Also the sword from Croatoa does not do Containment, i have it if you'd like a demo of that effect. It does do a double damage special to all Croatoan mobs. (Tuatha, Ghosts, Fir Bolg, Sally and Red Caps) which is certainly useful.

Easy, give Doms Electric Secondary Lightning Rod instead, then we're free to have voltaic sentinel in that list.

Also when thinking of a defence set, dont forget the chain breaker kicking in and causing you bother.

im not sure how the craftable temps work for containment.

but no reward temps ive used respond to containment.

If it helps I'm playing an Electric Melee/Ninja Stalker, low level still, but enjoyable, and should be good. so try that perhaps.

Avoid the electric primairy. Word from Beta was it was useless, and most people thought it would be too. Its a resistance based set with no self heal on a low HP character. Not worth the coding it took to bring it over.

Electric Melee on the other hand owns.

tho I agree Plant/Emp comes off looking quite good potentially too.

I think a Plant/Sonic would be possibly the most oblique and rare one to play.

Running stuff through Mid's last night both sets can come relatively close to a relatively cheap Perma-PA, its a little bit hairy, and /Storm can pull it off faster (so much so I have now rolled an Ill/Storm) put still, possible on bot with inexpensive slotting.

Personally, since you are SS, i'd respec out Swift for Health.

I find on my Empath that a quick burst of SS to get to someone i need to heal is much more efficient than hoping a can get there a little faster with swift.

Sure overall swift will make you get to missions faster, but its up to you if u want the juicy bonus or not

All the SGs i've been in accross various characters ive found simply by virtue of teaming with their members and liking the atmosphere of the team, so thats always another good way to go, many good SGs will probably have a few people at lower level stuff running round at any one time, for whatever reason, so theres a possibility.

Starting your own can be fun too, since you get creativef control over the base. Unfortunatly it can be tough work, as many players will expect to walk into a SG base fully equiped.

Not really guaranteed, you could easily walk away after a month with loosing 5% of that if nobody bids for it.

I joined Thundorn's Rage a few months ago now, and really enjoy it. We have a global channel in game, so we can all always chat regardless of what characters we are planning. As well as a usually very active TS server (possibly less so currently with people enjoying their summer atm)

Whilst we dont role play, atleast not as a whole SG, we do have a creative part to our forums to mesh our ideas of characters into a good decent backstory.

But more importantly, we have fun, we team alot, and we even recently competed in the Omega TF weekend thing (which is how I joined)

Sorry Miss Chief, but nobody is moaning...Ohm's comment, which could be construed as a "moan" is not, in context of the discussion, he's simply pointing out that it looks like Vigilance is, at times being worse than useless by providing a negative feed.

In this case you did nothing wrong, the Mind Troller was being a moron, AoE sleep far too situational in a team full of controllers, a nice set up for containment is all its worht, and even then he should have saved his endurance.

Fire Mastery seems the anicillary of choice, both for an immersion thing, and the fact that Fireball can do alot of damage with a good FulcyRum

theres a monitorable feed called "Endurance Discount" which shows overall affects on the endurance cost of your powers.

This should only ever show a positive value, i.e. our powers are cheaper, or a baseline of zero, since iirc nothing in game is capable of altering your overall endurance cost in a negative fashion

I refuse, to make a fire/kin, infact so far fire is the only primary troller I have yet to sample beyond level 15.

That will change on my Fire/Thermal, but they are last in line , and its a long line!

However you loose the bonus if you malefactor down below the level you picked Health, if thats where you slot it.

Dropping it in High Pain Threshold, picked at a low level will give the best level coverage. Alternatively, since the lowest SF MFs down to 20, Health should be fine.
