Wow, where to start?

First off, cross dressing is not immoral. You can argue it deviates from social norms, but you can make that argument about 90% of the superhero costumes out there, and obviously they are permissible in the game.

There are compelling reasons to allow model changes in the game. Your character could:

<ul type="square">[*]be a Master of Disguise[*]be a Shapeshifter [*]be an Artificially Intelligent hologram which can take any form it pleases[*]have fallen into a cursed spring and be doomed to take the form of a girl whenever he is exposed to cold water[/list]
Or hell, your character just might be a cross-dresser... and there's nothing wrong with that.

As a fan of the source material, it's pretty ridiculous. Basically they throw in a Mad Science angle that explains the food rain. Then they just use images from the book as big set piece scenes.

That's a huge list, Viv... I need to examine it first, but I'm definitely seeing Transformers: The Suckage, G.I. Joe: The Abomination, and I want to see District 9, too... that looks cool. Oh, and Nine too... didn't see that on the list.

I don't think Team DC was that bad with splitting last night. I wasn't even dying that much, and I was -2 to -3 the whole night!

I will say this, though: the rumors of DC's team sniping skills have been greatly exaggerated.

Well, we definitely don't have the ability to change character model right now, and I agree that it is lame that they are making this a for pay addition. I was going to buy it anyway, but this is a large enough feature that it should be rolled into the normal costume creator.

It seems clear that this was supposed to happen on May 12th, 2009, and someone at the marketing site pushed the button about 12 hours early (I got mine on 4:53PM EST on 5/11).

All this, plus the fact that they were able to put up the website and trailer in a pretty timely manner makes me believe they were only off by a day.

I don't know why anyone would think i16 would be ROGUE. Issues are do not cost extra and have to be given to subscribers so the game is updated for all. Expansions are what you have to pay for if you want that additional content. So, issues are essential and expansions are optional, if I am not mistaken

The release of City of Villains (a retail expanshalone) coincided with Issue 6, so the assumption is that whenever Going Rogue comes out there will be a free issue released at the same time. The question is what will be included for free in the GR issue (I17, I guess ).

If you look at Issue 6, you can see that it didn't have a whole lot if you weren't buying the new box. New PvP zones, Gladiators in the arena, and some graphical/QoL improvementws, but that's about it.

While I regret that my idle comment may have started this subthread, I do have an overdeveloped sense of fair play. Hamster doesn't really need to defend himself here, because he was the one making the initial accusations. Not to mention the fact that he is all-powerful in Isos and can do what he wants and kick who he wants from the SG. I was on Team Ham this week, and he was loudly complaining about Voo in team chat, as well as the SG chat that everyone saw.

I think my analysis of the situation earlier in the thread was spot on (if I do say so myself), so let's put this to bed.

In closing, I would like to say that in Isos 7 everyone is required to play a Dark/* Defender, and Shadow Fall is a mandatory power pick that must be kept on at all times.

I'm all for customization, but using tintable Imps as the example is pretty weak, IMHO.

Let me break it down as best I can: on Wednesday, someone invited a late comer when they were at 7 and other teams were at 6. Normally, this bugs the hell out of Hamster, but he didn't seem to make a big deal out of it last night (until later on). Voodoo called Hamster on his lack of busting the team leader in question's chops (I honestly forget who it was... TW?) via /tells. Hamster construed this as Voodoo complaining about the incident, rather than about Hamster's lack of reaction to it. Hamster proceeded to [censored] about Voodoo all night, using Kong's /tell out of context, and posting alleged /tells that Voodoo had sent him. Since we have no records of the /tells between Voo and Ham, no one but them really knows what happened.

I cast my vote to make Voo stay in Isos, but I know it doesn't count for anything.

We did an All-Kheld ITF a while ago. There were a lot of issues with the final fight but we finally ranged Rommie to death. It took way too long because of Rommie aggro weirdness at the end.

Best part of that is Voo screaming about Shadow Fall... I need to make a Dark Defender for the next Isos!

EDIT: But yeah, it does seem that Hamster was full of [censored]. He misrepresented what you were complaining about Voo, which was not, in fact, team padding.

Whether I believe him or not is irrelevant to the drama. Clearly, he was upset by whatever it was he thought was going on.

Had a good run on Team Ham, made 3 levels.

If Ham could post we might get a rehash of the drama last night, but alas...
