I forgot about Halloween.
I did quit for almost a week, though. -

If you're implying that the auras will be restricted to characters with the appropriate origin, I'm reasonably certain that won't be the case. If it is, the devs are making a tremendous mistake.

Dammit... this looks cooler than the lame emotes pack. I assume it will hit before I19, so I actually won't be buying it opening day. Ha! Take that, NCSoft!

Quote:Point taken, but they could be A) Trying to prevent a great Chronoclysm by "any means necessary" or B) This could be a dead time-line that will cease to exist once they leave, so who cares if you get the nuclear age going a hundred years early, or C) ANGELS! (who also time travel for some reason). The episode clinched it that it wasn't time travelers... Time travelers would not want to mess with time which Thomas does.
Also, it's pretty clear that Thomas cracked under the pressure of leadership early on, so we can't take his actions as representative of the motive of Sophia's people. -
I think I need to re-up so I can buy DC and make him run Snaptooth missions for four hours.
-
Based on some comments from Thomas about not being able to "get back" with our technology, I'm even more convinced they're time travelers.
As far as the warm dress, not only was it appropriate for the weather, but also the time period. These guys are definitely from the future.
Thomas also made a comment about everyone dying anyway. I assume he wasn't being philosophical but meant some imminent disaster. -
I just heard about this stuff with BAB, and I found it pretty discouraging.
That, and the fact that Fallout comes out next Tuesday are reason enough for me to take a break from the game. I'll be back when I19 hits. -
If I'm not completely disqualified, I have an idea:
The Ghost and the Darkness -
Name one Voodoo and the other Hamster.
EDIT: Oh crap, I really need to read all the rules first! -

Voo: I finally logged in and saw your comment. Ham is wrong... it's going to be Issue 23.

Quote:Invalid assumption. What if there is a Higher Power (or Powers) who exist and directly intervene in human affairs, but hate when people pray to the non-existent gods of humanity? In this case prayer could easily make things much, much worse.
As I said, no harm. If there isn't a God or higher power, the others are just wasting their time and the results will be what will be. However if asking for help from a higher power or getting a flood of "positive waves" from the collective Gestalt consciousness of man wishing him well may have an effect, why not take it? What's the worst that could happen? It's not like they were asking Kurt to stop medical treatment. It's not like any were blaming his Dad's condition on Kurt's sexuality or Atheism.
I'm just happy Kurt didn't come to Cheesus at the end of the episode, but I agree with those who say it had a theist slant. -
Quote:I think they were taken out with a stasis ray. I expect them to be right as rain for people who were technically dead for a day or so.On the bright side, the action scenes were pretty well done, and seeing passengers wake-up in a morgue (while not entirely shocking) does raise some questions. Do you think they'll have altered DNA like the 97?
I think the snitch subplot illustrated that there are some defectors, even within the 97, and that loyalty to Sophia (and/or the group?) is placed above personal relationships in the group. -
My beef with this episode: why didn't Finn use his third Chessus wish to make Kurt's father better? I understand he's selfish, but damn.

I'm in work hell so probably no Mental tonight.

Holy crap... I just realized I became a Forum Cartel and I never commemorated it!
