Quote:If I knew, I'd be a millionaire. All of the "traditional" MMOs have the same high level end content. A few instances that you must do over and over for teh epic lewtz, and then once you have them all they release a content update that contains the New Better raids that have even better lewtz.So......what is in your silly little head that wouldn't be "grindy" for something like this?
CoX has the advantage of having a more flexible character system to start in terms of choices of powers and how you enhance them. I just wish the devs could come up with something better than the same ol', same ol'. -
What arc gives Incarnate salvage, GP? From what I can tell, it's the listed TF/SFs and V-merits for the G'rai Matter. Unless you're referring to shards which can drop from any lvl 50 or above mob. I don't know the rarity of that, but if I have to do 1,000 lvl 50 arcs, even if I do many different ones, that sounds like a grind to me.
I understand that the power level these boosts grant is so far outside the norm that the devs have to build in a time sink; I just wish it was more elegant, is all. Continuously running TFs/SFs/Trials is pretty much what people do with their 50s now, for inf and purple drops. They're just further incentivizing this activity.
I do like that we have two new Task Forces for those who have unlocked the Alpha Slot. -
Yeah, V-merits bring the cost of uncommons down to 24 shards... that's still crazy. Slotting out a Rare or Very Rare boost sounds like it will be an insane grind.

Quote:From what I've seen the number of shards required to build an uncommon boost is ridiculous. I can only imagine what Rare and Very Rare would require.I just saw another thread where GG was saying that it took 3 pieces of uncommon Incarnate salvage to create a common Boost, and 4 pieces of common Incarnate salvage to create a piece of uncommon Incarnate salvage... but I honestly don't remember the numbers that well from the second-hand reports I read 4 months ago.

From what I understood there were ways to get around the required TFs, possibly involving Incarnate shards?
-
Just taking a look at some of the Alpha Slot charts. So, as you go up the ladder, more of your global bonus is unaffected by ED... up to 1/2 and 2/3! That's crazy.
Now I'm wondering what the next nine Incarnate slots hold... -
My question is this: how can you let a guy like Merle live? Setting aside the fact that he's a racist jerk, he was wasting ammo, assaulted another member of the team, and tried to take over the group at gunpoint (to what end, we don't even know!). I get "we don't kill the Living", but this guy (and his brother, no doubt) are going to be nothing but trouble. At the very least, exile should be an option. Of course, then he would just work his way back to the group and kill everyone...

So, if Open Beta doesn't happen this week, then there won't be one. Unless they do an Open Beta weekend where almost none of the bugs found will make it into the 11/16 release.

I got the big DL last week. No idea what this means for the release of I19... we haven't even hit Open Beta yet, have we?

I have a steam account.
I will not be sharing it. -

Pencil me in... I'm not sure I'll be home by start time, but I'm willing to bring an MM.

I was wondering why the police station wasn't ransacked, either by locals looking for guns, or by Shane when he skipped town with Rick's family.

To be fair, he did hear that there was a refugee camp with good protection in the city, but still:
1.) Big city, lots of people, ergo, lots of walkers
2.) The highway was another clue
3.) No radio contact heading into the city
Avoiding the city is a no-brainer.
This is a promising start. -

I don't care if we go F2P or not, but I would like a Lifetime subscription option.
