    Considering the really nice changes to the archery and trick arrow set to animation times, it makes me wonder why assault rifle wasnt changed, which was and is much more unblanced than ta or archery ever was.

    Comparing assault rifle to other sets, the damg is lower the end cost AND recharge much higher and the animation time almost tripple to other sets.

    I serious dont think you even know power normalisation recently done, and by FAR not the true potention of AR. (trust me, i can outdamage many people with my AR).

    If you outdamg so many ppl with your AR you must be teaming with really bad player
    This thread isnt about AR btw,try post you comments there and i will show you in numbers why your statement is totally false

    Never said it wasnt, but if you look again you will see i said tohitbuff.................. and thats a huge difference, if you dont think so try slotting tohitbuffs in your normal attacks instead of acc.

    OMG

    This whining really makes me angry.
    There are so MANY powers in the game that are totally broken and underperforming to the degree of uselessness and you whine about a change to rage, eat some blues if you low on end.

    Let me see, RAGE gives:

    80% dmg buff thats TWO lvl 50 dmg IOS you can theoretically skip in your powers and STILL be about same as all other sets.

    31% tohitbuff thats 1 lvl 50 acc IO you can skip in ALL powers.

    SO this let you slot 3 end reducers in your attacks if you have end issues.

    No other selfbuff in the whole game this overpowered, so stop whining about it beeing changed especially if its not a nerf but only an adjustment to auras......

    Although 3 would be too strong, no MM has a mezz power in their primairy. I would go for the trow knife power or sortlike.

    There are so many cool powers in the game only possesed by Npcs, which makes you wonder why they dont make them available for players, cause it wouldnt take much time to do so since the code is already there.

    Well....
    What do you think about a carnie mm ?
    Pets are already ingame which would make it easier to code.

    Maybe somthing like this:

    1. Spectral wounds (from illusion set)
    2. Call Harlekin Juggler/Fencer
    3. Blind or Deceive (from illusion set)
    4. Cruel joke (1st upgrade)
    5 Mad laughter (something like shockwave from sonic)
    6. Call Strongmen or Seneshall
    7. Summon Phantasm decoy (like decoy from the illusion phantasm minor dmg but invul)
    8. Call Master Illusionist or Ring Mistress
    (the debuffs on them need to be toned down aswell as the summoning abilities)
    9. Deadly Joke (final upgrade)
  6. While deciding which controller to make next i played a bit with hero designer and noticed something....

    With group invis, weave, combat jumping, steaming mist and frozen armor all slotted 3 defense IOs you can reach 39,2% S/L defense and 18% defense to everything else which can be even further buffed through set boni.
    With maneuvers you can even get 45% S/L and 24% to everything else.
    Coupling that with 47% acc debuff from hurricane i think there wont be much that will be able to hit you.
    This seems to be even better defense overall than brute or stalker /EA and close to non elude /SR scrappers.

    Any idea if such a build will be any good ?
  7. I play /fa brutes for quite a long time now, but since the last patch plasma shield seems to be broken cause i get mezzed and stunned all time.
    1 lousy minion can stun me with 1 hit now, like legacy of chain minions, council minions etc.
    Anybody else noticed this ?

    As I see it, it's the only team oriented secondary in the MM sets - and that I like - I am *the* support person! Other sets are either solo oriented or good for both. But sometimes I really wonder how the devs thougth when they did what they did.

    (and btw, my "crazy" build usually turn out to be rather good once the nerfs sets in!)

    Aehm Poison is by far the least team oriented secondary of all MM secondaries cause almost all powers are single target.
    That leaves Antidote and Elixir of life on the team oriented part, powers that most peaople skip anyways.

    I needed to decide between Thugs/ TA or/Traps.

    I searched all US and EU forums for damg numbers on lightened Oil slick and didnt find anything.

    So can anybody tell me how much damg a burning Oil Slick from Oil Slick Arrow does ?
