Yes all around. My level 50 gets level 50 recipes. My level 42 gets like, 45s or something when I kill a level 50 in Bloody Bay. I guess while in a pvp zone you get recipes 3 levels higher then your level but not higher then 50.

Also, I believe you need to be at least 3 levels in the Arena to get a chance for a recipe. Might have to check up on that. This theory is not something I'm sure on. PvP Zones qualify each kill for a recipe while Arena matches require players to be within a certain level range from each other. A level 50 killing a level 1 repeatedly for recipe drops wouldn't be good.

I keep editing. Lol! I just want to point out that it is *BEST* to get levle 50 PvP recipes. Anything under that is never going to be worth as much as the level 50 version unless it is a "chance to do xxx damage or xxx effect" because bonuses carry with you through times when you are exemplared or malefactored. Sooo.... I guess what I'm trying to say is: If you aren't farming with a character that can get level 50 PvP Recipes, don't expect to sell it for much unless it is a MUCH needed recipe. 50s are gold.

I opened this thread in hopes of someone crying about someone else dropping a respec recipe (Like deleting or throwing away).

I was going to laugh and be like, "I dunno who does that! What an idiot! I hope you filled them in on what they just did!"

One of your SG members might go crazy and start killing everyone at any moment even though you've created an agreement to take turns fighting for pvp recipes. I've considered it multiple times when I farm in the Arena.

Risk in the Arena = none.

Being in pvp is a risk.

And no, macros can not be set to auto activate. If you use the method above though, you won't lose target when she rezzes unless you press a different attack while she is dead. In that case, it'll target the next near enemy.

Have one of you go to bloody bay and sit next the NPCs that sell inspirations and spam purchasing and using awakens while the other is attacking. You can get 448 kills an hour using that method... How many drops you get is 100% random though. You can do this method on both hero and villain sides. Just get flight so you know where you can go to get out of agro range / find a spot that is safe to kill but still be right next to the Inspiration NPC.

448 kills per hour (This is me killing a Controller with my Corruptor) can turn out into a pretty good profit. There are tons of people doing it in multiple servers. Otherwise, I'd stick to only cage matches.

Then I retract my vote. Information on this not being a win/win situation was late. I vote nothing. Let them continue with the view they currently have. I'll move to a new MMORPG when I start to dislike where this game is headed. As of right now I enjoy it to it's fullest.

My interest for his seperate account also lies on getting myself some PvP recipes for my 50 brute, so it isn't quite a one sided reason. ^^ Often, I can't find someone to PvP in the arena who is willing to die repeatedly on the times we play.

Mmm! I thought that would be a bit confusing some how. We don't expect to play at the same time. We're just running out of room on Pinnacle for us both to create characters so he wants his own account.

I'll vote for Base Raids and CoP before new content. There are still items promoting Base raids in my base and I can't even use them. They are just existing for... I don't know what?

If both fixing and creating content can be balanced equally, I'd approve of this.

I hear about people dual boxing often and I'm thinking of giving in & purchasing a 2nd account for my boyfriend and for myself. Before I commit to such a thing, I need to ask some questions to gain a better understanding.

Is it possible to do this on one single computer? We only have one computer at our loft and when I try to load up City of Heroes it tells me one is running already.

Perhaps someone can explain a method to do this so I can give it a shot? Ooor... If it isn't, that'd be great to know also. My goal is to have both accounts online at the same time while using one computer.

I was logged off for 7 days and came back to 56 spam emails. That is ridiculous and annoying. If we can't stop the spammers from spamming, then why not give us the ability to turn it off?

In over 5 years of playing CoX, I have received a grand total of 0 emails from legitimate players.

I see no need for email other than to allow spammers a way to advertise to me. I personally, want my email disabled.

One of the cons of this game is that people try to post "I'm leave, MA ruined the game" threads into the forums and convince new players such as yourself not to play the game. If you ever see one, type "you" followed by a random expletive into the quick reply box and hit send. They are stupid and don't know what they are talking about.

On a plus note: My opinion of Loot in CoH are Purple Recipes. They have a 1/5000 chance of dropping. PvP recipes are another version of loot. You can get millions (Or billions. Pinnacle just recieved it's first 1 billion infamy recipe) of Influence/infamy.

Hero side seems a bit more populated then villains on my server. Keep that in mind Happy hunting. I just thought I'd add a little something.

My guess is that they removed html from the character descriptions.

(The following is just my opinion...) Hopefully when we get it back they will allow us to spice up our descriptions a bit with html. Possibly a reward for having to sit on our accounts with no desire to make character descriptions anymore because of the huge [censored] block of text we'll end up creating.

Like always, I'm going to 5 star this [censored] thread. Every character description thread I come across I 5 star. It needs to get fixed already. It's not even fixed on issue 15's test server.
