  1. As they traveled, Ms. Grace noticed a wounded Hero out of the corner of her eye.
"Ms. Harmony! Please stop!"She cried, leaping off the sound wave. Jumping onto the grass, she cradled the small Clockwork that appeared to be reaching for a green, glowing object.
"Here..." Ms. Grace said softly, placing the glowing green object in the Hero's hand. "We have to help him!" Ms. Grace said firmly, looking at her friends. The other Agents sighed.
"Fine." Ms. Harmony said, brushing her guitar string in a sharp note. She grabbed the note (yes, GRABBED the note itself) out of the air and handled it like a weapon. "We don't have much time, though." She said in her usual melodic tone, observing the war zone around them. Hordes of the 5th Column, Vahzilok, and countless other Villain groups in Paragon had now entered the fray, thanks no doubt to Ms. Hack.
"I don't think my shots will work." She said, handing the small Hero to Mr. Justice. "Can you...?"
"Fine!" Mr. Justice said, lifting his hand into the air. A small box of parts and tools appeared and crashed to the ground with a loud THUD! "But these parts were meant for a MUCH bigger machine..." Mr. Justice tinkered for several minutes, and then stood back. "Well, that should do it."
Tick-Tok now looked brand new again, save for the fact that he was off-line for the time being.
"His internal power source should restart him soon..." Mr. Justice began.
"That's good." A voice from behind the group said. Turning, the group looked and saw Mr. Potential standing a couple yards from them, his arms folded across his chest.
Mr. Potential was being made entirely of Light Energy. His "body" was entirely white and emitted light constantly. He didn't wear clothes, and his body seemed to end at his waist, with his entire lower body replaced by Light Energy. This made him look like a hovering ghost.
"I need a host if we're going to stop this threat." Mr. Potential said, coming over to Tick-Tok.
"Early as ever, right Mr. Potential?" Ms. Charity breathed under her breath, which got her a look from Mr. Potential as he entered Tick-Tok.
"Well, I hope his full potential's enough to withstand our friend." Ms. Harmony said melodically. The group turned and saw Mr. Maul coming their way, firing grenades and now armed with a flame-thrower as he progressed down the street, killing both Heroes and civilians without mercy.
"KILL! KILL! Hehehehehehe!" Mr. Maul said, tossing a grenade at the group. The grenade exploded right in front of Ms. Harmony, knocking her back and sending her guitar flying out of her grasp and across the street.
"KILL! MAIM! BURN!" Mr. Maul laughed, advancing on the group.
  2. Mr. Pain punched Ms. Charity once again in the face, knocking her back into the still-burning Atlas City Hall as the chaos continued around the agents.
"Take-" Ms. Charity began, aiming her Light-Powered Rod at Mr. Pain. Unfortunately, Mr. Pain knocked the Rod out of her hands, the sending flying somewhere into the crowd of Heroes.
"You can't fire your little elemental powers at me now, can you (censored)?!" Mr. Pain laughed, grabbing the Agent by the neck. Mr. Pain was soon silenced, however, as Mr. Justice (now Mr. Freedom) punched him across the face with his machine, sending Mr. Pain flying across the Park.
"Why don't you-" Mr. Freedom began, but was stopped as his machine began to malfunction and collapse.
"What the...?" Mr. Freedom ejected from the cockpit, becoming Mr. Justice once again, and saw that Mr. Knives had entered the giant machine and had torn it apart from the inside out. Mr. Knives smiled and waved at Mr. Justice as he fell.
"Damn you!" Mr. Justice said as he watched the machine fall into the various building around Atlas Park. Soon, only the right gattling gun of Mr. Justice's machine was still operational. The rest of it was a burning wreck.
"Come on, we have to get to Mr. Light!" Ms. Grace said teresly, grabbing Mr. Justice and Ms. Charity by the arms. As she grabbed them, Ms. Harmony grabbed her as she zipped by, riding another sound wave. She yanked Ms. Grace so hard that she dropped several of her tranquilizers on the ground as the four agents retreated to their leader.
  3. Ms. Hack slumped down in the vehicle, the bullet hole still visible through the window. She was dead, alright... or was she? Her body changed into black mist, and in an instant she was back at her computer.
"When will they learn..." She thought, thanking her immortality she recieved when she became a Dark Agent. "You can't kill a Dark Agent without the help of a Light Agent." She punched in a final key in her computer, and Silver Haze's database became a useless breeding ground for every known computer virus in the world.
"That should keep them busy..." Ms. Haze watched as some Heroes killed some of her partners, only to be shocked when they came back to life. The Light Agents, of course, were busy dealing with Mr. Pain and Mr. Knives. "It's a little too one-sided here..." Ms. Hack thought. She entered some more information on her computer. "Let's... even... things up!" She hit a final key.
In Brickstown, all of the cell doors opened up. Ms. Hack then had all of the stationed Police Drones in the jails teleport ALL of the Villains back to Atlas Park to enter the fray.
"Take heart, Heroes." Ms. Hack laughed. "At least you can actually KILL your good friends, Doctor Vahzilok, Requiem, the Clockwork King..." She laughed wickedly as she continued to name ALL of the CoH ArchVillains.
  4. STREET-JUSTICE observes the wounder Heroes in the area, leaving the body of Ms. Shade where it lied. Unbenknownst to him, however, Ms. Shade's body disappears in a black mist.
Before he can react, STREET-JUSTICE finds himself in the grasp of the enemy he just killed. She knocks the Katana from his grasp.
"Ooh, sorry sugar." She croones into his ear as she holds him in her unwordly grasp. "I guess no one told you that me and all my friends are immortal... we can't be killed unless you're using the power of those Light a--holes." She prepared to snap his neck. "Ta-Ta."
Before she could, however, she was knocked back by a tiger courtesy of Ms. Sketch. While Ms. Shade struggled with it, Ms. Sketch ran up and grabbed STREET-JUSTICE.
"Come on!" She said, carrying her paper and crayons in one hand and dragging the extremely large man in the other. "You'll need my sword!"
  5. Ms. Hack eyed Vondor with a smile as he drew his weapon.
"Very brave." The little girl said, typing in something on her keyboard. "But we live in an age of technology, and sadly for you..." A whirring sound appeared behind Vondor, and as he turned around he saw that there were 10 Police Drones around him. "...you're outdated." Ms. Hack smiled.
"But the people of Paragon installed non-violent teleportation rays on these models." Ms. Hack pretended to pout. "That's why I altered them so that they instead fire rather lethal blasts of energy." She smiled wickedly.
  6. [ QUOTE ]
Tick-Tok just stared at was going on, he didn't have a clue.
But then a small beam hit him in the back of his head and knocked him out. He fell right in front of Mr. Maul.

    [/ QUOTE ]

"Hehehehehe! KILL! KILL! BURN!" Mr. Maul continued to throw grenades around him in completely random directions. Whenever he ran out of grenades on his chest belts, they would always be magically renewed with fresh grenades.
"Hehehehehehehe! Tick-Tok! TICK-TOK!" Mr. Maul laughed madly, looking at the Clock Work in front of him.
"Time to KILL! BURN!" Mr. Maul leapt into the air and fired all of his grenades down onto Tick-Tok. Tick-Tok's lower half was completely incinerated, and the blast sent what was left of Tick-Tok flying across the Park, landing at the gates surrounding Atlas City Hall. His upper-body lay there, charred and half-dead...
  7. "God, I love my job." Mr. Death smiled, his right arm turning into a gattling gun. In a flash, his boots exploded, revealing wheels, and with a tug his entire suit came off, exposing Mr. Death for what he really was: one giant weapon. His chest fired energy blasts into the crowd of Heroes at Atlas Park while his left hand fired grenades into Atlas Hall, setting it ablaze. His gattling gun, horribly enough, was set on the citizens around Atlas Park, mowing down more and more innocent lives every second.
"You've got a virus!" Ms. Hack smiled, throwing off her overcoat. This revealed her back pack, and with the stroke of a key she cut off all the power to Paragon City. With another push of a button, she was encased in a small, bullet-proof vehicle as she continued to cause more virtual chaos on her computer.
"Time to crush!" Mr. Pain smiled, picking up chunks of the now-destroyed statue that Mr. Maul had destroyed earlier and chucking it at Heroes that were challenging him.
"Put it down." Ms. Charity said, taking out her glowing rod. With a whirl of the rod, the sky overhead grew dark as Ms. Charity called down a lightning bolt to hit Mr. Pain. Mr. Pain was slightly hurt, but more angry from this.
"You..." Mr. Pain began, but with another whirl of the rod Ms. Charity released an ice storm, freezing Mr. Pain in place for a moment. In the next moment, though, he exploded out of his frozen prison with a roar.
"Now where is a really hot Hero that I can kill?" Ms. Shade wondered, looking around.
Ms. Shade had a drop-dead gorgeous body, and at only 19 years old, many male Heroes had succumbed to their death due to her charms. Her red and black revealing outfit, complete with red leather boots and gloves, and flowing blonded hair only helped her in her missions.
"Not handsome at all..." Ms. Shade thought, a quick punch going straight into a male Hero that had challenged her and coming out his back. She dropped the dead Hero onto the ground. "This isn't any fun."
  8. Mr. Maul, now fully in the battle both physically and psychologically, turned to Tick-Tok and laughed maniacally.
"KILL! GONNA KILL! BURN! BURN! BURN!" He released every single grenade on his chest belts all around him.
"Idiot!" Ms. Harmony yelled, a guitar forming in her hands. With a stroke of the strings, Ms. Harmony grabbed on and road the sound waves. That's right. She RODE the sound waves. Grabbing Tick-Toc by the arm, she pulled him to safety just as the grenades exploded and took out one of the Atlas statues, the statue falling to the ground and collapsing into the side of Paragon Hall. All around, almost all of the Heroes were already up in arms.
"Go go go!" Ms. Sketch said, drawing little army men on her paper and bringing them to life, the army men firing at the Dark Agents.
Meanwhile, Mr. Knives eyed Mr. Justice.
"Well, you're a pretty pathetic Agent of Light." Mr. Knives smiled, extending his claws. "Ready to die?"
"The question is," Mr. Justice smiled. "Are you?"
Mr. Knives charged Mr. Justice, but found himself knocked back just before reaching him. Getting up, Mr. Knives saw a HUGE, GIGANTIC machine, similiar to the Crey Titans, but about 10 times taller and noticeably armed with MANY more weapons. The machine was easily the size of most of the tall buidings in Steel Canyon.
"Oh, this is my friend Freedom." Mr. Justice said, leaping into the cockpit of the machine. "He doesn't like you."
  9. (Author's Note: This RP Thread is a continuation of a previous one, and therefore involves characters that have already been described and characterized in that Thread.
IMPORTANT: This RP Thread will more than likely be THE MOST Interactive Thread EVER in the Roleplaying Forums, and as such may have some problems between what happens in the story with certain characters. PLEASE KNOW THIS: CHARACTERS BROUGHT INTO THIS THREAD HAVE A VERY HIGH CHANCE OF DYING. This, again, is another first that has never been applied before in ANY RP Thread on these Forums. For those of you who are also wondering, ALL CHARACTERS THAT DIE IN THIS THREAD CAN AND WILL BE BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE. CERTAIN CHARACTERS MAY EVEN BE BROUGHT BACK ONLY TO DIE AGAIN, THEN BE BROUGHT BACK AGAIN. THIS IS A COMIC RP THREAD, SO YES, WE CAN DO THAT. THE GUYS AT MARVEL DO THAT ON A REGULAR BASIS. Now, I know that this might cause some "tensions" between authors (namely, one author wants to kill a character and another wants their character to live). I HIGHLY recommend PM'ing the author of ANY character you want to kill so that it can be worked out. If you feel you just HAVE to kill this character, and/or can't reach the other author, then I, as creator of this Thread, ALLOW YOU TO KILL THE CHARACTER. (Yes, you probably hate me for that). If you're the recipient of a character that was killed and you DIDN'T want that character to die, you can either: 1) PM me or have it so one of your other characters comes to one of my characters in the story (namely Ms. Grace) to bring the character back to life. OR 2) Feel free to come up with your own creative way to bring the character back by your own means.
AGAIN, THIS IS THE FIRST RP THREAD THAT ALLOWS THIS AND I ADMIT I AM TAKING A BIG RISK BY ALLOWING IT. DO NOT PM ME TELLING ME THAT YOU'RE PO'D THAT YOUR CHARACTER WAS KILLED AND YOU DIDN'T WANT HE/SHE TO BE KILLED. IF YOU ARE TRULY UNCOMFORTABLE HAVING YOUR MAIN CHARACTER KILLED, I SUGGEST BRINGING IN A DIFFERENT CHARACTER INTO THIS RP THREAD OR NOT POSTING IN THIS THREAD AT ALL. ALSO: PLEASE TRY TO REFRAIN FROM CREATING CHARACTERS THAT KILL MANY OTHER CHARACTERS. CREATING "X UBER MAN X" THAT JUST COMES IN AND KILLS EVERYONE ELSE IN THE THREAD WILL RESULT IN MY NEXT RESPONSE SAYING TO IGNORE WHAT YOU WROTE AND CONTINUE AS IF WHAT YOU WROTE NEVER HAPPENED. AND PLEASE DO NOT TRY "IGNORE" YOUR CHARACTER'S DEATH IF IT OCCURS WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.
One last thing: I encourage people not to only bring their HEROES into this Thread, but also use your imagination before CoV comes out and create some VILLAINS to enter the fray, as well. With that, let the Thread begin! )

"Well, well, well." Mr. Dark smiled, looking across at Mr. Light. "Mr. Light, along with your entire team. How long has it been since the last time we fought, all of us, like this?" Mr. Dark smiled wickedly.
"About 4 or 5 hundred years." Mr. Light said, looking solemnly at the other group. "I haven't kept track."
"That's right..." Mr. Dark glared at Mr. Light with absolute hatred. "But then again, only you and I would know, wouldn't we?"
"No one else on either of our teams now would." Mr. Light said, matching Mr. Dark's stare. "You've made some very... interesting... replacemets since our last battle."
Mr. Dark smiled slightly. "Tell me something, Mr. Light..." Mr. Dark's smile turned into the most wicked expression. "Since both you and I know that no matter how many of these 'Heroes'..." Mr. Dark snorted at the word. "Are brought into this battle, the only purpose they could possibly serve is to die." Mr. Dark narrowed his eyes. "We are, after all, immortal for all intents and purposes, except to each other. So why did you agree to have the battle here, in the middle of this pathetic little city? Were you honestly expecting help?"
"No..." Mr. Light now smiled. "I agreed to battle here knowing that you would agree, and thus the world would learn of the battle we've been fighting for thousands of years."
Mr. Dark's eyes widened for a moment, then narrowed again. "You know what that means?" Mr. Dark said coldly, and Mr. Light nodded.
"Well, this city should certainly prove to be an... interesting battle ground." Mr. Dark's wicked smile returned, and his held up his cane. Mr. Light matched this maneuver by raising his own cane. "I should say something witty and evil right now." Mr. Dark laughed. "But I don't like that comic book crap."
In an instant, the two teams began to fight over Atlas Park City Hall.
  10. Ms. Hack watched as the dogs went around and started barking. Mr. Dark's face appeared on Ms. Hack's monitor.
"Back off and regroup." Mr. Dark demanded as he saw the four agents sitting at the table.
"But Master said-" Ms. Hack began.
"You know the the rules Master set when you were first initiated!" Mr. Dark yelled at Ms. Hack. "The Agents of Light take first priority over ANY assignment!"
"Right. Regrouping." Ms. Hack excused herself, and Mr. Death and Mr. Maul sooned followed suit.
Mr. Pain and Mr. Knives, already in Kings Row, recieved Mr. Dark's message telepathically and quickly turned back to Atlas Park.
"Looks like it's finally time again." Ms. Harmony sighed melodically.
"Oh... I guess we have to leave, huh?" Ms. Grace said softly, getting up.
"I need you four to come to the top of the world on Atlas's statue in Atlas park." Mr. Light's voice boomed in their heads. "PLEASE COME NOW!"
The four agents did so, and in moments they were outside in the fresh air of Atlas Park, standing next to Mr. Light and Mr. Justice on the statue of Atlas.
"Good to see you're all OK!" Mr. Light said, hugging the group of young women.
Mr. Light was of average height and pretty well-built, even for a Hero. He was wearing a white trench coat over a blue shirt and white pants, complete with white boots and white gloves. His short, blue hair was cut neatly and several bangs hung above his extremely handsome face. Most interestingly, though, was his white cane that he held, complete with a statue of an angel on the tip of it.
"It's time." Mr. Justice said, looking over at the top of Paragon City Hall.
Mr. Justice was wearing blue and white jacket over a white T-shirt and blue pants, complimented by blue metal boots. His brown hair was short and spiky and flowed around in the wind madly.

(Author's Note: When I first designed this story, I didn't expect it to evolve into the HUGE RP story that it has. To be fair to the OP and to allow this story to evolve in a better RP enviornment than this thread can allow, I am moving all following events to it's own Thread, entitled: Light and Darkness Open RP. All RPers are welcome to participate in this Thread, which should be the most interactive one that ever existed on these forums. Thank you Master Mind and Vondor for your support! Hopefully my own thread will handle this RP story better. )
  11. " Wherever there is darkness, there must also be light. It is impossible for the Universe to be entirely Evil, just the same as it is impossible for the Universe to be entirely Good. Though we may not like this, it is still the way of the Universe, and we must accept it. "

Tony walked back into the kitchen, a little shaken up about the strange visit, the Influence in his hand. Scratching his head, the door to the diner opened once more, and four new Heroes came in.
The entrance of these Heroes brought a notable uneasiness to several of the customers in the diner at the moment, namely Mr. Maul, Mr. Death, and Ms. Hack.
Mr. Maul's fidgeting became twice as psychotic, and he began to stutter uncontrollably and mutter incomprehensible sentences.
Mr. Death's eyes widened, and for the first time since entering the bar showed signs of fear as he watched the Heroes take a seat.
Ms. Hack, still sobbing into Silver Haze's chest, completely forgot her cover and looked in horror as the four Heroes took their seats, then quickly uprighted herself and got onto her portable computer.
"We have problem." Ms. Hack typed furiously, sending a message to Mr. Dark.
"What can I get for you four?" The waitress asked, smiling at the small group of Heroes.
"An order of Angel's Food Cake, please." Ms. Grace said, blushing slightly as she eyed the waitress. "My name's Ms. Grace, by the way." She extended her hand towards the waitress, who accepted it. "You have a beautiful child." Ms. Grace said, then gasped and held her hand over mouth quickly, her face becoming a crimson hue.
"How did you know I was pregnant?!" The waitress asked, her face beginning to match Ms. Grace's. "I just found out this morning! Is it already showing?" She checked her stomach.
"Well, you know, women's intuition!" Ms. Grace said, still blushing as she waved her hands defensively.
"Wow, you're a really good nurse!" The waitress said, staring at Ms. Grace.
Ms. Grace was young, petite woman. Being only 19 years old, she looked a little suspicious wearing her white nurse's outfit. She complimented the outfit with blue dress shoes and a white nurse's hat, which had a Red Cross symbol on it. The hat covered the top of her flowing red hair, which fell out over her shoulders.
"I'll also have an Angel's Food Cake." Ms. Sketch said, looking up for a moment to adress the waitress, then going back to her paper and crayons.
Ms. Sketch was by far the youngest of any Hero in Paragon City, even younger than Ms. Hack at only 9 years of age. She wore a white school shirt and a blue and white plaid skirt that was somewhat short. She had blue dress shoes over white socks, and had a blue ribbon in her curly brown hair. Most interesting, though, was that she was constantly drawing pictures on any paper she could find, with any writing utensil she could find.
"Well, I don't want to gain weight..." Ms. Charity said, looking at the waitress. "But I guess one can't hurt... I'll also have Angel's Food Cake!" She placed her rod under the table.
Ms. Charity was wearing a rather breezy outfit that was unsuitable for the current weather, but she didn't seem to mind the cold at all. Her outfit consisted of a thin, white, flowing fabric that covered her entire body and swayed at even the slightest gust of wind. The fabric was also see-through, and revealed the blue two-piece bikini she was wearing underneath. She completed the outfit with white high heeled shoes. Her long, black hair also seemed to flow and move around, even when there was no wind to move it. Most interesting, however, was that she constantly carried a glowing blue rod around with her, the glowing aura of the rod seemingly pulsating every second.
"Angel's Food Cake sounds WONDERFUL." Ms. Harmony said, the last word slightly sung out in a beautiful tone.
Ms. Harmony was dressed in a blue tank top that was covered by her unzipped white leather jacket. The jacket was too small to fit her entire upper body, and left her stomach area bare. Her pants were also made of white leather, and the outfit was complimented by blue leather boots and blue gloves. Her blonde hair was very long, and flowed from her head all the way down to the back of her waist.
"It looks like Mr. Light was right about this place..." Ms. Charity said, looking around. "The agents of Darkness have new targets. We should attack!" Ms. Charity reached for her glowing rod, but was stopped by Ms. Harmony.
"We can't endanger innocent lives." Ms. Harmony said in her incredible voice. "Ms. Sketch?" She asked, turning to the young girl.
"Already on it." Ms. Sketch said, drawing some dogs on her paper. The moment she finished drawing them, the dogs leapt out of the picture and became real, jumping onto the diner floor and panting as they sat next to Ms. Sketch.
"Awwww! That's so CUUUUTE!" Ms. Grace laughed, petting and playing with the dogs.
"I want you all to go to everyone except those three..." Ms. Sketch pointed to the three agents. "And lead them out of here, OK?"
The dogs barked in compliance, and began to spread out across the bar.
  12. Mr. Death kept his eyes on Dancing Edge as he adressed the bar tender.
"A Devil's Food Cake for me." Mr. Death said. The bartender looked at him strangely, shrugged, and told a waiter Mr. Death's order.
"Well, this one is as cold as ice." Mr. Death thought, eyeing Dancing Edge and her sword. "I might as well get this assignment over with." Mr. Death began to concentrate on his right hand.
"Well, I just came to ask you a few questions." Mr. Death said, smiling as he continued to concentrate on his right arm. "You've got a nice sword there. Great craftsmanship."
"Let's see..." Mr. Death thought as he ran through his options in his right arm. "The Gattling Gun? Fun, if a bit messy. Grenade Launcher? Well, that certainly would make quite a mess, now wouldn't it? The Star Destroyer? That's a bit of overkill..."
"Straight to the point..." Mr. Death said, narrowing his eyes as he prepared his weapon. "Have you ever heard of something called 'The Emerald of Darkness?'"
  13. Ms. Hack looked between the two Heroes, then shoved her head into Silver Haze's chest and began to sob.
"He's so SCARY! Make him stop!" Ms. Hack began to cry, placing her arms around Silver Haze.
"And I would suggest you also put away your sword." Ms. Hack said telekinetically so that only Vondor heard her. "Your little incantations can't kill me, anyway. And neither can that sword." She looked out quickly from Silver Haze's chest and shot Vondor a wicked smile. "So unless you want me to kill your friend right now, you'll sit down and we'll have a nice, quiet conversation like old friends."
She returned to sobbing in Silver Haze's chest.
  14. The doors to the bar opened once more, and a small girl walked inside.
She was VERY young, perhaps the youngest Hero in Paragon City, being 10 years old. She was wearing an EXTREMELY oversized overcoat, one that was meant for someone three times her size. The overcoat itself was black, and covered most of her red outfit, complete with red boots. Her meium-length black hair rested on her shoulders, and her face was adorned with thick glasses. Most unusual, however, was that she had a small, portable computer in her hands, and her eyes NEVER left it's screen.
Somehow, however, she managed to walk right up to the table where Silver Haze and Vondor were sitting. Still typing on the keyboard of her computer, the waitress looked in bewilderment at the strange little girl.
"Devil's Food Cake, please." She said to the waitress, still not taking her eyes off her computer. The waitress nodded and jotted her order down.
Finally taking her eyes off her computer, she looked first at Silver Haze, then at Vondor. "Hello there, Vondor?" She said, smiling as politely as possible. "My name is Ms. Hack. Pleased to meet you."
  15. [ QUOTE ]
The smile was not warm, but was certainly satisfied as the two men turned to look at each other, a certain puzzlement in their faces. When they looked back to where the ladies had been, there was only a business card and the bill. The face of the card said: "Hero Psychiatric Services" and had an address in Kings Row. The back had a note, written in perfect calligraphy script: "Careful what you wish for, you might get it."

    [/ QUOTE ]

Once they were alone, Mr. Knives and Mr. Pain dropped their mask of politeness.
"You let them get away!" Mr. Pain said to Mr. Knvies, about to punch him in the arm. Mr. Knives grabbed Mr. Pain's arm before he could do so, however, his hands now sporting razor-sharp blades emerging from the tips of his fingers.
"I've been an agent for over 200 years longer than you have, so learn how to act to your superiors!" Mr. Knives said, throwing Mr. Pain's arm to the table. Mr. Pain glared at Mr. Knives.
"Still, it has been awhile since I've gotten an assignment." Mr. Knives thought, remembering what their Master told them.

"It seems like everyone's here." Mr. Dark smiled, looking around at the team. They were standing alone by the Whitmoore, a dark void swirling next to the group of 7 agents. The agents now turned to the void and knelt down. "We have assembled as you requested, Master. What do you ask of us?"
" I need you to retrieve the Emerald of Darkness. " The booming voice came from the void. " It contains great Evil power that will help ensure the destruction of Paragon City. However, I know it is in the possession of a Hero. However, I do not know exactly which Hero has it. You will each be assigned to 7 Targets. You will befriend them. You will find out if they in fact have the Emerald. If they do not possess the Emerald, you will kill them. If they do, you will retrieve the Emerald, then kill them. Then you will bring the Emerald to me. "
Folders appeared in the 7 agents' hands.
" DO NOT FAIL ME. NOW GO! " The void disappeared.
The 7 agents opened their folders.
"Oooh, I've got a hot guy for a target!" Ms. Shade crooed, licking her lips sultrily. Each folder contained all the information on the target that had ever been recorded in this world. "I wonder if he tastes as good as my last one?" Ms. Shade's mind wandered back to her last target in Paris. After disembowling her target, she had licked her fingers clean so she wouldn't show blood as she left the building. "I'm excited already!" She smiled wickedly.
"I got some chick Hero named Dancing Edge." Mr. Death said, his smile mathcing the wickedness of Ms. Shade. "Hey, don't you think it's a little unfair to be sending a group of immortal agents against some pathetic little crime-fighters in spandex?"
"I just think of it as accepting the way of the universe." Mr. Dark smiled, closing his folder without naming his target. "Ms. Hack, what target did you get?"
Ms. Hack didn't answer, however. She was still tinkering with her state-of-the-art portable computer, accessing files at the Pentagon, etc.
    "MS. HACK!" Mr. Dark yelled.
"Some guy." Is all Ms. Hack responded, continuing to pound on her keyboard.
"I got a Clockwork! I got a Clockwork! Hehehehehe!" Mr. Maul bounced up and down as he read his target's information. "Name's Tic-Tic-Toc! Gonna KILL! GONNA BURN! Hehehehehehe!" Mr. Maul continued to bounce around.
"Remember your mission, Mr. Maul." Mr. Dark scolded. "You have to gain his trust first and find out if he has the Emerald. THEN you can kill him." Mr. Dark smiled.
"KILL! KILL! BURN! KILL! MAIM!" Mr. Maul continued to chant.
"I got a pretty muscled-up chick." Mr. Pain said, looking at his folder. "'Gal O' War, huh? This is gonna be fun." He smiled.
"A simple Sibling for me." Mr. Knives sighed. "Well, my claws are thirsty for blood, and they don't care whose." He smiled wickedly and looked around.
"Alright, let's go." Mr. Dark said, and group disappeared in a flash of smoke.

"Anyway, it's not like we lost them, anyway." Mr. Knives said, pointing to the adress on the table. "They simply chose another location to die."
Mr. Knives smiled at Mr. Pain, and Mr. Pain returned his smile. They then quickly left for King's Row.

"Where have you heard of me?" Tick-Tok said as he opened his mechanical mouth and drank his tea.

Mr. Maul pondered the question as he continued to jerk around in his chair.
"Why, from a d-dear fr-friend..." Mr. Maul finally said, his eyes twitching as he looked at the mechanical Hero. "My n-name's Mr. M-Maul."
Mr. Maul wasn't used to sitting still and talking...
Mr. Maul's hand reached for one of his grenades, then quickly back to the table as he continued to jump around. All the while, he thought his usual thoughts...
"Maim, destroy, KILL!" Mr. Maul thought, continuing to look at Tic-Toc. "KILL, destroy, KILL, BURN! Hehehehehehe..." Mr. Maul's thoughts wandered...
  17. The door to the bar opened once again, and four Heroes came in and took a seat.
"Hello, welcome to Tony's Bar and Grill!" The waitress said, smiling as the three took their seat. "How can I help you today?"
"We'll have four orders of Devil's Food Cake." Mr. Knives said, smiling as he stroked his white beard. Mr. Pain nodded to the waitress, and Mr. Maul was able to grunt in response as he jerked around in his chair, unable to keep still, and Mr. Death took a sip of his water, not acknowleding the waitress. The waitress, a little offset, quickly walked back to the kitchen.
Mr. Knives was rather old for a Hero, his white hair and beard circling his wrinkled face. He was wearing a black fighter's gi with a red trim, and had black sandals on his feet. His hands were old and wrinkled, yet appeared to be quite strong for someone his age.
Mr. Pain was a BIG man. Towering over most Paragon citizens, his enormous, rippled muscles stood out on his shirt-less upper body. His pants were black with a red stripe running down them, while his watermelon-size feet and hands were also bare. His short, brown hair was styled in a buzz cut over his rather solemn face.
Mr. Maul was the shortest of the group, a bit smaller than an average Paragon Citizen. He was wearing a bright red shirt and black pants, complimented by black boots and black gloves. He had a black belt of gadgets across his waist, two straps of grenades running over both of his shoulders and down his chest in a crossing pattern over his shirt. His long hair was a bright red, and towered over his head like a spiky pillar. Most interesting, however, was that he constantly fidgeted and jerked around in his chair, looking around constantly as did so.
Mr. Death, in contrast, sat calmly in his seat as he sipped some water. He was of average height and build, and was wearing a black suit and black pants, complimented with black dress shoes and black gloves. A red tie complimented this outfit, as well as a black and red hat, similiar to what mobster's wear, that covered his black hair. His entire body was so covered by clothes the only skin you could see of him was on his face.
Mr. Death looked up, made a slight gesture to the rest of the group, and instantly the group broke up and introduced themselves to others in the diner.
"Hello there, ladies!" Mr. Knives smiled at Sibling and Gal O' War, Mr. Pain right behind him. "Hope you don't mind if we get acquainted!" The two Heroes sat themselves down at their table.
"H.. h... Hey there!" Mr. Maul said, stuttering as he took a seat next to Tic-Toc. "You're tic-toc, tic-toc, TIC-TOC, RIGHT?!" Mr. Maul yelled the last line quite loudly. "I'd like to get to- get to know you..." He said, continuing to fidget in his seat.
"Well, hello there." Mr. Death said, calmly taking a seat at Dancing Edge's table. "You seem to have a nice weapon there. I know some things about weapons..." Mr. Death smiled slightly at this, then quickly changed his expression back to normal. "Allow me to introduce myslef: My name is Mr. Death."
  18. "Mr. Dark you mother-!" Shadowhand began to run after Mr. Dark as he flew away with Gun Slinger in tow, but was stopped by Supernovus, who used his telekinesis to throw him back into his chair. "What the hell are you doing, Hero?!" Shadowhand yelled, glaring at Supernovus. "That son of a [censored] is getting away!"
Supernovus shook his head. Around the table, he had the rest of the team held against their will thanks to his telekinesis. "I know you all want to stop him." Supernovus said, looking around at his friends. "But we can't rush in like that against someone like Mr. Dark." Supernovus's expression grew solemn. "The only thing you would succeed in is getting yourselves killed!" Most of the team calmed down at this point, but Shadowhand was still struggling.
Sword Strike X adjusted her sword across her shoulders and looked at Shadowhand. "Shadowhand, when Mr. Dark... converted you..." Shadowhand's expression changed to a much softer one for a moment, then quickly returned to a defiant snarl. "Do you remember where he took you? To perform the... conversion, that is?"
Shadowhand finally stopped struggling, trembling with rage as he turned to Sword Strike X. "I don't remember alot about my 'conversion'..." Shadowhand said the last word with utter contempt. "All I remember was that is was dark, and painful." He turned to Supernovus. "VERY painful."
Solarblaze thought the matter over. "There are alot of dark places in the city..." She began, turning to her brother. "It could be a million places!"
Supernovus shook his head. "We have to find the one that helped us free Shadowhand." He said, his eyes glowing a brighter white as he said it.
Aurora Blast gasped at this, and Thunder Crush scratched his helmet, trying to remember who Supernovus was talking about.
"Mr. Light?" Solarblaze asked. "We wouldn't know where to start!"
"Well, we'll have to find some way to get in touch with him." Supernovus said matter-of-factually. "In any case, we can't stay here any longer. We have to get in touch with several VERY secretive contacts."
"What are you talking about?" Radiationshield asked.
"I'll tell you about as we travel." Supernovus said, using his telekinesis to remove all the glass and broken furniture from the floor. Using his mind, Supernovus reassembled the tables, chairs, and front door of Tony's diner. When he was finished, all that was damaged was the small hole that Mystic Flare had damaged earlier.
"Please accept our apologies for all the trouble." Sword Strike X told Tony as the group began to leave.
"You'll be getting a call from m... my friend about the window." Mystic Flare said, shaking Tony's hand. "Good luck with the business!"
Supernovus led the group outside and used his Group Fly ability to carry the group into the air.

Mr. Dark, having used his cane to open a portal while flying to escape back to his home realm, was carrying a now-unconscious Gun Slinger. She had managed to grab her Assault Rifle and shoot him in the face, so he had taken the rifle from her and hit her across the head with it.
Mr. Dark flew into the dark, dark chamber that he had used to perform the ritual that had created Shadowhand. Placing her down on a small, raised plataeu, he was interrupted by the sound of his master's voice.
" Leave her to me. I have more important business for you to attend to. "
"Of course, master." Mr. Dark smiled, looking into the void. "What would you ask of me?"
" I need you to go to the Whitmoore Apartments in Paragon City. Some events have occurred there that I need you to attend to. " The voice bellowed. " This is a crucial operation, my servant. I am temporarily disengaging the rest of my servants from their worldly duties so they will be at your disposal. "
Mr. Dark smiled inwardly. "So, I'll be commanding the entire team, then?" He asked.
" They will meet you at the Whitmoore. I will tell you what I demand of you when you are all there. NOW GO! "
Mr. Dark bowed slightly and opened the portal back to Paragon City.
"It looks like Paragon City will soon be under the influence of my Master!" Mr. Dark thought as he approached the Whitmoore. "Thousands of innocent mortals screaming he pain and agony..." His eyes grew ever darker. "I get excited just THINKING about it!"

Sibling blanched for a moment, but did not allow her movements to betray the fact that she noticed an evil in the room. Cliff motioned with the body, while Angela sought with the mind. The dark one, the smug one.

Mr. Dark smiled as the waitress placed another plate of Devil's Food Cake on his table. Despite their attempts at hiding their thoughts, no thought on this world were out of his reach.
"Let them try what they will." Mr. Dark thought to himself as he took another bite of his cake. "I have more important matters on my hands than killing the pitiful mortals of this world."

Gun Slinger walked away from City Hall, her cigarette burning lightly in her mouth as she walked, her Assault Rifle slung over her shoulder.
Gun Slinger was of average height as most of the people in Paragon City, and was more well-built than most female Heroes due to her intense physical training. She had on a black coat over her white tank top, complimented with black leather pants and black boots. Her long hair was light brown, and slightly covered the right side of her black sunglasses as her hair fell over her face. To finish off her outfit, she had on a belt that was filled with various crime-fighting gadgets.
"For a city that supposed to be such a hell hole, this place is awfully cheery." Gun Slinger thought, looking around Atlas Park. "It kind of reminds me of my hometown..." Her mind went back to her childhood home, a tear forming in her eye. She shook her head and came back to reality. "Anyway, where the hell is someone supposed to eat around here?"
Her eyes settled on a small diner, where several other Heroes were walking away from. "Good a place as any." Gun Slinger thought to herself, throwing her cigarette on the ground and stepping on it.
She entered the diner, slightly surprised at the broken door and the hole in the window as she entered.

Mr. Dark's eyes widened as she noticed a woman enter the diner. "That's it!" He thought, his senses going off like a siren in his head. "She's the one!"
With inhuman speed, Mr. Dark rose up and grabbed the girl around the waist, carrying her up and the air as he flew out the diner.
"What the...?" Gun Slinger thought, completely taken by surprise at the attack. "HELP ME!" She cried as she was taken ever higher into the air at Mr. Dark.
  20. Mr. Dark watched as several of the groups in the diner left.
"No matter, it wasn't any of them, anyway." Mr. Dark thought as his eyes swept across the diner to the remaining groups of Heroes.
"No..." He thought, looking at Sibling. His eyes shifted to Gal O' War. "No..."
He looked across to Tic-Toc. "Not him, either..." He thought.
His eyes settled on Shadowhand, who was still staring at him with hatred. Supernovus and the others had become noticiably uneasy, but were engaged in conversation at the moment.
"Ah, my little assassin..." Mr. Dark thought as he smiled wickedly at Shadowhand. "I can still remember when you would bring me the souls of the innocent, that menacing, defiant expression on your face..." His thoughts were interrupted as the waitress brought him his Devil's Food Cake. He took a bite, and then continued to reminisce. "You so HATED working for me, didn't you? But that's the difference between you and me, isn't it?" Mr. Dark chuckled to himself. "I ENJOY doing my master's work."
He thought of his master's last request, and what he had told him when he was ordered to come to this little bar.
" My servant, I have found a new soul that I can use. I need you to go to a new bar in Paragon City, for the soul will arrive there today. BRING THE SOUL INTO THE FOLD! "
Mr. Dark took another bite of his cake. "It seems my master wants a replacement for you, Shadowhand." He thought.
"Man, that guy freaks me out!" Aurora Blast whispered, shuddering as she looked at him.
"Supernovus, do you-" Mystic Flare was interrupted as his hand discharged a large energy blast. It flew right at Mr. Dark and collided into him, destroying table, chair, and area around it.
Mystic Flare looked at the damage, then turned to Supernovus. "So, I guess... I got him?"
Supernovus shook his head, and pointed behind Mystic Flare.
Looking back, Mystic Flare saw Mr. Dark, completely unharmed, still clutching his fork as he brushed off his trenchcoat. He ate the small piece of Devil's Food Cake on the fork, smiled at Mystic Flare, then grabbed his cane from the ground and sat down at the next table.
"You can't kill what's immortal, Mystic Flare." Supernovus sighed.
  21. Supernovus and his team smiled as their large, LARGE meal finally came out to them.
"ALL RIGHT! TIME TO EAT!" Thunder Crush bellowed, and the team began to dig in... very, VERY quickly.
"(Mmmrf)... (mmmrrf).... Mystic Flare, please (mmmrf)... pass me some of those wings." Radiationshield asked as she ate her salad.
"Would you mind if I took some pizza?" Sword Strike X asked in between gulps as she ate a burger.
The feast continued for about 10 minutes, and then every plate was clean.
"AAAH! THAT'S MUCH BETTER!" Thunder Crush sighed, stretching in his chair.
"Guess I'll get the-" Mystic Flare began, but was interrupted as a black mist enshrouded the entire Bar.
"What the...?" Aurora Blast asked as all of the occupants of the bar looked about in equal amazement.
Through the black mist, a man emerged from the ground, his hands clutching a black cane as he appeared, facing Shadowhand and smiling. The mist disappeared, revealing the "man."
He was the same height as any average citizen, yet was not nearly as muscular as most Heroes. He was wearing a black shirt and a black trenchcoat, complimented with black pants and boots. His bare hands clutched a black cane, which had a small statue of a demon on the top of it. His face was white as ice, and his hair was fire red from the top of his head to his goatee. But his eyes... his eyes seemed to have a... darkness to them, like a void that never ended.
"Hello, Shadowhand." The man smiled, placing his cane down and leaning on it with his two hands. "We meet again."
Everyone stared in wonder at the man except for Supernovus and Shadowhand, who both stared at him with hatred.
"Hello again, Mr. Dark." Shadowhand said, clenching his fists together. "Come for a few more souls, have we?"
"Oh, I'm always so misunderstood." Mr. Dark chuckled, reaching over and placing his hand on Shadowhand's shoulder. Shadowhand jerked back at his touch. "You of all people should know that." He placed his hand back on his cane. "I did consider asking you back into the fold again. But I know that asking you yet again to join me would be an effort in futility, wouldn't it?" A cold, cruel smile swept across Mr. Dark's face. "Both because of your stubborness and..." Mr. Dark's eyes rose to the ceiling for a moment, then back to Shadowhand. "...OTHER arrangements, right?"
Mr. Dark's eyes moved to the empty plates. "I see your team still practices gluttony." Mr. Dark raised one hand in a "thumbs-up" gesture. "Good work."
Wheeling around, he eyed the other Heroes in the Diner, sensing some of them wished to attack him. "I haven't come here to kill anyone." Mr. Dark declared loudly, eyeing everyone else in the diner. "However, I believe your society accepts the justification of 'self-defense' when it comes to killing, so my suggestion would be for you all to stay where you are and not try anything." Mr. Dark's voice became deep and dark. "You are dealing with forces your mortal minds could never POSSIBLY comprehend."
"Get to the point, Mr. Dark!" Shadowhand yelled in anger. Mr. Dark wheeled around, facing Shadowhand.
"For now, I'm just going to do what everyone else is doing." Mr. Dark said in his normal voice. "Sit down, relax, and eat."
Mr. Dark sat down at the table next to the team and influenced a waitress to come to him.
"I'll think I'll skip straight to dessert." Mr. Dark said, smiling. "Do you have any Devil's Food Cake? It's my favorite."
  22. Mystic Flare made a mental note to donate some money to the diner as Thunder Crush sat down with them.
"Well.." Radiationshield began, but stopped at a loss for words.
"It appears you've gotten a lot stronger since the last time we all met like this." Sword Strike X said. Looking around, she noted the various other Heroes in the Diner.
"HAHAHAHAHA! That's right!" Thunder Crush said, loud enogh for everyone in a three block radius to hear him. "I'm stronger than ever! HAHAHAHAHA!" His laugh bellowed so loudly it shook the diner.
"Well, that's very nice." Sword Strike X said, her eyes still shifting around the diner.
"So, we're only missing three of our-" Mystic Flare began, but then he looked up as the Hellion began to raise back up. Before he could react, he noticed the Hellion's head appeared to jerk back, then he appeared to fly out of the diner.
"Correction, Mystic Flare. We're only waiting on 2 more friends." Supernovus said, gesturing to something only he could see.
"Of course." Radiationshield said. "What do you think you're doing, Shadowhand?"
Shadowhand became visible once more, angry that Supernovus had revealed his prescence.
Shadowhand was the same size as Mystic Flare, but had a MUCH different outfit. His black T-shirt that had the white symbol of a fist was his only covering against his well-defined body, and were accompanied by his black pants and white belt. His hands and feet still resembled that of the demon he used to be (long story), and his black mask concealed his face and hair, the mask itself resembling a skull.
"Well, I would have revealed myself earlier, but I WANTED to get more information about the others in here." He glared at Supernovus. "Of course, I can't do that NOW."
IronHorse took initiative and came over to Shadowhand.
"Hi there! My name is-" The Hero began.
"Shut up and sit back down." Shadowhand snarled, his eyes still fixed on Supernovus. "I'm not here to make new friends."
Mystic Flare sighed, Sword Strike X stared, Radiationshield crossed her arms in a "you better apologize" fashion, Thunder Crush was still looking the menu over, and Supernovus just smiled back at Shadowhand.
They were interrupted as Mystic Flare saw the last two members of their party arrive.
"Solarblaze, Aurora Blast! Good to see you!" Mystic Flare said, greeting the two young women.
Aurora Blast was a little taller than Sword Strike X, and had a VERY good body for an 18 year old. She was wearing her usual blue tank top and red shorts, along with her black and white gloves and boots. Her mask was small, only covering her eyes, and she had done this so her long, natural blonde hair could flow freely as she flew around the city.
Solarblaze, on the other hand, was wearing her usual white one-piece outfit, which the emblem of a red and blue starburst on her chest. Her gloves and boots were white with black spirals on them, and her white hair was cut short. Like her brother, Supernovus, her eyes glew with white light.
"Sister!" Aurora blast cried with glee, nearly tackling Sword Strike X as she was still kneeling. "It's so good to see you again! I have to tell you about this one time I was up against these disgustingzombiesandtheywerejustaboutthegrossestth ingIhadeverseenand..." Sword Strike X smiled weakly as her sister spoke a mile a minute.
"Hey, brother!" Solarblaze said, hugging Supernovus. "How are things going? Have you met any ArchVillains yet? Did you beat them? Of course you beat, them! Tell me how it went! Was there alot of fighting? Can you..." Solarblaze continued to ask her brother twenty questions until Supernovus told her and everyone else to calm down.
A huge growl was heard across the diner. Thunder Crush laughed. "Umm... can we order now? I'm starving!" Thunder Crush laughed as he looked at the menu.
"Don't worry, I already ordered for us." Supernovus said, looking in the direction of the kitchen. "It should be ready soon."

After acquainting each other, Supernovus and Mystic Flare were about to continue talking when the door bell rang yet again.
"Hey, it's Sword Strike X and Radiationshield!" Mystic Flare said, rising up to greet the two young women.
Sword Strike X was the shortest of anyone in the group, but not by much. She was wearing her usual red and blue outfit, complete with black and white gloves and boots. Her long hair was tied back into a ponytail, and a white band went across her forehead where her blonde hair met her face. Her Katana was nestled at her side, as always. Like the others, she too had white light for eyes.
Radiationshield was wearing her usual white "holey" outfit, complimenting it with her black boots and gloves. The suit had a red and blue "radiation" symbol, warning others about her power. Her short hair was a dark purple (a side effect of her powers), and her eyes were white light, as well.
"Sorry we're late, but we ran into some trouble." Radiationshield said, smiling as nicely as possible.
"Against the Circle of Thorns? And you're not any later? My, it seems you two are getting better each time we meet." Supernovus smiled. Radiationshield blushed while Sword Strike X took a look around at the various people in the place.
"It's nice to have a place to sit down and relax after a battle like that." Radiationshield said, taking a seat. Sword Strike X took out her blanket and small wooden table and kneeled on the floor, as always.
"That always startles me, Sword." Mystic Flare said, watching Sword Strike X kneel.
"I had to do it all the time when I was training." Sword Strike X said, watching the huge Clockwork-esque Hero. "Who is that?"
"That?" Mystic Flare asked, looking at the Hero. "Oh! That's IronHorse. Don't worry, he's harmless."
"You know, he kind of reminds me of-" Radiationshield began, but was then interrupted as a huge CRASH! sounded as a body came crashing through the front door, knocking it down and sending shards of glass everywhere.
"HAHAHAHAHA! IS THAT ALL YOU'VE GOT?!?!" Thunder Crush said, walking into the diner and looking at the now unconcious Hellion. Everyone in the bar stared at him, except Supernovus who casually read the newspaper.
Thunder Crush was actually a man, but right now he was wearing his Super Suit, as he always does when he fights crime. He was also HUGE, by far the biggest of the group. His suit had a red and blue body, with white areas at his hands and feet to better conduct the energy the suit allowed him to use. His suit was powered by the crystal embedded in the center of his outfit, which could not be dislodged by anyone except Thunder Crush. His helmet was white and black, with ventilation shafts at its side.
"Hello, Thunder Crush." Supernovus said casually as the others looked at the mess in disbelief. Tony himself had fainted.
"What? What'd I do?" Thunder Crush asked.
  24. Tony passed a glass of beer over to Supernovus. Grabbing the glass, Supernovus handed it over to Ironhorse.
"You don't have to make for me, I don't drink." Supernovus said, continuing to read the Paragon Newspaper every Hero had a subscription to. Not long after, the door bell rang, and Supernovus looked up from his paper.
"Ah, Mystic Flare! I had a feeling you'd be the next to show up." Supernovus said, gesturing to the seat next to him. "How have things been?"
Mystic Flare was the same height and build as Supernovus, but was about 5 years younger. He wore a red and blue metallic outfit, complimented by white gloves and boots encrypted with mystic writing. He had short, black hair that ended in bangs that hovered over his forehead. But his eyes were just like Supernovus's, having white light in place of normal eyes.
"Well, a little different..." Mystic Flare began, then sat down next to Supernovus. "My powers have been growing immensely, and lately I've been having a little trouble-" An energy blast came from his hand, crashing through the store window and careening into the sky, where it exploded in mid-air. "-controlling it."
Tony stared at Supernovus and his friend.
"Don't worry, I'll pay for that." Mystic Flare apologized. "I have a friend that runs a company here in Paragon City, a multi-millionare. I'll give him a call to wire the cost of the window to your account."
"Wow! You must have a good friend!" Tony said.
"Yeah, I saved his life once." Mystic Flare explained. He looked over at Supernovus, who was shaking his head in his usual "you need a better story than that" manner.
  25. For the first several minutes of the bar opening, no one came in. And then...

The bell on the door rang as Tony's first customer came in.
He was of regular height, and muscular as far as most Heroes were. He had short white hair, and was wearing a white outfit with black boots and gloves. His shoulers had two red and blue pads on them, and his chest held a red and blue "Infinity" symbol on them. But what was most striking were his eyes... they glowed with white light where a persons regular eyeballs should have been.
The Hero eyed the restaurant, and then looked at Tony. Smiling, he took a seat.
"Well, Tony, I'm honored to be your first customer." He said, looking Tony over. Tony took a step back.
"How did you...?" Tony then caught on. "I see. Your one of those Mind Controlling Heroes, right?"
The Hero smiled as he picked up a menu and flipped through it. "Very good. Well, welcome to the city. Trust me, you'll see and hear alot of strange things while you're here in the city." He put down the menu. "But I've come here to arrange a little get together with my friends... whom are all Heroes, as you probably would guess."
    "How many?" Tony asked.
"7 exactly." The Hero said, looking out the window into Atlas Park. "They should be here shortly... by the way, my name is Supernovus." He extended his gloved hand, which Tony accepted. "One thing you should know, Tony, is that my friends and I eat ALOT... one of the few traits we all share." Supernovus smiled. "On that note, I'll make the order now. We'd like 2 Cheese Pizza Pies, about 3 dozen Garlic Knots, 4 Double Cheeseburgers, 2 Caesar Salads, 4 Large Glasses of Soda, 2 Glasses of Chocalate Milk, 2 Glasses of Water, a plate full of Buffalo Wings and a Large Basket of Fries."
Supernovus smiled as Tony stared at him in disbelief.
"I'll... get our guys right on that..." Tony said as he turned away from Supernovus.
Just then the bell rang again, and Supernovus and Tony looked to see who it was...
