  1. One thing that I have tried to do recently, since I've played with anchors alot more is avoid arresting the anchor, or confused people before the non anchors/non confused people. I never really paid it much heed before!
  2. I have the same problem with the debuffs on my TA Def. i keep telling them 'Wait for my -dam res debuff!!' but they never do.
  3. Thanks to the few that turned up, was a total loss as we didn't have anywhere near enough people.
  4. As someone who has a TA defender, some of our debuffs are placable (ir not bad guy centric) where as others need a target to fire upon. Bunching the bad guys together=good for us.
  5. As I have one, they do work very well together, but the lack of a taunt aura and the stealth feature can make it difficult to build fury when you have other team members capable of drawing your aggro or MM's in the team.

Basically you want pretty much everything from Energy Aura, you can get away with just shadow maul (used it as the finisher, not the opener) Smite, shadow punch and Air superiority should wish, although of course you do want Soul Drain, Dark Consumption and Energy Drain. Siphon life can be useful as a top up. It IS possible to manage with a staminaless build once you get into the high 20's/low 30's. I do it with no problems at all.

I don't have Aid self at all, and although it makes for some sticky situations you CAN manage. you could think about putting in Weave and Tough to give better S+L dam res and give you the extra def. Overload is the dog's B's though!
  6. Emp Kin Defenders rock BTW, you should pick one. or Rad Emission/Kin is also good.
  7. Despite GG's bias, MA is a good set. Just not as good as broadsword.
  8. or you could slot a Karma anti-KB IO.
  9. Broadword/Regen or broadsword/SR high damage and good survivability to boot.
  10. Just to prove it can be done on Live, without everyone respeccing just for Fly.

So, tentatively, Sunday night, around 9pm, Atlas park. ideally you'll have fly, someone with group fly would also be useful for the non Fliers out there. Basically we wait for a raid, go to the zone and take down as many fliers as we can. If you're up for it, say 'YAY' below.
  11. Rad/rad is good because they both work well together.
  12. TA/pointy sticks is good fun, although can't solo for toffee until you at least have oil slick arrow. i'd normally say Kinetics, but I'm not sure if you want to do another Kinetics character as you already have an Ill/Kin Controller. Kin/Rad can be very damaging with the right choices as well, and rad does -def, making your kin stuff hit better as well.

You could roll an Empath/Nrg or Emp/Elec and take your damage that way, or what about an emp/pointy sticks as I see you've done elec and energy with blasters?

Bubble defenders are great on teams, especially when you get SO's, I can't understand why no one wanted you.
  13. I'm confused about wanting hover as a Scrapper. Even with my Invuln and the in-built Taunt Aura I like to stay as mobile as possible, mopping up any stragglers or jumping over mobs to take out the one guy the aura missed and is trying to pound on a Squishy or 2. Hover just wouldn't do that for me.
  14. That's the point, it was rare when I picked it. That's the sole reason, cos there wasn't a lvl 50 one that anyone knew of, or on the list.
  15. Siphon power is very useful, as has been said, combined with FS in EB's and AV's it can make them alot less powerful, and it's just the thing when FS is down or you have something with -recharge. Don't forget it boosts your power too!

you could but an Anti-KB Recipe IO into ID if you wanted to.
  16. Being different is better than being a Sheep and going with the FOTM. Hence my desire to go Kin/Rad when I noticed there wasn't a lvl 50 one that anyone knew of, or on the admittedly incomplete list. AFAIK I was the first.

    First ever Brute

Yeah, energy cloak is da bomb, take it much earlier. As is usually the case, any sort of passive that gives res to anything is pretty much pants these days, and what you really want is S+L resistance. Perhaps pick up Tough and maybe, if you think you can afford the end, Weave too?
  18. IMO the damage really depends on how much fury you're going to be able to generate. my DM/EA doesn't have a taunt aura of any sort and the only real Aoe Damage I have is Soul Drain and Dark Consumption. I don't think Energy drain counts towards Fury as it does no damage. Basically if you have something that atracts attention then you can pretty much avoid damage as you'll get your damage through your fury, otherwise some damages in your attacks may be required.
  19. Only problem is, Malta Sappers can't have their end drained.
  20. 3DSmax has a 30 day trial linked on the page.
  21. Kin/Rad positively rocks this joint though! lots of -def so your kin stuff hits better, but Kin/Elec works liek a charm. become a Sapper overnight!
  22. Well, I currently don't have it and I'm now lvl 41. Emp arrow prevents your recovery for a little while, and when I don't have a decent sized team, usually around 4 people or less, including myself then I do have end issues and need a few blues to get me by. If it's a 5 man or higher team my end is usually fine but I'm not running any toggles apart from Hover. If you start going for leadership or stealth, or when you finally get your ancillary shield then you might need it. If it turns out I will I can always respec. I am thinking about dropping Poison Arrow and maybe glue arrow and may get stamina. I have swift for the +fly and health already.
  23. it does, but I'd still recommend Air Sup as it gives you a good element of soft control over your target, after all, they can't attack while lying down. it works well against paragon protectors for example, just to stop them from elude'ing or starting up unstoppable.
