Official Statement of Intent:
NCsoft, Legal Deadlines work both ways thankyou very much and I have failed to hear back from you regarding my letter sent in reply to your charming 'cease and desist' legal threat.

The Intent for the opening of The City of Kittenz Merchandise Store is therefore officially closed and I will be sharing all artwork files direct with players (out of context of a merchandise store and any selling thereof) and well out of your jurisdiction.

Please note: I cannot and will not condone what players do with said artwork files, and I officially go on record as saying they must not infringe NCsoft's Intellectual Property rights regarding any unauthorized uses of material relating to or resembling City of Heroes characters, items, imagery or copyrighted material (collectively deemed the "Content").

I also request this post is not deleted as it is a official statement of intent and related to any further potential legal defence.

That sounds pretty solid to me. I'd imagine pretty much every 'City of' subscriber will be trying CO, even If its only on a free trial. Cryptic knows this - NCsoft knows this. If anyone is boycotting CO out of some misplaced sense of loyalty because they think NCsoft values you more than just a subscription, I can tell you are living in cloud-cuckoo land. Harsh but true, this is show business not show friends.

Cryptic was instrumental in 'City of Heroes' it would be odd not to be curious about it. People will end up in one of the four Serious adult-orientated Superhero MMOs incoming that suits their playstyle/Imagination/Roleplay needs. End of in my opinion.

Personally I think their judgement was off somewhat, perhaps skewed by the fact that they made the game what it is up to a couple of Issues ago and that up until fairly recently owned part of the IP of the game.

I think this perhaps blurred the moral lines for them, of which they are now being painfully reminded of in the game press.

For both parties I think.

To be honest I didn't equate this with anything other than the usual gold farming companies, but on seeing this article at Massively I am starting to wonder.

Great Idea!, but sadly unworkable for a vast swathe of the gameplay re: animations/emotes etc as mentioned.

I would welcome some disabled NPCs and contacts in wheelchairs to add a sense of realism into the gameworld.

Genius!, that'll have to go in!, although may have to shorten to "Uber Nova to fallen over - since 2005" to fit it in the design space.

I'm heavy for Blaster, Scrapper and Mastermind designs at the mo, any further ones on Defenders, Controllers, Corruptors and Dominators appreciated!.

Considering her father is none other than Mr 'Achey breaky Heart' Billy Ray Cyrus..... I'd have her flagged as a Sonic Corruptor.
