dropped into your tray from your powers list.

I tune in whenever I'm on-duty Sindrone.
- Is there an EvoRadio channel I can add to my channel list?

Welcome to the boards Masamune.
I like your idea of an escalating infection (as all good zombie outbreaks should be), but agree with the posts saying that PvP in a PvE zone wouldn't work.
I would like the 'Marvel Zombies' suggestions we had had over the years re: The Signature Heroes being infected and running rampage, travelling through the zones infecting other Signature Heroes. That, possibly some new giant monsters from the Netherworld popping up... oh, and fireworks. I'm getting rather jealous of firework displays in other MMOs now. Its about time Paragon had them if you ask me. -
Good luck to you Avo, and who knows, maybe we'll cross paths in ST:Online eventually.
Watch out for V_Ger on the ST:Online boards, shes a strange one alright.
All the best.

Because of Copyright/Intellectual Property discussions over the last couple of years; This collection of merchandising ideas will be translated into a homage/parody of the City of Heroes universe and badged as 'City of Kittenz' merchandise instead.
Available early 2009 in its own shop with 100% of the funds I would normally get as author going to the charity you specify instead. My artwork and featuring your player-suggested mottos. I hope you'll like them.

Oddly, the *most* beautiful thing I've seen in-game... was a bug.
For a few memorable days last year, the fog lifted in Dark Astoria. And underneath the blanket of evil was a wonderfully-designed, beautifully atmospheric map with rich detail, a working city... just abandoned. Really gorgeous, and much, MUCH creepier without the fog. (Think trading a grainy Romero movie for the painful sharpness of 28 Days Later...)
TBH, if I was going to ask for anything, I'd ask for a slight concept shift from the devs about DA - remove the fog, but lock it to an eternal moonlight night...
[/ QUOTE ]
I think the fog adds more character to DA - which it needs, as its buildings really need to be older and more gothic
[/ QUOTE ]
have to admit finding it realy hard to dissagree with gg herethe buildings in DA do realy need to be alot older and gothic to fit the feel of the zone better
[/ QUOTE ]
The buildings in most of the CoH zones need to show more variety in historical architecture, as they do in The Rogue Isles.
I know there have been Rikti Invasions but the whole city was not totalled, some buildings would of survived and would help make the cityscapes less uniform and bland. -
Oh yes!, I remember that!, most definately /signed.
Hopes if enough of us 'remember' it, NCsoft starts to doubt itself, whether they actually did that and consider doing it again. -
Thats far too close to EA's "Its in the game!" to be repeated as a mantra. I'd feel dirty.
[EDIT]Original Post: /signed, both that and your 'release the fly-locky thing' post most definately supported. -
I've never seen a level 51 Hami personally, they are usually 50, 52 or 53.

ooo, yes please, this is a great idea

At the risk of turning this into a wishlist thread;
I would like to see the grey gloom lifted from DA and proper Volumetric fog put in there, the engine is capable of it as can be seen with the Steamy Mist and Lightning Cloud powers, so I'd love to see proper fog in DA and proper clouds up in the sky.
To see a Rikti Mothership or Nemesis Zepplin emerging from the clouds would be awesome.
[EDIT]: actually, what I would really like (and what I have been noticing more and more recently for some bizarre reason)... is this ambient humming drone as background noise in all zones, its like a constant bass drone, a plateau for all the other ambient noises to sit upon i think is its supposed basis... whatever it is, it is really annoying and in my opinion unnecessary, anyone else notice this noise? -
I'll have a sneaky guesstimation that it will be a one-off case of both due to the introduction of dual builds and the changes to existing powersets - but then expect it to apply solely to whichever build you select in the future.
Its just a sneaking suspicion really, anything less I imagine will leave people either peeved at their altered builds or not launching into the prospect of building that alternative build with gusto because they are skint.
Short answer: nobody knows yet, but heres hoping anyhow. -
That would be nice, but in the meantime I'd settle for a redux of majority of the zone loading intro-pics...they truely are low res, uninspiring and a little ugly in my opinion.
-
Agreed, there is always the ethos of 'never enough' for high-end users, but if you have never seen Paragon at its full potential because you have been low-spec then it is definately a treat when you see a game you have been playing for so long in a new light.
I remember when I first got my Geforce card 3 years ago and suddenly the top layer of water was translucent and spandex had a newfound sheen to it as I rotated around my character - I was utterly transfixed.
And now the Devs say they have been holding back on just what the engine is capable of, maybe if they let rip with the current game-engine features It'll keep the wolves from the door for a year or two with regard to the mounting requests for an engine overhaul or redux. -

The times I've done it it has worked but there is that moment when 95% chance of success makes yer bum twitch.
[/ QUOTE ]
I know that feeling, I have lost twice whilst combining at the 95% rate after the old school Hami raid.
[ QUOTE ]
Also if you do combine HOs or any enhancements they can then not be traded in WWs.
[/ QUOTE ]
True, but last I heard, at least you now get the correct double Hami inf-rate if you leave it outside of a respec. -

I guess the fact that nobody even does the Hami raid any longer
[/ QUOTE ]
Theres a few Servers in Amerika that still do them once a week
[/ QUOTE ]
Sure, for regular level 50 HOs. But what about the level 52 ones? Where do they come from? I was under the impression that they are no longer awarded on Hamidon Raids, so either the same old ones are re-sold again and again, or there's a new source for them?

Good point, Seeing as though the Auction House is global I guess they must be coming from the U.S.
I find them rather tasty to be honest and prefer to augment my sets slotting in lv 52+ and lv53 Hami's (Dual 38.3% bonuses) as opposed to finishing the slotting of a set with additional meagre set bonuses that I may not need and could be made better use of.
They are certainly in demand still, last Double-XP event a Level 53 Dam/Mez Peroxisome had 92 bids and went for upwards of 92 Million. -

If Geoffreys going -(and you're very lucky)- you may even glimpse his helmet. -
There has been talk, some are going, I think there is a sense somewhat of a dampened enthusiasm... not surprising really in this economic downturn.

Thankyou for all you have done for PvP and for City of Heroes in general Knight Stalker. Take care and maybe in a fair few issues you may feel the need to don the KS spandex again.
