Rolled up my KM/Nin Stalker and she's waiting in Nova.

Eh, sometimes people deserve a shotgun to the kneecaps.

Check it out!
Remember folks... you heard it here first! MG, with the scoop yet again! First mention on Victory! w00t! -
I didn't know that was proscribed speech.

Quote:From the context of the OP, I understood the "anemic state" as referring to the development of the game, not the perceived population. It's anemic in the sense that a huge portion of the playerbase qualified to be invited to the closed beta testing of GR, and once invited, we flocked to the test server to try out the new stuff as soon as possible. As a result we weren't on the live servers which gave the illusion that the population had dropped significantly.

Quote:It was Voo, wasn't it?Going with the others and saying you are not alone in this feeling. Early on I tried it in this game and in other games. Always negative experiences, especially the one time I got screamed at by this one guy for using a power at the wrong time in a mission. We still finished it and no one died and it was no big deal, but he wouldn't stop the complaining.
Vent is only as good or bad as the people on it. In other games I've played I've seen a large amount of completely inane conversation, but on a small multi-player game (L4D for example) it can be useful and fun.
For CoX I much prefer chat. -

Quote:In the euphoria of Voodoo being proven wrong, I almost missed this.
- Buy one. Go to the A-Merit Vendor in the Alignment Club and trade in 20,000,000 INF + 50 Reward Merits and buy one A-Merit. You can only do this once per day.
So for 20Minf and 50 merits, I can get a merit that allows me to pick *any* non-purple recipe? I think this will definitely have a impact on the most useful recipe process. I don't see people shelling out 100Minf for a Numina's after this. -

CoP is an I18 Freebie... which makes sense, because it was originally in a free issue.

If you want the One Thread Description Of Everything check out Zombie Man's insane info-dump on the public GR Forum. As of this post he's not even done yet!

For the record, I think moving the Alpha Slot (Incarnate stuff) to I19 was a good idea. From what I could tell, the system for creating Alpha Enhancements was a horrific grind of TFs/SFs/Trials/Hami-raids. You could unlock it solo by spending merits and whatnot, but still... there was no "content" there... just play the regular stuff and you would eventually have enough to get it.

The letters N, D, and A were not used in succession, but it sounds like TheOcho gave us permission to fire at will.
So, what do you want to know, GP?
Sorry they took the Gandalf power set out early in the Closed Beta. It was pretty awesome... the Tier 9 primary was called "You Shall Not Pass!"Oh, and the Shadowfax travel power was EPIC!

So who won? Voodoo?

If I had seen this in time I would have voted for The Prisoner as well. The fact that it was so close is a travesty. I blame Public Education!

Quote:You're mischaracterizing my statement. Ham is worried about people being left behind because we're starting in Praetoria. My point is that we'll get through the area so quickly that's a moot point. The primary reason for starting in Praetoria is the accessibility of any non-Epic AT, and the new groups/mission-types/maps in Praetoria. You first ask how fast the group will GET THROUGH the experience, and then say it'd be a shame to skip it with Isolators......
Obviously to deeply explore the new beginning game it's best to solo or do it in small groups. People in Isos won't be prevented from doing this by playing together once a week.
Quote:And let's face it, Tonto set the bar for "cheating" way back when, and no one has ever come close to that abhorrent travesty.
