  1. Three main ones... none very high. (I just don't get "into" MMs as much for some reason.)

Kizimwi - ninja/TA. Made close on the heels of COV's release, now all of.. level 5. *rolls eyes*

    Project VISTA. Bots/FF.

And one I threw together, looks-wise, when I7 was in beta and decided to run with... Lady 302. Number and color scheme inspired by a Mustang.
  2. Here's an old newspaper photo of Feliney Assault...

(I was bored and screwed around with it. *shrug*)
  3. Did something slightly different with my binds - I do swap trays as usual (using 1=nova, 2=human, 3=dwarf,) and I use shift+click as a teleport....

Which, of course, is slightly more difficult with a 'shade, as we have two different names for Teleport, depending on if you're in human or dwarf form.

    My binds:
    wsbinds.txt
    [ QUOTE ]

    NUMPAD1 "powexectoggleon Dark Nova$$goto_tray 7"
    NUMPAD2 "powexectoggleoff Dark Nova$$goto_tray 8$$powexectoggleoff Black Dwarf$$bind_load_file c:\binds\wshumantp.txt"
    NUMPAD3 "powexectoggleon Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 9$$bind_load_file c:\binds\bdwarftp.txt"

    [/ QUOTE ]

For setting up Human form with Shadow Step:
    wshumantp.txt
    [ QUOTE ]

    lshift+click "powexec_name Shadow Step"

    [/ QUOTE ]

    And dwarf:
    bdwarftp.txt
    [ QUOTE ]

    lshift+click "powexec_name Black Dwarf Step"

    [/ QUOTE ]

I used to have Shadow Cloak loaded with human form, too, but dropped that - I mire in dwarf first, then human, then TP up, swap to Nova, and start blasting... I want as many double-mired blasts as I can, and that second or two of loading the cloak, well... I could be creating carnage.

And yeah, I know, the other binds do the same in their own way - I tend to want to keep the lines simpler so I can see what's going on without them getting too long.

Would you rather see batman eating a dounut, or crouching in the shadows ready to pounce?

I'd rather see Batman eating a donut.

    okay.

That is now one of my favourite drawings.... Just made my day.
  5. Had to check again to make sure I saw it.

    Title:
    Shinigami's Angle.

    *cough*
  6. If you don't mind a late entry, this might be interesting... Regina Arctus
Main thing to note about her is, yes, she's blind from the chemicals that revived her. (saw the face, the character insisted on being made.)

I really like that one. Alot. What mission is this?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Eden trial, yep - flying instead of jumping down the pits.
  8. Well, since everyone else is sharing, here's Feliney Assault having a disagreement with a - pretty sure it was a Consigliere.
  9. Y'know what...

    Here. Pick one.

I've gotten to start making multiple views of characters... I'll just throw that out for anyone who wants to sketch or whatnot. Most list who/what they are.

Well, to be fair, the monkey badge is easy now with the lower limit, by hunting a few hours with a full team in Crey's Folly.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Still, Crey's Folley is a hazard zone and, if you go in and try to get it at the assigned level, you will get debt just like in PvP.

So the question becomes is it unfair to villains that they have to get a badge that can be easily obtained by a level 15 villain simply by farming a mission with a team of 8 with only 1 reset at most as compared to heroes needing to kill 1000 monkeys in a hazard zone that they can't enter until level 30+?

If anything, I think this badge is out of balance for heroes. Killing 1000 monkeys is not fun and can easily take you all day. Doing one mission twice to get Man in Black is a walk in the park and you get the accolade by level 40.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I've seen this mission *once,* villain side.

For the monkeys - *how* many Rikti missions are there with it? (or for another accolade, Paragon Protectors?) You can go to Cf. You can go to FF. You don't have a choice of *a* mission ... or the PVP zone.

THe point is, on the hero side, there's no "you missed a mission you could farm, now you must go into a PVP zone or beg for that mission, like it or not." There are other options of getting those same mobs.

And yes, you can get debt in the PVE zones - but you can also control the situation much better than you can in the PVP zones.
  11. [ QUOTE ]

By the way, does anyone think I'm being selfish in thinking all this accuracy testing deserves a badge?

    [/ QUOTE ]

They tried to award it to you, but missed.
  12. [ QUOTE ]
I dunno maybe they werent so great ,but the point is all these ppl saying they were getting owned as soon as they stepped out of the base are way off.I didnt always win against multiple attackers obviously, but there were quite a few times i did. Also I managed to hold a pillbox solo against three different attacks from a team of heroes the AT's i am unsure of but they finally got me on the fourth try.

    [/ QUOTE ]

OK... that first sentence seems to have nothing to do with the rest of what you were saying.

    [ QUOTE ]
I dunno maybe they werent so great ,but the point is all these ppl saying they were getting owned as soon as they stepped out of the base are way off.

    [/ QUOTE ]

... at least to me sounds like coming out of *their* base, where the rest of the statement sounds like you're referring to pillboxes.

And yes, it did happen coming out of the base. Come up, head to Heavy platform, get hit by EM stalker, get stunned, lose toggles, get killed, go back with 1HP/1END and now... no rest.

Funny thing is, I still sort of accomplished what I was trying to do - protect the - think it was a troller - there from stalkers, as they managed to get away. Just not the way I intended.
  13. [ QUOTE ]

-"Squishies" being unplayable/useless/killed within 2 seconds of the start of fights.

-Constant "Jousting" by Melee chars who take off over HALF your HP's AND mez you in the same hit.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Toggle drop reduction - good. Until you realize the stun... drops them all anyway. If someone wasn't testing elec, they were an EM brute or stalker, it seemed.

EM's almost-constant stun is rediculous (and yes, I slot for it on live.) It makes the toggle drop "fix" pointless.... much like the 1HP/1END Rez makes the PVP timer pretty pointless.

    [ QUOTE ]

-ALL Longbow having Mezzes = Extra squishy Debt and lots of it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Not all, I think I saw three Flamethrowers.... Slightly more seriously, no, there was a good mix of wardens, including emp and force field, which my squishy heroes used when they could.

That said... *both* sides are a little ridiculous with all the mezzing/psi/etc. from NPCs. Jump past, have a hold catch up to me from an NPC, stand there dazed in the mixxle of a parking lot so a stalker or brute gets a free kill = not fun at all.

I'm sorry but if the lowsey heals in the hospital is the way it's supposted to be in Recluse's Victory, I have to say I'm dissapointed. Any where else we get full heals. Except of course in bases where they only have the basic medical teleporter untill Sg earns the prestige & badge to build the improvements. I feel very strongly that Recluse's Victory should be the same as any other Standard hospital Teleport. If the developers are planning to make all hospitals like the ones in R.V. I'll be more then dissapointed. Debt is the most penalty we should get from death & having to go to hospital.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually I kind of like it for the pvp zones. So if you defeat someone they're actually out of the fight for 20s while they use Rest instead of hitting the hospital and being right back in the fight almost instantly.

    [/ QUOTE ]

... which also makes the timer, um... pointless.

If that gets changed in other zones, I'm not going to bother any more, since your choice will be "run with 1 HP and find a place to hide and heal" (having someone follow you,) "Find an empath" or "run out of base, get killed, then stand in the base while your natural regen rate slowly heals you."
  15. [ QUOTE ]

If your going to make a crybaby rant try to be unbiased.
How about this! All the Psychic Spiders... EVERYWHERE, constantly attacking people, through stealth, through invisiblity etc. Don't cry about longbow I played both sides, trust me the damn spiders are way WAY more annoying.

    [/ QUOTE ]

*nods* Absolutely. And while the spiders may "help" by attacking/holding/etc, Longbow also heals, provides FFs and the like... like I mentioned, I'd run out of base and find one to follow 'til my health got near full. Finding a "patrol" of an empath and a force fielder was heaven...
  16. [ QUOTE ]
After trying all the "Fragile" ATs during this event I must admit that melees with mez seems to be unfair. On both sides. As a Fragile with a huge glowing target on your back constantly being hunted you shouldn't have to worry about being mez'ed with every 3rd shot from a FoTM melee as well.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Absolutely. Tried a couple Defenders, Controllers, and a Dom.

My kin/dark (which was really a "do I want to continue a live character" test for me as well) did decently - IF she was always hidden. Though Siphons and Transfusions didn't go off very often - partially from the lag (expected, given the event) and partially from armors...

    Everything else?

I've gotten mezzed. I'll go make some coffee... Oh, it hasn't worn off yet? I'll go grind beans for more coffee... Look, I'm dead!

The zone *itself* is rediculously mez heavy with the NPCs - and I don't mean the AVs. Any stealth, forget it, get mezzed anyway. The PVE game got annoying for my Blaster with that - made the run to 50 turn into a grind ("I'll get you, mezmerist/sapper/etc... if I ever wake up... ") - and that's without opportunistic Brutes and Stalkers. Or Doms, for that matter.

I *still* say the 1hp/1end thing is just silly. Why bother with the PVP timer then? By the time you're done resting, even with Health and Stamina, and at the port out... the timer's done with. I ended up running out with only a few HP and finding an obscure corner somewhere, hoping nobody'd find me while I rested, or following the emp Wardens around.

Tactic du Jour - Annoy someone, run off and hide in the pillbox's FF. Very popular with MMs, especially, from what I saw.

And - I /bugged this, yes, but didn't see if this got fixed yet - before, I got held/phased by a Drone that moved as I was leaving. I stayed mezzed and phased for 5 minutes before logging - had people trying to CM me, AS me, hit me, anything... yes, it's an odd situation (I was expecting to die, think I got down to 1-2 HP) but ... it's a bit annoying.
  17. The side ports are nice, but still.

    Geez.

Rez with *half* health at least, or disable the timer. One of the two. Otherwise... rest for 30 seconds. :P
  18. *pounces War_Witch* Yay!

Er... I mean... *cough* *straightens up* /em praise.

(What can I say... War_Witch fanboy here.)
  19. I'm just happy Piracat made it into the back of issue 12....

Does this mean that villains can get isolator too, if thats the case, then heroes should get jail bird too.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Now we begin to see the continued shortsightedness of the Devs' handling of Isolator.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Wow, ye of little faith.

Isolator is marked as "Hero Only". Villains can kill the contaminated for 100 years, and never get the badge.

Only Heroes can get the badge.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Posi,

First, I would like to thank you for this opportunity to get this badge. However, I feel like those of us who have been loyal to the game, having created our main badge hunters well before I-2, are being punished. Why should this badge be so outrageously difficult to get.

    [/ QUOTE ]

.... as opposed to "No, you missed it, you cannot have it, period?"
  21. [ QUOTE ]
The blue/red slider that runs from 0 to 1000 seems to represent something called 'Temporal Points'. If you earn enough of them, you get a personal Heavy class pet, according to the information icon next to the zone name in the compass.

I've been able to determine that killing turrets gets you points, while being defeated loses them. Winning the whole zone also gets you points. When the zone reverts, your points reset.

This is going to be a very difficult pet to earn!

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm not quite sure. I could *swear* I activated a heavy with 0 points... and got 50 points afterward. Somehow I got 75 total after *that.*

A little more explanation would be good, yes.

    My two cents:
    - FUN zone. Yes, I need a villain levelled up enough to get in... but it's still fun.

    - The rezzing with 1 HP *has* to be a bug. It makes the 30 second timer pointless, otherwise. Of course, you can't (so far) sneak into the hearo base, at least, where the tubes are.

    - Um, drones... No, this isn't a drone death complaint. We chased some villains back to their base. Someone drew out a drone as it was announced the AVs were in. I was close enough to get *hit* by the drone... but I didn't die (I was jumping away when it shot.) I was fully expecting a drone death... nope.

I sat there, phased and held, for several minutes. Had someone try to CM me. Had a stalker try to AS me. Had a brute try to beat on me. Nada. That hold/phase needs a timer. (No, I didn't have any break frees at that point, I'd used them.) I was fully healed from the sliver of health it had knocked me down to... by my own regen rate (as an elec/elec blaster, not a /regen scrapper) and still held and phased. Either it has to do SC buiding explosion type damage, or it needs a timer....

And I did see a Brute with a pet now (an Arachnos blaster spider, I believe.)

    [/ QUOTE ]

brutes don't get access to their patron pets until 47, so i doubt this was the case. either someone found an amazing bug that allows you to level to 47 in a matter of hours (while the test server crashes repeatedly around you), or it's some kind of temp power from the zone.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Possibly a temp power, but it was an Arachnid with "owner" text underneath. I'll see if I got it in a screenshot or not. Might be something unique to the zone too. I was busy trying not to get killed at *just* that moment. and it didn't show up 'til the brute saw me near the anchor.
  23. It's crashing even without that. And I did see a Brute with a pet now (an Arachnos blaster spider, I believe.)

Screenies - for some reason they're getting horribly resized at the moment. I'll try to redo and reupload them.
  24. Um, it's test. It's not exactly a representational cross section of the COx population, nor is it as "durable" as a production server. And there were a good number of villains before the last LCTMS I had. We had a decent fight near one of the control points.

The whole "zone will always be under (hero) control" was said about Siren's Call too, and that proved to be untrue. Another month, with more villains getting into level for the zone? It's going to be a good fight. I can see this zone being *very* popular.
