Kinetic Field
Entropy Field
Energy Cloak
toggles running. With 3 slotted stamia and 6 slotted Energy Drain (as above, will give you full end from 2 minions every 30 seconds).
I've also taken Hasten (3 SO's, to set to autofire after Overload, to get it back up ASAP)

The amount of lives people have had has been wrong for ages. I posted last time this came up that I had two lives left instead of one and then I lost another match and i'm no longer in it.
Week 4 Results Where I have 2 lives, round 5 I lost a life.

Think theres a mistake since me (gaia guard), icy thunder and shadow stryke won our last match so we all should have two lives left still

Health / Fast healing, thay do NOT stack... if Fast Healing have 25% heal and Health has 20% it does not become 45, it becomes 25% the game counts out the higest and do NOT stack powers... so taking Health and Stamina as a Fast Regen is TOTALY useless... unless you wanna waste power slots...

please don't give people TOTALY wrong advices..my dm/rgn has every +regen power 3 slotted and has a VERY nice regen rate..offcourse it stacks..else the +regen in intergration would become pretty useless 2.. -

Defence = They can't hit you.
Resistance = They hit you but you take less damage when it happens.
Regeneration = Gets hit but is so busy regenning up you barely notice it and call it RES.
Maybe that brute has poor accuracy.

1. regens usaly have dull pain up since you can make the downtime pretty short..and yes since they have a good regen rate they heal at the time you attack em (depending on timing 2)..
2. errr lvl 50 invul tank?..its a set still mainly based on res..so why pointing out on def:/..SS has way to high acc 2 most of the time thnx to rage...can easily hit trou SR scrappers if slotted well..asks for a nerf but thats not teh point right now -

you don't have to gank or to be ganked if you do it right...its a bit harder with chars like tanks or scrappers now since the toggle drop nerf (normaly you could drop em..then imob then, stun them, juggle with em)..which is a bit harder now..but its still fairly easy to make solo kills:P -

Are you basing that on the experiences of your Illusion / Kinetics? Because Illusion is superb for soloing post Level 18. Kin/Elec Defenders don't have the Deceives, holds & Pets to distract & disabled the mobs that any Illusionist has.
Although Unthing is right. Fulcrum Shift will make it a bit easier. But then you've another issue. At level 38 suddenly every Kinetics Controller can do every trick you can nearly as well. Plus they have Containment Damage too.
Is there life post 38 for Kinetics Defenders?

I'm talking about kin/sonic kin/elec now tho..elec has held btw?..and a somewhat weak kind of pets...great end drain?..its not the most damaging and takes some time buts its not bad for soloing at all..its a bit better for teams tho and for solo I would go the sonic way..but neither of em sucks for solo

You really think that? I dont really know you so I can't comment but think thats just paranoia. I wouldnt know what else to put it down to. I mean if that was the case many people would ignore corruptors because they chose the wrong powers. The amount of people that I know (or have teamed with) that have ignored some of there most useful powers such as a thermals secondary power like thaw is amazing. I think most people go by who they know and if no one is about then start looking else where. I would seriously hope that was what happened with yourself - otherwise I say you hang about with the wrong crowd as I haven't witnessed such elitism and I play CoV a hell of alot.

people do..its just like teh empath thing:P..I usaly ignore tells with ''j00 n33d a h34l3r'' to use the /sea and see a defender 18 lvl's lower then me:P..and well yes..a stone brute without granite aint the best thing to have in your team but brutes AREN'T tanks..they are to take and DISH OUT damage..which would make them better without granite
anyway there will always be powerchoice picking...I don't find stalker to usefull in my own teams either but a 3 man stalker team can kill faster then most I have seen..(ninjablade/spines/EM combo works very..very well..I usaly try to avoid MM's tho altho its pretty hard..good MM's are godsent but most don't understand that pets can act like mini tanks so they are useless pretty much of the time (other words..good MM's in teams ftw bad MM's are teh uselessness:P)...
Get used to it..just send many tells around..teaming with your sg still works best most of the time imo -

dark melee has crappy acc..so does energy melee...but like someone said most sets have +acc which DM and EM don't have and for some reason they really ARE noticable -
/fire works great if you know how to play and don't die every 2 seconds in pve like plight

Power choices:
Drop invincibility, its not needed in PvP.
Drop tough hide, the defence values are to low on it.
Take hurdle over health.
Pick up hasten and superspeed over these two powers for some movement and faster recharge on your attacks.
Drop energy torrent and get laser beam eyes, seriously energy torrent costs a lot of endurance and does very low damage, laser beam eyes costs less endurance and does more damage. You already have knockback/knockdown control tools from focus and shockwave.

invic and tough hide certainly work in pvp..for some reason I had managed to miss invuls more in melee range then most other scrappers..even no on my stalker I just have to pop build up to be sure my AS hits tanks with it
Why hurdle..I have it on my katana regen cause I already have a basic regen rate..for invul 3 slotted health is pretty nice tho..if ya go superspeed you need hurdle and CJ indeed..only SS+hurdle doesn't work...only SS+combat jump neither if your enemy has fly or SJ him..:P..like some people said its mainly damage over time so you won't be jumpin around as much as a blaster unless your spamming focus and eviscerate:P..
anyway do what ya like huh..I would agree with everclear 'bout the aid self..best slotting is still 3 heal/2recharge/1 interupt or 3 heal/1 rech/2interupt (tho you only really get interrupted during damage over time ticks (spines/fire etc).. -

as an Ill/Storm you get an abundance of choices in stealth.
Group Invis isn't perma even with 3 recharges in it unless you use hasten where it will be perma with 2 recharges in it. Good thing about this is the ability to grant teammates with invis aswell, and doesn't cost any end apart from the cast cost.
Sup invis is a good power but uses a lot of endurance and I personally wouldn't take that since /storm is a very end heavy set
Steamy mist is "only" stealth where the 2 other powers are invis. That means you will be detected by mobs if you stand too close to them. If you use super speed on top of mist it basically will be the same as invis. On top of the stealth and (neglible) defense in this power it grants a very nice resistance to fire, cold and energy damage.
Personally i would go the steamy mist/super speed route but it's amatter of preferance/playstyle.
You should definately dip in the fitness pool to get stamina. It's basically a necessity with /storm.

invul scrappers always where a good choice..my ma/invul always did very fine and probaly even better then some regens..still this chart is more based on how long they would surive based on basic regen/res instead of counting all the clickies like IH and DP:P

Pretty fast hold animation
Targetable long range stun (great for taking out blasters toggles)
give it fear and its nice:P
