I was very proud of the fact that My level 23 Claws-Stalker 'Wombat Combat' was Union's worst stalker. Poor little critter couldn't even get assassinate right when two Heroes were standing in the Bloody Bay gas/waterworks talking amongst themselves. I don't think they even reacted past smiling at him.... he went off with his tail between his legs.

I just can't play em.

In my experience of Psi Blast on a Blaster, I have to say it suffers as one of the most blatently ported sets with toons having to close to almost within melee range with a power or two, that coupled with the long animation time for a blaster meant levelling a Psi blaster started to feel tiresome after its teens.

And regarding Shannons comments about the Defender Psi powerset being weak for damage: well, current PvP fiasco aside, PvE damage once slotted is fine for me, ok the set does have its inherant hold factor ingrained in it but slotting Will Dom(high), Dominate(high), Telekinetic Blast(moderate) are all around or above 100 damage for me and means nothing short of a 52 Elite Boss is a hurdle (but do-able) leaving only an AV on Inv an Impossibility when soloing.

The trade-off with psi is that it may appear to be taking you longer to take down a foe, but it is one of the few powersets where you can take down an opponent without them even getting a shot off because of the mezzes, holds and sleeps in the sets.

Next, dose your system up to simulate the foggy drowseyness you have with post-op general anesthetic and painkillers as if you were in orthopaedic surgery not 48 hours earlier.
Next, answer a recruitment call for help for a team requiring a Defender anxious to complete the MoSTF after their 3 failed attempts.

Take part in said TF - Complete TF successfully - Collapse from exhaustion.

Then dream up more sadistic ways of challenging oneself.

You're right!, ... and lo, In-time and by default, the Veterans become the l33t players.

Interesting, although NorCal do seem to be bending the rule-set they gave themselves over the Veteran awards/Micro-transaction packs which was that they would not give anyone a competitive edge.

With direct reference to the Veteran Award Scheme that is very true, however that would dictate NCsoft should show no surprise whatsover If Veterans are lost to the competition this (and next) year.
There must be new awards... Indeed new content altogether for those players and their toons who have done everything so far, an Incentive to keep on subscribing.

Well its still there thats for sure.

The basics I consider
#Union Chat: Union's global chat channel for chatting about, well,... pretty much anything really.

#Union Auctioners: (yes, I know they spelt it wrong) Selling stuff/buying stuff and anything else Invention set/salvage related.

#Sal's BadgeHunters: Has taken precedence over Union Badgehunters (which still exists but is rarely used) - for anything Badge-related, includes badge-related missions/events and taskforces.

#Union Taskforce: Taskforces

#Mothership Raid Chat RWZ Mothership Raids

#Union Hamidon Raids: rarely used now, due to lack of raids. Its there for when we do do one.


You'll find cross channel chat going on across most channels and the Mods are pretty tolerant as long as It doesn't impede the function of the chat channel so It cannot operate properly.
