I'm looking for a variety of shots of VEATS. Everybody's talking about them but nobody's posting pics of them.

and unless you hang out in co-op zones, Heroes don't get to see them much.

they are actually different characters that bear and uncanny resemblence to signature heroes.

according to some Church myths, the spear was the only thing that could kill Longinius before the Second Coming of Christ. It's also told that becaus the spear was bathed in the Blood of Christ, it gave the holder powers of command over other people.

Some of this was shown in the short lived T.V. show "Roar" which starred Heath Ledger before he hit it big.

Casca was actually the inspiration for my character. I read some of the Casca books in high school and I enjoyed them very much. I've also learned that Casca (or Longinus) is an "unofficial" legend in the Church.

I just tweaked it that some other party was responsible for the Curse causing my Character to be immortal.

Gideon, I have no problem with you. Your character concept rubbed me the wrong way initially but that was just knee-jerk reaction. I think I'm mature enough to admit I was being silly.

There are legitimate things in the world to get wound up about than someone writing a story for a game

it seems like City is trying to play catch up with other games based on Fantasy content. I know there have been fantasy elements throughout and fantasy is no stranger to comics but it's never been a real FOCUS. In a sense, it seems like they are trying to cash in on the popularity of fantasy based games.

Originally, there were 2 pets: The Faeries. Then someone (may even have been me, I don't remember) brought up the fact that Faeries won't match everyones concepts and so, the Wisps were born. Then, someone suggested the Drones for Tech types and at the last minute the Oscillators were tossed in. All told, a more classic example of Feature Creep you will never find!

So, since there were only two pets originally, there were only 2 powers made. I didn't have time to make 6 more powers to match the new entities.

As for why they are so fragile, let's just say if they were at all "tough" I could exploit them horrendously. So, they are fragile. They CAN be kept alive if you are a ranged AT, but melee types will have a hard time of it.
