This is the case for all characters, not just those who switch sides. Villains who become Heroes are no worse off than Heroes who started that way. For this reason, I don't see them making a change, but for solo QoL reasons it would be a nice addition.

I'm all questioned out after the last Q&A. Soon enough, we'll be in Open Beta for GR and then All Will Be Revealed.

Mental Giant is ready to go, I just need to change the color of all my bubbles to pink to match the Psy Powers.
I did some tests this morning and with PFF + Dispersion up I can laugh at Pylons. No embarrassing between-mish death for me! -

So now that we have a date for GR, are we going to take a hiatus once we hit 50? It's not going to take eight weeks to get there...
-
Quote:In the Formspring Q&A, Posi said "a week per notch", so a week to go from Hero to Vigilante, and another week to go from Vigilante to Villain. It would take two weeks to switch back to Hero if that's what you wanted to do.This a thousand times over. I know I will certainly be rolling all new toons in the gray area so I can run with any team anywhere (<3), but as far as my old characters are concerned, I have a LOT of work to do. Do we have any more information anywhere about the specifics of switching sides, more than just "it'll take a long time?"
If you wanted to get all your toons to the middle of the road, it would only take a week per toon. Obviously, you'd be able to do that simultaneously, if you were willing to put in the hours on morality arcs. -
It sounds like you guys need Mental to put it over the top. Count me in!

Quote:So what, in a few months then?? Really? Do you both have the exact list of missions and TFs we're getting with Going Rogue? Do the developers know you're pre-releasing their info? Mental, when you can actually show me the list of missions and it's only Praetoria 1-20 and the morality arcs, then you and she were right.
It doesn't take mysterious secret knowledge to know what's up, GP. WW did say there was more content in Going Rogue than just morality arcs, 1-20 Praetoria stuff, and the Incarnate stuff, but we all know it's not going to be lvl 21 - 50 (or even 40!) Praetorian content. -
Having GG convince me of anything wasn't my proudest moment, but it turns out she was right this time.

Quote:In all honesty, I don't even understand what you mean by this.I'm not really sure what to expect and I don't want to expect too much to keep my hopes from getting up, but I refuse to join you and the rest of the "make my arguments with winkies crowd.".
I, and many others, were hoping for an expansion that gave a full 1-50 experience in totally new zones. I would have been happy with 1-40, since that's how content has been rolled out in the past.
We're not getting that, and I've come to accept that. Lots of people haven't even come to that realization, and I think it's better for the game to manage expectations than build peoples' hopes up. -

Ah, GP, your boundless optimism is refreshing!
Hundreds of new missions? Well, I'm sure the 1-20 content in Praetoria covers most of that, and the rest is comprised of however the Morality arcs work. Still no evidence that we'll get anything beyond 1-20 content for Praetoria. -
That sucks, KT... I'm a little shocked they tried to push the dental implants on you. Here's hoping you'll feel better soon!

Anyone going to make the trek to NYC for the Dev Meet N' Greet at the New York City Comic Con in October?

Five years ago, a crack villain group was sent to prison by a Paragon City court for a crime they didn't commit. These men and women promptly escaped from the Zig to the Rogue Isles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The Isolators.

I wouldn't pay for more costume slots. 5 slots + saving any costume to a text file for easy restore gives us practically infinite slots.
Still, many people would pay, so Paragon should offer it as an option.
