    Obviously Darkness refers to the current Dark Miasma secondary for MMs and Energy is the current Energy Manipulation for Blasters. This isn't rocket science.

    We may get more new sets, but the only ones we know of so far are Demon Summoning and Dual Pistols.

    I highly doubt Praetorian characters will be defined by the new power sets. My initial theory was that you would roll a Hero or Villain as normal, and both sides have access to Praetoria. If you "fall" as a Hero, or are "redeemed" as a villain based on content in Prateoria, you will lose access to the opposite side. So, fallen Heroes will only be able to access Praetoria and the Rogue Isles, and redeemed Villains will only be able to access Praetoria and Paragon City.

    It's possible they will let us create characters of any AT in Praetoria, and then when the character has gone down the Good or Evil path they will get access to RI or PC. I'm not sure they will be doing that, however.

    It looks like a good patch, from what the notes seem to indicate. Mito farms are dead, and the MM temp power should now work for Barracuda SF.

    Double XP and AE

    I'm not even sure we'll get Double XP for the Dev's Choice arcs. With all the PLing issues in AE, it'd be simpler to just have only dev-created content be Double XP.

    There are two ski tracks in Pocket D during the annual Winter event. Some travel powers are much better than others (SJ + SS tend to trump everything, fly is too slow and tp doesn't really work because you need to pass through gates), so you can alt-spec your flying hero into one with SJ and get much better times on the ski tracks. There are Bronze, Gold, and Silver badges for each track based on run time.

    Not really. You could have a Solo build and a Team build (especially useful for 'trollers, Defenders, Corruptors), a normal build and a Raid build, an AV-bustin' build, a ski-build (mentioned above), a Knockback build vs. a DPS build. There are plenty of uses for this.

    There's also the "I'm out of free-specs but just realized I can squeeze Stamina in earlier" build.

    No, no, there is a very simple solution.
    1) The two characters in question must be the same level.
    2) Current XP is equalized to whichever character currently has less.

    That is a simple solution, but if the issue in question is a pact being broken because one member went inactive and the remaining partner gained a bunch of levels, it does not allow for the pact to be reinstated immediately. The inactive player would need to catch up first.

    I guess I don't understand how pacts work now. My assumption was that once in a pact you always had to be at the same level.

    Even if there is no insta-leveling, however, a lvl 5 pacted with a lvl 49 would get a huge bonus to XP, because getting all of the higher leveled players take would be a huge number for a lvl 5. I think this would be another PLing scenario, and regardless of whether you are in favor of PLing or not, the Devs clearly don't like it.

I don't imagine the devs will allow it, as it would involve the immediate balancing of levels, so in extremee cases a player who just came back to the game could pact with a friend and gain from 1 to 20 levels without doing anything.
