The list thus far:
1. Kunoichi Kyo-chan, 50 Inv/SS/Energy tank
2. Scrappy
3. Shot Hot, 50 Fire/Fire/Elec (Bellpei)
4. Blazing Blue -
Some of them (the Shard TFs, I know) we'll probably try for half on Tuesday, half on the following Wednesday.
I would like to work my way over to the villain SFs eventually, but first I need a villain higher than level 5. >.< Hopefully by the time we finish all the TFs, I will be in a position to start running SFs. -
When he posted that, Vor, the TF I had listed was Synapse. I actually changed that part of the post a minute after i listed it, but he was too fast for me!
-
If anyone on the team has stealth, then yes, we'll be stealthing where applicable unless otherwise agreed by the team...I don't want to prolong the agony any more than anyone else does, lol.

I was checking out my badges today and I noticed that somehow I've managed to not do the majority of the TFs in CoH. Since I'm finding myself in need of merits anyhow, I've decided to run one task force a week, starting at Positron and working my way down the list from there. I will be including the Ouroboros and Shadow Shard TFs.
This will be every Tuesday at 8 pm EST starting this upcoming Tuesday, April 14th. If you're interested in running Positron with me then, please let me know by PMing me, sending me a tell (@ Kyo-chan) or posting below and I'll add you to the list. The minimum number of people to run this TF is 3 and it gives out 64 merits. The natural level range for this is 10-15.
EDIT: Changed the TF to posi because I haven't done it (oops!) and corrected the number of merits. -
Archiviste, I LOVE the MArc idea. Have one volunteer run with a group of 7 lowbies or something.
We need a story, though...hmmm...breaking up a gang war? I know there's a canon mish that lets you do that in perez, but it's so much more fun when the groups are actually fighting. xD -
I think this is a good idea. However, as (I think!) Wolfie pointed out, we need to make it less complicated and less of a headache for all involved.
How about a BIG costume contest in Pocket D, an "intro to PvP" FFA (can be done after the CC), a bio contest (can be done at the same time as the CC or just after) and maybe the badge thing again, since those were the popular events (I think).
Thoughts? We still have WAY more than enough prize money for this. And Kult, how is your Lotto going? -
Awesome! *flops down at Saint's feets*

Synopsis: Steampunk Charlie has been kidnapped! Find Kunoichi Kyo-chan and help her rescue her mentor!

I actually like this. Our SG's founder has stepped down from day-to-day leadership duties (like recruiting) but still acts as our base editor, as a mentor to the other leaders and the members, and as a negotiator in SG disagreements. We wanted to create a "Founder" rank for him as the top rank, but couldn't do it without having all the other leaders quit the SG and rejoin. Now he'll have the rank he deserves and we won't have to go through the hassle of reformatting all our ranks. Thanks, NC!

((I have a combination of CoX-burnout and writer's block. Don't worry about me, I'll jump back in ASAP. It's kinda why I came up with a reason for Akemi to wander out of the main story.))

Kultie got her Lotto moneys so all is well there.
I've been drawing funds at random to host costume contests under Atlas-I've done I think2, with a third to be held tonight.
No one else has let me know what moneys they need.
Oh, and in case it's not obvious, I'm back ingame. -
"Don't worry about it," Akemi grinned. "It's coming out of my slush fund." She turned to Bill. "Um...sure, I guess you can come with. We might be a while, but I could probably use the help carrying stuff anyhow." With a wave, she slid out the door. "We'll be back in a bit...if Pax comes back, let her know where we headed off to, please?"
-
"Okay...well...pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives. Right? And hot wings. And do we need more drinks?" Akemi turned to Sam, adding, "Sorry to kind of take over, but it looks like we'll be staying for dinner, if that's okay with you, and I don't want to be a drain on your groceries...especially not after I made you drop some of them."

Chatper Six of Shift is up. How are the parents dealing with the kids' disappearance?
First part of Snap Play is up in the RP section. -
A scream rang out through the cool night air as she tumbled to the ground, struggling madly against her attacker. His friend, already pinning her arms behind her, clapped his other hand over her mouth. Eyes wide, she stared into the face of the massive man in front of her, silently begging, please, please dont do this to me, please leave me alone and go, but she knew there would be no hope, no help.
A chuckle sounded behind her as the man in front of her leered at her, practically drooling, as he began to unbuckle his belt, as he began to move closer to her, closer
NOOOOOOOOOOO! she screamed, sitting bolt upright in bed. Panting in terror, she clutched the sheets to her chest in a futile effort to protect herself from her nightmare. She reached one shaking hand over and hit the snooze button on her blaring alarm clock, stopping its noise.
She settled her glasses onto her face and sighed. Nightmares again. Eventually, they told her, the nightmares would stop, she would be able to sleep normally again. Of course, for that to happen, she would have to stop reading before bed
With this thought still in her mind, she glanced over at the clock, then shrieked again, this time in annoyance instead of fear. Im LATE! she cried, throwing off the blankets and jumping out of bed.
She mumbled to herself as she rooted through her disorganized bedroom for clothes, finally settling on a clean pair of khakis and a shapeless green sweater she found between a stack of books and the wall. Heading into the bathroom, she brushed her teeth and eyed her frizzy brown hair critically, then grabbed her hairbrush from on top of another book and threw it back in a ponytail.
Feed the dog, she muttered, moving towards the kitchen of her tiny apartment, feed the cat, feed the fish, feed me Distracted, she stuffed a granola bar into her mouth as she poured out her respective pets food. Now you be good today, she admonished them. No peeing on the carpet, Sadie. Jazzy, be nice to Sadie-no clawing the couc hagain either! And Fizz you just do what you do, okay? The animals steadfastly ignored her as they ate, and she sighed again and grabbed her keys.
Ill see you after work. Remember, be good! No chewing on my books! I love you, goodbye!
Bolting out the door and remembering to lock it behind her for once, she ran down the stairs, then ran back upstairs, unlocked the door, grabbed her purse, yelled Bye! again and ran back down to the street.
Of course, then she had to go back up and lock the door again.
Back down on the sidewalk for the third time, she pulled her mp3 player out of her purse and plugged it into her ears as she walked briskly down the street towards Paragon University. The opening strains of November Rain filed her head, and she changed songs in disgust. Its not November, its only February sure feels like November though she muttered to herself.
Ten minutes later, she ran up the steps and into the building, stuffing her mp3 player back into her purse just in time to be confronted by one of the Professors.
Late again, Jodie? the man smiled as he stepped aside, waiting for her to pass.
Sorry, sir, no time to talk! Those books wont shelve themselves, you know!
Jodie headed into the library and swerved into the head librarians office, dropping off her purse and coat and punching in. Fortunately, her boss was out of town. She pulled her nametag from her purse and pinned it onto her sweater.
Jodie Wilkins, Assistant Librarian, she read off it, as she did every day. Taking a deep breath, she pasted a smile on her face, grabbed a cart, and headed out to work. -
Kyo (Kunoichi Kyo-chan, my main) lives in the Defenders of Time base, only partly because her mentor doesn't trust her to live out on her own (I don't blame him). Her hobbies involve annoying other members of the Defenders by moving things around while they're out, accompanying Steampunk Charlie on missions, and recruiting for the Defenders of Time. She can't cook (burns down the kitchen), can't clean (can but won't, rather), and is essentially useless...but she's darn cute and throws a decent party.
Akemi Ai doesn't "live" anywhere. She's an insomniac, but when she does sleep, she's prone to finding a handy bench and napping on it if she's too far from base to make it in before she drops. She spends a lot of her time in Steel Canyon pestering Serge or attending classes at the University.
Snap Play lives in Steel Canyon, in a small apartment. She has a dog, a cat, and a fish who all get along very well when they want to. When she's not fighting crime, she's collecting and reading any books she can get her hands on. She's also been known to read while fighting crime, depending on her teammates. -
((Time to play catch-up!))
"The contents of this house are what keep multiplying...I'll be back, guys, nobody go anywhere. Anyone have a problem with pepperoni and hot wings?" Akemi asked, scooping her satchel onto her back and tightening the straps. -

ARCHETYPE: Defender
POWERS: Empathy/magic blast (radiation blast ingame)/dark mastery
SERVER: Protector
SUPERGROUP & RANK: The Teamsters, President
The unpredictable Snap Play is a woman of many sides. Formerly a librarian, she was turned into a four-foot-tall faerie. She then discovered that her soul was linked inexorably with Blackrazur, and became his partner; shortly after that, the faerie prince Alaric Stormwarden came into her life and became her sidekick and, later, her boyfriend. Snap is quick to anger and slow to trust; she is just as likely to heal a fallen friend as she is to berate them for putting themselves in harm's way. Thanks to the sacrifices of her friends and lovers, she has been granted immortality, although she may never be human again; she can be defeated/knocked out/wounded/beaten, but a spark of life always remains, and she can regenerate (although it takes time). Other known abilities include a strong mental connection to Blackrazur which allows her to tap into his dark abilities, the ability to summon her friends and allies over a distance, and flight. Although she can turn herself transparent (not invisible!) through concentration, she can rarely do it for more than two minutes at a time. She is able to hide her wings with a glamour.
STORIES: Fairy Tale, Soul Searching, The Teamsters -
"A...pnevma spirit?" Akemi said, hesitating on the unfamiliar word. "What does that mean? Is it bad?" Cautiously, she stood on tiptoe to peer over Sam's shoulder at the thing. "It's pretty, whatever it is."

Apologies if any of these have already been done...
LR in a pink fuzzy bathrobe and bunny slippers in front of a full-length mirror, singing into his hairbrush: "I'm too sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt, so sexy it hurts..."
LR: "Um, judge? Where are the nachos?"
LR singing to Statesman: "I think I love you, so what am I so afraid of..."
LR lines up all his female henchman, then turns to Scirocco, Mako, and Scorpion and sings: "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts...there they are all standing in a row..."
LR watching Doc Ock use his arms to crawl up walls: "Why can't I do that? FETCH ME A MECHANIC!"
LR: "Who's agitatin' my dots? You been agitatin' my dots?"
LR: "My butt just hung up on you. Sorry!" -
Just send me a PM and tell me when, Kultie! Since I'm not ingame a whole lot (what with the graphics card sucking and the connection sucking more) but if I have a time and day I can be there.
