I see on the patch notes that the Troller PFF has been swapped with FA. Fair enough.
So I log in one of my doms with PFF and what do I find....the black villainous pff icon has turned into the green blaster pff icon. And guess what/...I can't use it.

I just thought that maybe Candle ought to go back and edit out the sarcasm, flat out assertions, and automatically refuting of any suggestions contrary to his clearly superior play style.
Let’s start with your comment about ranged def. Candle, are you running your mouth and keyboard without reading again? Did he mention he was building for ranged def? I think not. Yes, the build has a high range defence bonus..Does that mean he is specifically building for it? Don’t think so. But hey..It was another criticism you could make..and they make you feel all tough right?
One slot in sb? Glad to see your a team player too Candle. So when that fore storm troller running hot feet, snow storm, and steamy mist runs out of end, you get to tell him his build MUST suck, since your SB is awesome enough for everyone else.
Kins should not be sitting in melee? Hey Mr 10k posts..ever heard of this build..fire kin trollers? Ever seen them stay out of melee? No? That’s right! I’m glad you feel confident that the way you play kins should be applied to everyone..better get the devs to ban kins from entering melee at all I guess. The very fact the heal is melee means you need to enter melee to get the benefit.
Also, did you read the bit about the OP teaming with a dom or scrapper? So he wouldn’t be soloing and need the crappy bitter freeze would he? Running your mouth again..this is getting to be a common thing with you. If he was with a scrapper, he could easily stack FR while that aggros him, if it’s a dom, well, the dom would hold it. Same applies for ID. Not a big deal? Id can save a held squishy, of but that not a big deal is it, cause your assuming they are awesome like you and have huge ranged defence I guess.

Maybe you need to realise that someone else having a different play style does not make it wrong.

The Stop 30 fir bolg mission..
The RWZ mission, I think its from the dark watcher, with hostages that are totally crazy and try to solo mobs, only to die..making it fail
The mission with Widdershins, the crazy archnoid EB..that my fort couldnt even kill on 0/0
A rescue from Phipps I think..were the bane spider you are meant to rescue always seems to die, before you ever get there.
But the worst is the Arachnos base map, with the GIANT multi level room, and you have to clear it all.

Can we bring in the Guyver SG way of recruitment? Granted the SG has since died, but there was a time recently when you could not go to a zone redside on Freedom, without hearing one of their spam sessions. And woe to any other sg's who were trying for members at the same time..they would get shouted down and abused.
I remember joining an ITF through a friend, with the leader of the sg having the star. He spent the whole time talking about how awesome his build was, and when I said one thing is praise of MY build (I think I solo'd a boss or something..I win the Game), he starts in saying how I should pvp him and see a good build..
Also, on the first mission, literally 2 seconds in, I get a tell asking if I want to join 'a really cool sg'. I didnt even read who it was from, just said no thanks. Then I see its from teh leader..Naturally the best way to get sg members is to spam invites without seeing someone play. Not to mention I was clearly IN an sg already.

Same. Even more stupid, I have global friends currently ON freedumb and virtue...So wtf is going on. And I was happily on freedom myself when I mapserver'd and now cant get back on.
Oh well, in typical genius dev style, it is ONLY the two most popular servers that are doing it..

I have the purple pet proc in my fire imps atm. I found another thread saying that it doesnt actually work in imps, cause they spawn at 49.
However...I just summoned my imps, and got the BU icon...for ME! Yes, thats right..for me. Not for my imps..the power its actually slotted in. Seriously, considering the amount of fire control builds out there, and they still cant make it work properly?

However...I have done 10 Tips on my dom, as a villain. I did the Morality mission, also as a villain. When it finished, I got 50 normal merits...and..thats it. So NOW if I do another morality mission, as vill, I get the Villain merit? Not normal merits?

Im sure this has been asked..and I know I read it somewhere, I think. But, in regards in teh special merits, that you use to buy the pvp ios etc...can they ve earnt in any way besides buying them with 20 mil/50 normal merits?

Awesome, totally typical. New issue..yay..what fun. Laggy as hell due to server load. Then..in my evening, when its less full...after FOUR hours playing on freedom, i log off to swap. 10 mins later...DB server error. So, I go to virtue, to get some rogue points on a toon. I get 2 missions down...mapserver. Go to log back in..uh o, dbserver error.
Would be lovely if they actually you know..posted, saying the servers were going down.
Oh and no..cant even log in, get that ****** generic 'cant concet' msg.

Tanks for the info..I just love how the proc has been around for how long..and its still broken? especially considering how many fire kin trollers there are. And fire doms. I am going to petition for a free respec, since if they cant be bothered to post a list of known bugs, I dont think I should suffer wasting a respec on something that doesnt work..and surely cant be that much effort to fix.

Does anyone know or can confirm the BU proc works? I slotted it in my imps (dom obviously, not MM, but I firgure you guys would know) and checking all the pet combat logs..nothing is showing. Does it just have no message? Or it is just broken?

This is getting silly. Twice today Freedom has gone down. Its been laggy as hell all day. Talk to friend on virtue..same there. Then..she tells me pinnacle has gone down. Then global channels went down. yay, fun. I check teh server status on the coh site..virtue is currently down..even though I am on it. Awesome. I haxzord it. So..back to freedom, server maint msg pops up..30 mins. 3 mins later, mapserver error, freedom is down, again.

Is there any concrete reason for this crap? I have been have some ISP issues, and Id love to blame them, but I really cant when everyone I know has been laggy as hell the last few days. Id ask support..but they would send me the same reply they always do.

Also..FIX the bloody entry to Cim? Please. And I really dont want to hear about ways around it..just having it fixed, when they brag about it being fixed in the patch notes would be super cool.

'6 Years and still DC'ing'. Badge title ala 6 years and going storng yellow player titles that everyone has atm.

'Pocket D Skank' Accolade. Started up at least 10 (20 maybe?) 'erp' sessions in pocket D.

'PvP idiot' Badge. Having performed a set amount of idiotic things in a pvp zone, such as droning, ganking and claiming to be super leet, etc.

'AE baby' Accolade power that is ALWAYS ON. You get this from going to ae at lvl 1 and hitting 50 there. Basically..it makes you unable to join any team, or invite anyone, with that toon. Also a big flashing 'kick me' sign on your back

Some interesting ideas. And well presented. Not saying they would work/be logical....but I also don't like having to take 3 specific powers in a build..before I even start to plan it. I have builds without travel powers (and no, I don't have the ninja pack, ninja run looks retarded) but I do not think I could handle one without stamina.
Remember though Zortel...those 3 fitness powers, assuming One slot in swift/hurdle, Two in health(for uniques) and Four in stamina (3shifters +proc) also have the effect of 'giving' you slots for your other powers. Sure..maybe if we got a fitness like inherent, that would mean 3 extra powers, but it sure as hell would not be 3 fully slotted powers would it? I actually quite like picking hurdle, and knowing those 2 slots the next level go to something that will be of much much greater benefit.
I like your ideas though. Especially the lower recharge. Granted, I hardly think the lvl 1-20 content is the most played, but one major reason no one wants to do it is because..it sucks. It is damn awful and annoying to have to rest every few mobs cause your running out of end. Sure..you could go and buy lvl 10,15,20 sos and ios, but they will be useless in about 60 mins. 60 mins...thats 20 recharges of everyones fav power..Rest!
Another thing I think would work is....change Walk. Now Walk. what a bleep bleep useless power. Really. As much as I like seeing some scanty *** wander round Pocket D on Virtue (and where else is it used to a large extent??) it does..nothing. Turn it into Zor's out of combat regen/recover buff. Perfect..low level toon..running out of end..turn on Walk and stroll like a catwalk model to the next mob, arriving with (maybe) full end and hp.

So..the bug for entering Cim is fixed? Then WHY did I just enter..and get stuck? AGain? Really, good stuff. Then I zoned out via the vet base tp...and spawned UNDER my base. I assumed since I was in the floor when I left Cim.

I agree with dog..the message was very fast and hard to see in a burning room..at least for me. I didnt get what it said till the second time.
And whats with telling me to pay attention to the signs? I saw them. I figured they were for his drain. Not that it NEEDS a sign. When I get slapped for 95% end on an elec, I can just make the connection that he cheats and I need to dance around him.
And yes..the arc was full on non standard stuff, and I liked that. I am also used to special opponents doing weird things. Still doesnt explain why his drain is just crazy. And doesnt it heal him for some huge amount, ever as an eb?
Also..just like to mention. I asked a friend about the arc on redside. He did it on a brute, stayed in melee the entire time, and said he barely noticed the drain doing anything tio his end, he just moved away to stop the healing

I have just been playing the new Heroside arcs..very cool stuff. But I was wondering how everyone else went against Protean.
I was running it with a spines elec scrapper at +2 diff, so a +2 elite boss.
I went in to smack him about..saw him hit his EA toggles (very cool, about time we got stuff other than silly invul's) and then he hit his drain... At first, I wasnt worried. I am used to being an elec, sitting in a mob of 20 dying carnies, with 3 dark ring miss's debuffs on me, running X toggles, and my end wont move an inch.
Not so fighting Mr Pro here. BAM, 95% end, gone. Instantly. Say wtf pls? 70% recovery defbuff res, 60% end drain res......and he does that? Are we being serious? I can imagine say a wp running in and getting hit..and detoggled instantly. Of course, once I realised he would do that, I just kited the sneaky thing, but still.

Anyone fought him as an av?
Anyone elese has end vanish against him?
Is it a realistic value for his drain?? Especially vs an elec.
