Task Force Excalibur whupped Reichsman's butt in 1:09:40. AWESOME job, you guys.
Next week, we start Trials. We will NOT be running the Respec Trials, unless you guys really, really, really want to. That means we'll be starting with the Cavern of Transcendence next week, then the Sewer Trial, then the Eden Trial.
We will need 8 people for the CoT Trial. It's only worth 7 merits, but it's a lot of fun, and you can get credit towards the Igneous defeat badge on it really easily. Hopefully, someone will sign up who already has it unlocked-I will attempt to get it unlocked by next week, but it's always good to have a backup.

A new chapter of the Teamsters is up. This is the arc that spawned our rule "If you don't know what it is, if it's glowing, moving, or otherwise unnatural, DON'T drink/eat it!"
-
A strangled yelp came over the Teamsters channel of Snap and 'Razur's comm units. Frowning over at her partner, who was dismantling some of the Council's War Wolves, Snap pulled her unit from her belt and thumbed the talk button. "What's up?"
"Uh...um...nothing!" came a feminine voice. "Everything's fine...didn't realize my comm was on...sorry..."
Snap frowned again and checked the comm's screen. "Mio? No way..."
"Er...uh...yeah," the voice replied sheepishly. "I think my energy drinks got mixed up with WRider's formula..."
The faery burst out laughing and waved at 'Razur, getting his attention. "Hey! Come on, let's head back to base-I've got to see this."
"See what?" he responded, quirking an eyebrow as a muffled "Nooooo!" came over her still-active unit.
"I think Mio turned himself into a woman." Snap giggled, leading the way back to Portal Corp. "Good thing we're finished here."
A few minutes later, they entered the Teamsters base, the diminutive faery sitting on 'Razur's shoulder and talking animatedly about an investigation they were working on. Seeing a flash of yellow in the workshop, she launched herself from her perch and flew in just in time to catch Mio by the back of his collar.
"Helloooooo," she giggled. "Okay, let's see."
Hesitantly, Mio turned around to face two of the other three group leaders. He'd been transformed from a tall (from Snap's perspective) well-built young man into a short, cute, and curvaceous young woman, who blushed furiously under the duo's inspection.
"So, we should start calling you Mia?" 'Razur said finally.
Mio glared at him and kicked him in the shin, which did nothing but make his toes hurt. "Ow...no! And none of my clothes fit me, and I have a date with Ali tonight and-oh my god! Ali! She can't see me like this...and I canceled our last date because I was trying to find that book for Snap...and...oh, this is not good!" he groaned.
Snap stifled another giggle. "Okay, first things first, Mia...let's get you some clothes. You can't wear those sweatpants all the time. 'Razur, call Ali and tell her Mio can't make it."
"On it," the scrapper rumbled, pulling out a phone. Snap, meanwhile, towed Mio out to Pocket D, despite his protests against being seen as a woman in public, and introduced him to Trina, who helped him pick out some more appropriate clothing.
While Mia and Trina tried to find something Mia was comfortable wearing, Snap got on her comm to try to track down WRider and Clairevoire. She discussed the situation with WRider, then turned the comm unit off and turned to Mia. "Hey, WRider says he knows what happened...he'll meet us back at base."
"Oh, thank God..." Mia sighed. "He can fix it?"
Snap shrugged. "Dunno. He flips genders all the time, so probably. If not...at least you're a cute girl. And you have a better rack than I do!"
Mia shot her an evil look and blushed as she laughed merrily at his discomfort. "Ugh, let's go back to base..." -
Dunno if this one's been mentioned yet but your character in the login screen will now display wearing the outfit they were wearing when you logged them out, no matter which costume slot it's in. Very cool.

Welcome (back)!
If you're looking for a good group of people, I'd like to suggest Protector. we're much more active than people take us for, and we never get overloaded during events. Protector is full of wonderful, helpful people, and also has multiple global channels for finding task forces, teams, events, and more.
If you ever have any questions, please feel free to message me here on the forums or at @DJKyo! -
Aye, an' I be doin' a special pirate themed show at 3 pm EST on KJSaRrrrrr.net, and me matey DJ Rasta be doin' one later as well!
-
Very awesome! Definitely gives me a few new ideas for the Teamsters base (and somewhere, the other SG leaders just got a migraine...)
-
My original forum handle was KunoichiKyochan (which was also my original global) but it was so freakin' long I wanted to change it. Then it was Kyochan, but everyone just calls me Kyo anyhow...and since Kyo was taken, DJKyo was my next choice, since I DJ for KJSR.net and occasionally have to post event announcements and such. Funny thing is, the toon "Kunoichi Kyo-chan" never even gets played any more...I don't think I've logged in on her for months except to move her to different dayjob locations. Most of my ingame friends know me as Snap, for my main, Snap Play. xD

Awesome base! I'd love a tour, what server is this on?

New update for the Teamsters. I'm a few months behind on the fiction, but I'm trying to get ahead so that I can update more regularly.

A few days later, in the Shadow Shard, Snap was leading a team through a labrynthine maze of caves, decimating Nemesis troops in search of certain keys to bind a god, when something strange happened. All at once, the Nemesis lietenant she'd been fighting, who had been a whole head shorter than her, was twice her size. Finishing him off, she looked around and realized that everyone else was at least twice her size, too-which could mean only one thing.
"It wore off!" she whooped with joy.
"Gratz!" called her fellow Teamsters, using the shorthand version of "congratulations" in order to save their breath for fighting. For a moment, Snap felt a flicker of despair and fear from 'Razur's mind, but he closed it off, prompting her to suddenly realize that maybe being back to her normal size-at least for some people-wasn't exactly the happiest thing in the world.
She frowned in his direction, then resolved to herself to find a way to make it work.
That way came in the form of Rory. Snap explained the situation to him later that night, carefully outlining that she wanted to be able to swap sizes at will. Rory nodded.
"Yeah, I can just alter the formula I use for being a hero to apply to you...let's see...I need a blood sample, and..." he trailed off, muttering to himself as he worked. Snap watched with interest as he scribbled equations down in a notebook, marveling at the difference between the thirteen year old genius and his half-sister, Ali. She willingly gave him a blood sample, looking away as he filled the syringe, and then went off to putter around the base, confident that somehow, Rory would find a way to solve the problem to everyone's satisfaction.
A few days later, Rory tossed her two small bottles of pills as he passed her in the hall. "One will make you bigger, one will make you small," he sang quietly, grinning at her and adding, "I labeled which is which."
Impulsively, Snap pulled the youngest member of the Teamsters into a hug. "Thank you, Rory! You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you!"
He blushed, stammering, "Uh...y-you're w-w-welcome, Snap..." then disentangled himself and fled to the relative safety of his lab, while Snap flew off to find 'Razur and inform him of his descendant's genius. -
You are ALWAYS welcome, Angel.

Holy SR Scrappers, Batman! xD We could use some more debuffs and probably some range; we should definitely have damage, tanking, and heals covered. -

Nah, OD just puts up with me and Asylym (and the rest of the Teamsters) way too much.
Welcome, AC, and feel free to join the Protector Events and Teamsters channels. PE is used mostly for TF announcements, and Teamsters is used for...well, it depends on who's online. x3 -
Has anyone mentioned Tsoo Sorcerors yet? I hate those [censored]s.

You can buy Single Origin Enhancements for your level range from stores in RWZ and the Midnighter Club. You may have to scroll for some time to find them, but they're there.
If you are interested in IOs, you will probably have to buy them from Wentworth's piece by piece.
For more information, check out Paragon Wiki. It has information on pretty much every aspect of the game, including different types of enhancements and what they can do for you.
Best of luck!
