    Blaster Damage

    4. Make all current melee attacks have a range of 20 feet, either by changing the animations or just letting them have the range. Increase the damage on Melee AoE attack powers again.

    5. (stolen idea) Give each single target attack a -10% res that lasts 5 seconds. This not only helps boost the blasters damage a minute amount but also allows the blaster to help a team. Thus encouraging teaming.

    6. Swap the damage caps of blasters and scrappers.

    7. Remove the rooting effect from blaster attacks.

    8. Faster activation times on powers for blasters.

    9. Making level 32 nukes into more useable AoE powers like Head Splitter or Full-Auto and less situational all end consuming powers.

    Just my thoughts on where I would like blasters to go.

    I totally agree with the highlighted points. Most 'long' range attacks can be outranged by bad guys' submachine guns and we should definitely be able to "Run 'n' Gun".

    Wolves and Vamps hung out in Bricks.
    Seeing a 30+ was like seeing a living God.
    There were no "Lead" Outcasts
    PI didnt exist
    TF's didnt work
    Smoke Grenades rocked
    Fire Imps were Uber
    AB sucked
    There was no lag
    Perez was scary
    Hamidon could be beaten easily

    And last but not least.....
    PL'ing wasn't rampant.
  5. I predict that, oh about....4 powers will be "addressed" and 2 AT's will be pissed. Don't know which ones, but It is a virtual certainty that a couple powers that we all feel are fine will be gimped by the Dev's because: "We feel that X power was making the game _________ and we had to address this power to make it fair to everyone".

    Insert any of the following:
    Unfair, Unbalanced, Easy, Hard, Difficult, Fun...........

    I wait for the day that 3 white minions will be able to send my Fire / Energy Blaster to the Hospital because my AoE's have been "addressed". grrr.

    Oh, and dont stealth nerf the enhancement drop rate at the high levels like you guys did with Issue #3. That was (is) maddening. BTW, that still hasn't been addressed.

    Oh and to the OP: The 12th...the 12th of Never. lol

  11. I think you are reading a little too far into my "Simple Mindedness". My argument is that no matter what the circumstances are, a Kheld will NEVER be better than the AT it is trying to emulate. That is all. I know about the difficulty of finding teammates and such.

    Again, I know that they have their uses. Im not denying that.

    So for the record...I dont want to seem like a Kheld basher, but like you said, they need some help.
  13. No, I understand the combi thing. Im just saying that If you need a tank: Get a tank and likewise for any of your specific AT needs.

    No one ever says: "I wish we had a Kheldian to tank Infernal"....see what im saying? I see that they have a place in the game for certain folks, I just believe that you should bring the right weapon to the right job and not settle for an AT that may be around 80% as good as the "Real Deal"

    That may be so, but there isn't a Kheldian alive who could take more damage than a good Invuln Tank or deal more damage than properly built Fire / * Blaster. The fact that a Kheld can do both shouldnt replace either of these 2 ATs. Kheldians lose their Nova / Dwarf forms so often at the 35+ levels that the abilty to tank or blast effectively is limited to wether or not you can hold form.....

    1.) Primary and Secondary power pools listed.
    2.) Fix the sortability glitch (thanks for bringing back joined date btw)
    3.) Longer MotD text capability
    4.) More ranks

    and finally.....

    5.) Some sort of robust Alliance feature. Im sure you're working on this.

    Your 3rd statement was right on. AoE is not really the issue, player use of AT combos is. Enemy AI is at the heart of the issue, not AoE damage.....Take away my AoE, and I am no better than a riot guard. After all, their "Sub-machine guns" have the range of my sniper rifle,ROFL!.

    Im an AR / Dev who , yes, does use his AoE attacks to great effect. All i can say to those who think AoE's need to be nerfed is this: Do you realize that 1 time in 10 we may come really close to dying? Plus the slow anim time on AR makes for some really sticky situations. Why change anything. Do I care that Regen scrappers or Invuln Tanks can take damage? NO. Do I care that Rad buffs make mobs into wusses? NO....that's thier jobs man. Leave em alone. My job is to blow stuff sky high with some carefully placed high explosive / projected fire! Take all that away from me and I become "Mr. Glass". Thanks a lot devs, but leave the powers alone, and fix existing "problems" that plague us everyday. Lag, Doors, meaningless travel, and a whole host of other real problems should be addressed first.

    Leave powers as they are, or improve them. Dont Nerf anything most have come to rely on. It amazes me how ppl care so much about another AT's build by saying it's "unfair" or "imbalanced" NONSENSE!

    Just do me a favour, find a way to kill the Lag Monster on Infinity. Lol
