Paragon!, I need the funniest l33t spelling of a Wolverine Clone you've seen or heard of in-game, (I'm not very good at l33t-speak or whatever it is).
Thanks in advance.

Dreaming of ? - no, but I'd be fibbing if I hadn't drifted off to sleep shuffling around slots and set bonus builds in my head.
The only superhero dreams I've had is of flying (which any shrink will tell you is to do with elation) and as often happens in my dream I fly really fast at heights of up to Streetlamp level (20 ft or so) until I soar high to a couple of hundred feet where the impossibility of my dream sneaks into consciousness and I plummet out of the sky as my fly-power cuts out. I believe the falling is supposed to be an embodiment of and fear of failing. (Strangly though I am always able to snap myself out of the dream by concentrating and grimacing Hiro-style just before I hit the ground). -
They already do one!, A Lord Recluse Statuette that is!, and its not bad for £45! - Its certainly a lot better than its predecessor the Statesman one which had awful balancing on a terribly inadequate lug 'n' hole fixing and was prone to falling apart and shattering.
NCsoft should approach someone like 'Gentle Giant' or 'Sideshow Collectables' who both do astounding statues on all sorts of licences. The SuperHero fanbase would lap them up, If they were done by these companies they'd fly out the door (no pun intended) to both Subscribers and general SuperHero fans in my opinion. -

To harness hamster power, the scientists sewed electricity-generating threads one-fiftieth the width of a human hair into a yellow jacket worn by the hamsters as they ran.

*Falls off chair laughing
Seriously! How do Scientists come up with these wacky experiments. I would of paid serious money to of been in attendance for the pitch/initial meetings where they brainstormed this trial run with little Hamster-jackets if only for the pure comedic value.
They need need to hook up the EU.server infrastructure to this little guy!.

In all seriousness where has all the random competitions and that gone? We need them back! Havent seen one announced on these forums for months!
US got like millions going away everyday! Has everybody EU side gotten selfish lately and using it for their own personal needs? We used to rock at competitions, lets bring them back baby yeah!

Don't look at me, I gave everything I had away last October/Nov, but I agree, player-led competitions and Intiatives are always nice!. We have had some nice player competitions in the past, Freshly squished:Friend or Foe, The Supreme Superbeing Awards, X4:Evolution, The Rogue Isles Race - etc.
Heres to 2009 and more great player events!.

Anyone noticed mini-statuettes sneaking into the merchandising section of the PlayNC site? - Ok, so they are on the Guild Wars and Lineage II licences... but still.
Comon NCSoft, The Universe of 'City of' is ripe for a range of mini-statuettes.

Have purchasable Respecs increased in price recently?, I swear the last one I bought (six months or so ago) was £5.99. Now when you go to the PlayNC store the pricing is devoid of either Sterling or Euro Specification and reads: '8.99'! - anyone?
Thanks in advance.

Also, why did mum post without supplying some of her own? I'm nearly dissapointed.

I figured I'd unintentionally put the Community through quite enough Punishment for now. -
I don't think reverse psychology is going to work this time around Chatarsis.

Mmmnn, Giant stomping Nazi war robots. If it the The Fifth for the Fifth anniversary I hope the Devs do/commission a retro-vintage FMV trailer (like the trailers we used to have) before cutting to Modern-day Paragon and in-game Nazi-stompage.
Re: Future Issues and Issue 15 - David Nakayama was hired by NCNC for the specific task of concept artwork for future Issue content and remember, there was also that 'subtle as a brick' clue from Positron:

Issue 14 is all about the Mission Architect. Issue 15 will be centered around the Fifth... Anniversary of City of Heroes.

Thoroughly seconded, I'm sure Its been a hell of a lot less than if I had been subscribed to other MMOs, but still - I'm just not going to go there. Ignorance is bliss. -
Slideshow adverts before the SuperHero films next summer 2010. If my local curry house can afford a selection of screens advertising their restaurant I'm pretty sure NCWest can. Get those free trial discs into cinema foyers for the Marvel superhero fest Summer 2010.
You can bet DC won't miss out on the opportunity, I bet you'll see full-on trailers of DCUO running before the films!. -
Always sad to see a Three-year Veteran leave. Take care and maybe you'll change your mind in the far future and pop back.
Bb for now Static.

I didn't, I was into the SuperHero genre but was not that active on the Internet re: MMO and gaming sites. Pure chance I stumbled upon CoH (1 month after launch) in my local branch of Gamestation, and as I had just returned a game that I was bored with/didn't work with my PC spec I thought I'd give it a try, the character creator info on the back appealed to my creative side. To be honest I half expected to return it the same weekend...

RAAAWR !!!
Seriously though, eventually quite a few players do discover that yes we do in-fact have forums, but yes they should be advertised more on the EU.site and perhaps in the near future a request to Avatea like Steelrat's suggestion may bring about such a feature.
We mention and link via tiny urls to the forums quite a bit on Union Chat, especially lately with all the excitement over the Mission Architect, some people have discovered them that way ie: hearing people talk in-game about organising events and posting on the EU.site. -

A video message saying 'thanks for all your hard work' on the company intranet site

A video?? You're lucky, we got an e-mail and a bloody teddy bear
[/ QUOTE ]
Define the size of this teddy bear . . . . . yes its crucial.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah - it could be one of those huge ones you can cuddle like a real person
[/ QUOTE ]
Awww, that would be a real Kodiak moment! -
Sounds like a great Idea, I'm sure Avatea will be jumping on reorganising the forum sections as soon as she gets her feet under the table stateside.
We already have a Mission Architect discussion Channel setup on Union, we are just waiting for the feature to go live before we populate it. -
Great post from Kitsune9tails across the pond details (and links) some nice new Mission Architect details.
