I never realized until this day how much I needed a furry bra.

Quote:Well, I never really met many people in game who knew it. I seemed to always run into the people on freedom who never bothered to read the bios.I've always been a little surprised that the Cole family pancake recipe didn't garner more critical attention from the game industry. You'd think that sort of thing would get talked about, but it's been pretty well ignored.
That said, it was not a pleasant discovery for me.
Have they taken it out? I don't remember seeing it mentioned in-game lately. -
Thank you for doing this!

Quote:I'd like to see a variation with rocks, except as I say that it occurs to me that it would be hard to pretend you're not destroying Paragon's roads.Again, no one's saying we couldn't do an iceslide. But I'll have to respectfully disagree with you about where the idea originates. Forming a persistant slide of ice and then sliding around on its leading edge is quite closely associated with Iceman. Have there been other iceslides since? Sure, but Iceman came first. Is that a problem? No. Superman was the first flying hero, but he's far from the only one these days. Could we make our own, significantly different iceslide in COH? Sure, I think so. I'm sure we could dream up something unique on the concept side, and I'm sure Tunnelrat could bring it to life beautifully in 3D. Could we make an iceslide EXACTLY like Iceman's? Probably, but I'd personally rather come up with a new spin on it.

Darwin's Empath: Realizing that no, no this time you're not going to chase that scrapper down.

Phenomenal cosmic super strength! Teeny tiny damage resistance.

Quote:Well, I didn't even realize when I was reading that 'pancake' wasn't your original censor word! I mean, it was pretty obvious you wouldn't be affronted at pancake.Gah, been in a 5 hour meeting and didn't know the thread got moded. Sorry 'bout that Mod7 >.<
Anyway, yeah, it doesn't have the same impact as the original letter but at least a few of ya got to read the director's cut. This community rocks btw.
Good story. I remember being helped out on freedom years ago when I first got started, so good memories triggered by this story.
I didn't cuss at anyone, though.
Quote:That was a nice story, especially since I got chewed out this evening by a fellow vet for answering questions in the Help channel. I was told that "don't talk in Help unless you need help." How one is supposed to respond to requests for help via tells when trial accounts (the only ones who seem to use Help) can't receive them is beyond me. -
Congrats! I need to check this arc out!

Quote:Someone posted her concept art on the board a bit back and I remember thinking 'that's actually quite nice', which isn't something I expected to think about little miss-one hit from a mile away. What's really annoying is that Bobcats concept art had her with black stripes that helped break up the suit a little, and better hair. That seemed to get lost when they handed it over to Jay. Which...irks me.
Seconding! That's one of the coolest features of the seers, it'd be nice to see it added to Hami. -
I have a reason for them all!
Reichsman! He's fifth column, right? Their ubermensch-thingermadoodles are like, ten feet tall. They must have just given him some too.
And Battle Maiden? If she comes from a horrible dimension like that, there's a chance she was just malnourished as a child and thus smaller.
Marauder is tall with RAGE. It's how he scares predators away, sort of like how a pufferfish inflates itself? -
Why do I want to spend my money so much? I'm a pathetic monkey to capitalism.
Quote:Oh my GOD yes. I won't have to play computer tag to do my character arcs! (I have two and I will never remember to send one file to the other one)Added: unlimited AE arc slots (cost unknown at this point)

"It's instance-tastic!" <-- that's a major selling feature for me or something about how you feel like you're the star of the game because of how the arcs are written.

Quote:That's true. He's kind of their mascot. Cute little powerless guy. He's also comically small. That's worth at least a bit, to my mind.
Quote:'Adorable'? Is that some sort of code-word for "Ow, damn, stop shooting me! Gah, they're everywhere! KILL THEM WITH FIRE!!"?
Wyvern are anything but adorable...
Quote:BaBs got 3 full issues to himself in the 2nd series--not your cup of tea?
He's still totally my fave, though. and I guess Manticore is kinda fun too because him shooting Statesman in the chest and States' reaction after was pretty funny -

Welcome to the game! The good cash common salvage is the stuff you get in the twenties and thirties.
Sorry, everyone else had such good advice so I had to think of something on the fly. -

Quote:I think you've successfully pinpointed why I like Mother Mayhem.Mother Mayhem - I really like her costume, and i love her "motherly way". I think shes a great character.
Also, total agree on Swan needing more feathery stuff or at least more stuff to her costume. -
It helped me discover that adblock lets you block a picture only when it's linked on a specific site (under the advanced tab). Which is good, because as pictures go, it was inoffensive and I'd like to see it on DA proper.
