Um, they're showing up on mine, last I looked. Make sure you have the Ts turned on, and haven't installed any map packs?
-
IMO, the most important change/fix would be (as someone already mentioned) declaring exactly when Astoria went dark, and making everything else fit.
-
Smurch said it better than I've been trying to.

Am I the only one who actually does Atlas (or Galaxy) and Mercy missions?

Quote:Conversely, I've never much cared for the aqua bubbles - now they're pure blue, to match my energy blasts and costume.I colored my Energy Blast a light bluish-green to match my Force Field primary Love the Energy now!
However, McNum's post about "rainbow" bubbles sounds intriguing - I may try that out. -
Crab pack only if you have crab powers in your PRESENTLY SELECTED build.

"Glory Days" is 25-30. Check it out when you get there. I think/hope you'll like it.

If you have the time, I'd appreciate your comments on either of the arcs in my signature. Both would be OMG super awesome.
I expect I will be playing Mercytown, having seen a good review of it on another thread. -
At its core, being mezzed is about losing control of your character for a while. You can see why some people might not like that, yes?

Spending twenty seconds of a forty second fight getting knocked on your behind and standing up again is not any more fun than being held for twenty consecutive seconds, though the former does at least give you a chance to use inspirations.

Every now and then I see a character with an "obvious" name and a low level. Sometimes I'll shoot them a tell, asking if it's a reroll of a placeholder or other old character. Quite often, it's not.

Quote:Refreshed and quoted just now.If I thought this particular comment you just made had any merit I'd just counter it by saying CoX = marketed as a casual friendly experience. Having to work != not casual friendly experience.
Edit: they have added elements to cater to people that want to put in more efforts: pvp, IO's, TF's. Teaming and finding copious amounts of people in an MMO should not be one of those aspects. I'll never agree otherwise.
Again, what is your definition of a "casual friendly experience" which does not require you to work? Door-sitting in a farm and watching the xp roll in without you having to lift a finger?
If what you expect is something akin to an online FPS like Team Fortress, where you're able to log on, pick a side and jump right into the action, I'm not sure that is a reasonable expectation for this sort of game.
Personally, I do not consider the effort required to find a team to be unreasonable or to qualify as "work." I'm not even on any of the team-seeking global channels that others have recommended. I have the advantage of a group of friends built up over the years, but when none of them are online or available, I'm usually able to find a team purely by using the in-game tools designed for that purpose (ie, the Team search function). As it stands, I frequently have to turn down team invites (on all my characters, not just Teh Heal0rz) because I'm busy with something else, not in a mood to team, or have to leave soon. -
I made my soldier with the full intention of going Crab at 24, but now I'm strongly considering just keeping him a Huntsman, in large part because of this guide. A worthy alternative and well-written too.

AE wasn't meant to let people hit 50 in a couple of days, either.

I wonder if this means they're actually going to update the Devs Choice list.

Ah, the old "hamster wheel."
Yup. And when they did put in badges (after fixing that glitch), they made sure to have one plaque reference and "explain" it.
Here's another for you - consider how many elements of the Captain's current costume were not available at launch. The goggles, the jacket... -
"We do not discuss it with outsiders."

Congratulations are definitely in order. And look at it this way - despite starting before I did, you held out at least twice as long!
(Love the space bug, too.) -

Quote:Nope.So... was I the only person who read this thread title and pictured Goliath as a tough guy in a suit and fedora, and figured the next like was going to be... 'It'd be a shame if something... unfortunate were to happen to it.'

While I've been trying to hold off on making any more characters until I get a few more across the finish line - seriously, I have two at 49, one that just made 50 this month and another couple in the mid 40s - I could no longer hold out against the lure of easy lowbie teaming that goes with all of my friends making new I16 alts. So, proving that I am once again behind the FotM curve, I went and finally rolled a Spider to go with my Widow, and spent most of yesterday getting him up to 12 and DOs.

Which brings us back to "oh, it's just the internet, it's just a game, why do you care if I'm lazy about my typing, grammar, etc." What that's really saying is that unlike a paper for school or other "serious" work, we don't matter enough for the poster to make that extra effort.
Here's the funny thing - as I've noted, for some people it actually takes more effort to deliberately type badly. Using proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc is easier than the opposite.
