I'll be bringing my Widow on Wednesday.
I will be on for the second Khan on Tuesday. -
Did anyone else get ridiculously slow speeds pulling the patch (100K/sec)? I'm wondering if it has to do with the downtime.
-
So IN for Friday night's STF... bringing my Pistolero that Voo loves so much!
-
The WTF should be posted in-game somewhere. At the very least on a MOTD or something.
-
That was the smoothest LRSF I've seen outside of a Mind Dom Sleep fest. Bubbles, buffs, debuffs, heals, DPS... we were firing on all cylinders. Great job!
-
I don't think so, but you will get an honest promise that I will try to do better in the future.
-
Dammit, Voo... why can't this be an STF?!
IN with something for Favor/Shards/Component. -
Quote:Who says you have to rush? You can turn off XP if you want!Greatest force for good? Really? They're nice and all, but I don't think they're all that great. Nice to see people wanting to play and all the events it encourages, but it isn't really needed that much anymore and, well, rushing through stuff just ain't my cup of tea.
Double XP weekend lets casual players make progress on abandoned toons, Soloists get to advance at a quicker pace without sullying themselves with human contact, team players have many more opportunities to team, hardcore players can PL and grind inf to their heart's content, and curmudgeons get something to complain about!
EVERYBODY WINS! -
I'm out for the next run. I'll hit 50 this week.
-
Quote:Double XP Weekend is the greatest force for good the world has ever known. A few n00b TF runs are a small price to pay.I am begining to really dislike double xp weekends, I think that 2.5 hour LGTF killed it for me on Friday morning. I had a few tfs where the people on it were unslotted or "my enhancements just turned red" and then they felt they best served the group by following behind and not really doing much.
-
Well, Double XP weekend is over (or almost over), and only one question remains: How many levels/inf/prestige did you get?
Blaster 45->50
Defender 35->41
Corruptor 29-35 (And went from Villain to Hero) -

Quote:As Xaphan pointed out, the advantage is being able to team with anyone on either side.Really, this is driving me insane. Is there something I'm missing? Is there some saving grace to the "grey" alignments, because from first impressions they are garbage for anything other than concept, and incredibly disadvantaged when compared to the pure alignments.
Before Alignment Merits, there was no compelling reason for anyone to stay Blue or Red. Since one of the design goals was to offer a reward for characters who "stayed true" to one side or the other, AMs were introduced.
It sounds like, for you, there is no compelling reason to stay "gray". -
Aside from Ham's Dr. Q and GP's Praetoria run, we haven't heard much about peoples' DXP plans.
I do like how the Official Email from NCSoft prominently featured the ITF, because that will certainly be worn out this weekend!
Until I get official confirmation that it's a "Double Shard Weekend" I plan on focusing my efforts on two Defenders in their 30s, a lvl 40 Blaster, and a lvl 28 Corr who I'm bringing to Blue side. Need to get more toons to 50! -
Quote:People will always complain about empty zones. The Devs should probably direct players to the team window sooner (and how about an "Auto Invite Me To A Team" button?)Man, now people are going to be complaining even more that CoX is dead, since tons of people will be using the auction house from the far end of Crey's Folly. *sighs* I can hear the weeping and certainty now.
Personally, I find /auctionhouse a good first step. Then I just need /train, /craft, /tailor and /gotomission and I'm all set! My goal is to go from lvl 1 to full slotted out 50 while remaining physically in the tutorial. -
So has everyone had time to review my All Cat-girl Stalker proposal for Isos 10?
-
The lesson of this thread is "I need to team with Sam more often!".

Bringing my Widow. Penny, bring your Bane! I don't like my Defense dipping below 125%.

My Ice/Cold Corr is commoned out now... let's do this.
