*I love Kinetic Crash IOs as a set but you really should slot one of your attach powers with a straight damage IO set. Knock back is all great fun, but you don't want it so often that even you get sick of the KB. And I think having Power Bolt, Power Blast, Power Burst, and Explosive Blast slotted with KB recipes is a tad too much.

The KB IOs are slotted primarily for the recharge - and the knockback protection. I also left out Healing Aura because it's just not necessary. Oh boy, a 20% heal that recharges in 4 seconds! That sure is useful when I have a 55% heal on a 1 second recharge!

After having leveled a Mace tanker to 50 in the days when both Shatter and CC did high-mag KB, and subsequently being part of the campaign to change it, I can personally attest to how un-useful and IMO, unfun it is for a tank to have two multi-target attacks with KB. I think every tank primary has a least one power that relies on foes being in melee range to do damage, provide damage mitigation or give buffs of some kind; even if used carefully, frequent KB means you won't get as much benefit from those powers than you would otherwise.

I'd suggest revamping the concept from 'Venom-y Claws' to 'Just plain ol' Caustic Toxins'.
Maybe take a Fiery Assault direction with it except it won't copy the damage types of that set and do a combo of Toxic/Fire damage. I think the set should be about melting your foes into puddles...kinda like Magellan.
Funny, Magellan actually has control over how potent his poisons are too. He can produce tear gas, ichy spray or a contagious corrosive toxic ocean that can melt anything away. -
This set would go well with Poisons I think.

Gives your henchmen an additional attack. Bees do not get an attack, but gain significantly increased damage.
8: Toxic Fog - Location Aoe High DoT (Toxic), Foe -Def, -Res, Hold
You exhale a Toxic Fog that damages all who pass through it and can possibly leave them choking uncontrollably.
12: Beetles - Summon 2 Giant Beetles, High Damage (Lethal), Foe Knockdown, Immobilize
Summons two Giant Beetles to aid you. All insects have thick exoskeletons that protect them against Smashing and Lethal damage and their simple minds render them resistant to Psionics.
18: Improved Control - Toggle: Self + Henchmen Mez Protection
You have a mastery over commanding insects, allowing you to protect them from mental domination by others.

Summons a Giant Scorpion to assist you. All insects have thick exoskeletons that protect them against Smashing and Lethal damage and their simple minds render them resistant to Psionics.
32: Mutation - Buff Henchmen
Gives your Henchmen another attack and some defense abilities. Bees gain the ability to split into multiple smaller swarms upon death. -
Remember: only one type of Battle Meditation can be active at a time. So if you used the recovery buff, you would not be able to use the toggles or the build-up until the 120s recharge is over. And if you got Battle Meditation to recharge in under 60 seconds, and used the build up or a toggle while the recovery buff was active, the recovery buff would be removed, a la Secondary Mutation.

This Assault Rifle powerset is reworked to deal better damage and reduce the downsides that make the current set unlikable. The attack powers use only a small amount of endurance, but add a new mechanic that will monitor the amount of ammo used by a weapon. By default, you have 60 ammo to work with. To offset the easily resisted damage, attacks from this set will do Resistance debuffs.
Inherent: Reload - End cost 25, Activation time 3 sec, Replenish Ammo
Reloads the Assault Rifle, replenishing ammo.
1: Quick Shot - Ranged Minor Damage (Lethal), Foe -Def, -Res, -1 Ammo
You shoulder your weapon and fire off a quick snap shot at an enemy. While doing a small amount of damage, this attack is highly accurate and will always lower an enemy's Defense and Resist.
1: Double Tap - Ranged Moderate DoT (Lethal), Foe Disorient, -Def, -2 Ammo
You fire two quick shots at an enemy's center mass. The successive attacks can temporarily stun an enemy.
2: Burst - Ranged High DoT (Lethal), Foe -Def, -Res, -4 Ammo
You fire a burst at a single enemy, possibly lowering their Defense and Resist. This attack expends more ammo than Quick Shot and Double Tap but deals more damage.
6: Laser Sight - Toggle (0.50 end/s): Self +ToHit (15%), +DMG (30%)
You activate your rifle's Laser Sight, allowing you to take more efficient aim at your enemies. While this power does not provide as significant a boost as Aim abilities, it can be kept active for as long as the user has Endurance.
8: Heavy Burst - Cone Moderate DoT (Lethal), Foe Knockdown, -Def, -8 Ammo
Rifle in hand, you spray an area with a quick cone of fire. This attack can knockdown enemies and lower their Defense.
12: Concussion Grenade - AoE High Damage (Smashing/Fire), Foe Disorient, Knockdown, -16 Ammo
You launch a Concussion Grenade from underneath the barrel of your Assault Rifle, dealing good Smashing and Fire damage and disorienting your enemies.
18: Sniper Shot - Sniper Extreme Damage (Lethal), Foe Knockdown, -Def, -Res, -1 Ammo
You aim for several seconds before firing a single shot at a distant enemy, sending them to the ground and reducing their Defense and Resistance.
26: Barrage - Location AoE, Superior Damage (Smashing/Fire), Foe Disorient, Knockdown, -32 Ammo
You launch several concussive grenades into the air, which rain down upon a group of unsuspecting enemies. The repeated explosions are enough to severely Disorient multiple foes and knock them to the ground.
32: Mag Dump - Cone Special DoT (Lethal), Foe Hold, -Def, -Res, -All Ammo
You empty your entire magazine into a group of enemies, severely reducing their Defense and Resistance and leaving them completely unable to respond to your attack for the duration of your assault. (Animation time is 1 second per 10 ammo expended, damage scales accordingly.) -

You can six or five slot it. 5x Decimation and 1x Achilles' Heel proc, or 4x Kinetic Combat and 1x Achilles' Heel proc.

IMO, people should stop whining about knockback, which is an amazingly useful mitigation tool.

A Lethal damage based powerset with a few key differences from others. The biggest one is bleeding damage - this is either an enemy simply bleeding out, a robot leaking oil, a spiritual entity losing its bond to the plane, etc. Bleeding damage is basically a minor DoT that increases in damage and duration the more you hit your enemy with knife attacks. The attacks themselves do little damage - it's the bleeding that will do a fair share of hurt.
1: Throwing Knife - Ranged Minor Damage (Lethal), Foe Slow, High Bleeding
A quick knife toss that deals minor damage, but will slow down your enemy and make them bleed.
1: Toss Dagger - Ranged Moderate Damage (Lethal), Foe Slow, Moderate Bleeding
This heavier version of the throwing knife will deal more damage and bleeding and slow your enemy.
2: Rapid Toss - Cone Minor Damage (Lethal), Foe Slow, High Bleeding
You send multiple knives flying towards a group of enemies. Struck foes will take damage as well as bleeding.
6: Focused Accuracy - Toggle Self +ToHit
You concentrate on hitting your opponent more accurately.
8: Flaming Dagger - Ranged High DoT (Fire), Foe Slow, Minor Bleeding
You toss a flaming dagger that deals great damage to an enemy. However, the fire cauterizes the wound, causing little bleeding.
12: Shuriken Sweep - PBAoE Moderate Damage (Lethal), Foe Slow, Moderate Bleeding
You throw several shuriken in a circle around you, striking nearby enemies and causing them to suffer some bleeding damage.
18: Pommel Strike - Ranged Minor Damage (Smashing), Foe Disorient
You chuck a knife at an enemy, striking them in the head with the pommel. It deals little damage, but will knock your enemy silly for a period of time.
26: Exploding Shuriken - Aoe Moderate Damage (Lethal), Foe Disorient, Moderate Bleeding
You toss a shuriken into a group of enemies which explodes in mid-air, sending shrapnel flying everywhere. The explosion itself can disorient an enemy.
32: Throwing Frenzy - PBAoE Extreme Damage (Lethal), Foe Hold (mag 3), Fear (mag 4), Extreme Bleeding, Self -Endurance, -Recovery
Summoning great effort, you launch yourself into a frenzy, swiftly and lethally tossing daggers, knives and shuriken into every enemy around you. This attack takes a great deal of time to complete, but it will leave all enemies completely unable to attack you as they are turned into pincushions. Even those who shrug off the impacts will still be frozen in fear at your violent assault. After you have exhausted your supply of knives, you will be drained of all endurance and unable to recover endurance for a period of time. -
The idea is that your raw determination and the look in your eye is enough to scare the bejeezus out of some lesser enemies.
The idea is that you're crippling your enemy's mobility with a well-placed throwing knife. -
My focus was on recharge, not defense. I can slot the tank to provide a great amount of smash/lethal def (your build looks a lot like mine in that aspect), but I wanted to see if I could perma-hasten it. It wasn't really meant to be a top choice for use - it was more of a thought experiment, honestly.

Choose between -DMG, -Regen or extra toxic DoT to be applied to all attacks. Default effect is -Def.
16: Power Boost: Self +DMG, +Venom Effects
You concentrate for a few seconds, greatly increasing the amount of damage you do as well as improving the effects of your secreted venom. Additionally, your effects such as Holds and Immobilizes are slightly improved.
20: Gouge - Melee High DMG (Lethal), Foe -Tohit, -Per, Disorient (50% Chance)
Claw at an enemy's eyes, leaving them blinded and possibly disoriented. Uses Spines Impaler animation.
28: Fend Off - Melee Superior DMG (Lethal/Toxic), Venom Effect
A wide-angled strike to slash at all enemies in front of you. Uses Spines Ripper animation.
35: Poison Bomb - AoE Moderate DoT (Toxic), Venom Effect
Spit poison into a canister, then throw it into a group of enemies. Uses grenade throwing animation.
38: Toxic Fog - PbAoE Superior DoT (Toxic), Foe Hold (50% chance)
Breathe out a deadly toxic fog that deals heavy damage. All who pass through will have a chance of choking uncontrollably. Uses Fire Breath animation. -

With Soverign Right, I can get a 10% bonus to all of my resistances after my toggles/set bonuses? Mids is telling me that right now I'm at 35% S/L and 31% Psi. So with that IO I would have 45% S/L and 41% Psi putting me at the soft cap and pretty close to the psi cap?

They were great! I love the richness of the color. FUSION used to be the number 2 VG on the Protector Server, did loads of raids, had a ton of fun making comics and movies. Unfortunately, it slowly died as we had an loss of players from the game, then it wasnt the same. We had a great run though. Now Warface has wandered into the Virtue Dimension. Hopefully he can find a new home
