    Yup... they "ran out" of an intangible item, which is to say they sold as many as they could afford, and shut down the deal prior to the previously established end date.

    If I had a Lifetime sub to CO, I would have been playing it and therefore not had the time for Isos. Since I didn't make it in time, it's On like Donkey Kong.

    As far as weekly threads go, we voted on it and One Big Thread™ won out. We can do a revote if you want. Since it's unclear whether Voo will be joining us, maybe the OBT option won't get as much support.

    This. The devs disallowed this combination because of Extreme Clipping, I believe. It's a bit much to ask for them to allow it because you were able to preserve the look by never changing your costume.

  12. Team Cheater went well last night. I think everyone made a lvl except for Chum and Masque, which is a good thing.

    I had to go AFK suddenly and I handed the star to Toril and the team ran the VanGrun arc.

    There was some confusion at the end of the night.
  13. No question buffs and debuffs are over-powered. Castle said as much himself, and said if he could he completely rework the system. But at this point, it would have a major impact on expected gameplay that would totally enrage the playerbase.

    Seriously, the only reason they could get away with that crap for PvP is PvPers represented a small portion of the population. The devs reasoned that they'd rather lose the current PvP players and possibly get PvEers to play in a more "balanced" PvP environment then cater to the existing PvP base.

    You don't really need more levels if they give us some way to become more powerful at lvl 50. There are rumors of 10 "Universal Enhancement" slots you can earn that you can add to any power (giving you 7 slots, for example). Finally, the shame of ED can be removed!

    That's the rumor, anyway.

    Each power has Ranks that you have to take in order, but then there are buffs on the side, but each power has their own set. For example, I chose a perk for my Two-gun Mojo power that lets me do more damage the closer I am to the target. For the Might (Super strength) endurance-builder there was a perk to do more damage to stunned enemies, etc. You get the idea.

    New stuff... 5 total zones. The Millennium City Zone is supposed to be huge, but still...

    Right now, CoX is definitely the better game. CO has the novelty going for it, and some really cool travel powers, but that's about it... I think I16 will probably do power customization better as well, which is sad.

    I'm on the fence about going Lifetime with the game currently, but I'm playing the Open Beta as much as possible to see if I can play it over the long haul.

    I agree, GP. I think you will get XP appropriate to your level, meaning: If you're a lvl 40 exemped down to 20, and you defeat a lvl 21 mob, you will get the same XP you would as if you defeated a lvl 41 un-exemped. If they don't do this, it will discourage people from teaming with characters lower than your own.

    Since possession of alien weaponry is illegal, actually using the suit would have brought down the wrath of the MNU as well as other military forces. We saw that despite the advanced technology of the suit, it is not invulnerable to conventional weaponry.

    Better to give the weapon to someone you know can't use it, but will give you large quantities of narcotics in exchange.
