    We arnt trying to cause an argument, or act like we are the forum police, we just said we don't like the term, maybe saying we found it offensive and not explaining ourselves properly was a bit unfair. Mostly my dislike of it comes from being a fairly redundant and silly term, your free to use it, as I don't find any word or phrase fully offensive, unless of course the intent behind it is to be offensive, and I will admit it rolls of the tongue a bit easier than saying non-camp.

    Yeah travel is Ninja Run, I have no real issue with it, except for doing MOs it drops away, but thats no real issue as I don't mind just having sprint running around.

    Taking Challenge > Provoke was a mistake, not sure why I missclicked that, didn't even check ot make sure I'd selected the AoE one as I was sure I had

    HT is one of my most favourite Dark powers, so I was sad I couldnt slot it better, since Corruption could drop to 2 slots, since its not there for damage dealing, but res debuff and the hold procs failr yoften. That frees up some more to turn HT back into the offensive power it should be. and I think I will go for moving out those regen procs in favor of more slots in stamina.

    Much as though I love the animation for Crack Whip, I barely use it, and its not slotted for anything amazing at the moment, so that could easily go as far as I'm concerned Possibly letting me either take SS, giving me a real travel power, or another Leadership power.

    dropping slots from powers overslotted just for regen bonus let me boost up my recharge a bit, improve slotting on HT, and also add a slot to T.Grasp for some improved accuracy.
    Recharge isnt too much of a concern, and I'm quite content with where it sits now.

    what do ya reckon now?

    So after asking people's advice for what to aim for, I thought I would follow it...a bit. I'm really no good a using Mids to get 2 sets of bonuses going, so I went for smash/lethal, and once I hit that then aimed at regen/+HP, but I won't claim to have done my best.

    Mostly PvE basis, with the taunt thrown in for tankerminding, and, since I thought the BU pet proc would trigger more in the little boys, they got it.

    Let me know how I can improve it?

    Follow Defensive - Body Guard mode, has a few seconds whereby they are in limbo, unretaliatiing, and your damage isnt spashed around.

    Use Goto Defensive instead, this puts them in bodyguard mode as soon as you click where you want them to go, and they fight seemlessly, froma ggressive, though they will not always target the same enemy.

    and yeah, anything non-game support was axed from Brighton a while ago. One of the best community reps we had lost his job simply because he wasn't willing to move to a totally different continent.

    it doesnt matter where the bonus comes from (except when its global proc rather than a set bonus)

    so you can only have 5 lots of 10%, no matter where it comes from.

    Firstly, sorry to double post ><

    I think it is more of a case of feeling secure, and relatively safe. Sure naming your SG and being a part of it may draw flack, but there are alot of people who haven't had the best of experiences with other people in real life, and in game.

    Many major towns and cities have support groups for people dealing with having an LGBT sexuality, down to all levels of need, from full on counseling, to social situations where you can be yourself.

    Wanting that sort of thing in game is not that unusual, especially since the game doesn't require all alts to be in the same SG, nobody has to fully segregate themselves.

    Certainly wasn't trying to start an arguement with New Dawn, or anyone else >< sorry if it sounded like that, but as other people have mentioned. Its a fairly redundant term for people to use. If only there was some way to remove it from the english language!

    Though the benefit of threads like this, and SGs like this concept, is that it does go to show that without drawing attention to ourselves LGBTs really are just the same as everyone else in pretty much every way. I do find it odd that people let such a thing bother them.

    Hey guys,

    Just wondering since hving only played on MM to 50 before making my Demon/Dark (Bots/Pain) and not bothering to IO her out I find myself with a bit of a conundrum, I have no idea what to aim for.

    Other ATs the choice is fairly obvious, or if not, then it is a choice between 2, but for my MM, I can't see what to slot for, she's made a cool 250mil over her career, which was mostly luck with stuff she couldn't use, and even has a hetacombe to sell, so should net a bit more, givng me (imo) decent resources to trick her out with.

    Currently running her has a Demon/Dark/Soul mainly since I love Ghost Widow's hold animation, and my only development with IOs is the 2 resistance procs for pets, and hold procs in Petrifying Gaze, and Corruption.

    Not looking for you guys to pump a build out for me, but to point me in the right direction. She's PvE only, since I don't like PvP and don't want to sacrifice slots getting too much KB proection in. And will mainly be used for running High End TFs with little exemping in, aiming for MO badges where possible.

    I act like me, if acting like me happens to not involve embarassing myself prancing about, camping it up or mincing etc, I don't partiuarly want to be called straight acting, I still sleep with my partner, and thats not very straight acting!

    ALso looking at your comment on Pride Marching etc, think of it less like flashing our wares, which unfortunately it has become of late, and more about celebrating our past. 2006 (iirc) London Pride was a big celebration of the lives of those involved in the Stonewall Riots, imo the biggest shakeup in Gay Equality ever, and also the lives of others who have sacrificed their time/experience/lives (figuritevely and literally) to Equality. I actually had a stall there for an oprganisation I worked with at the time, and felt very proud, not just of myself and sexuality, but also of everybody there and the other organisations we were next to.

    Yeah it has become a bit showy, a bit camp, and a bit too much flesh on show, and that is why, without having any commitment to go, I avoid it, but the spirit is still there, people are allowed to hold rallys in streets to remember and celebrate war veterans, and thats why pride exists.

    EDIT: On the subject of LGBT SGs, I wouldn't join, all the SGs I have joined and made friends with have been sharing a common enjoyment from this game, I wouldn't want to limit my experience of this game and the people I meet by joining an SG with people who loosely share a similar sexuality.

    its an accessability to the game thing, not a problem with automation.

    You'd still be there inputing, granted, you could 'Automate' by being acros the room, calling out numbers for your farmer while you play on PS3 or something, but I think generally it would be ok, especially since your doing it with the intentions of getting a new hero on his way.

    But I hate Dragon, but then thats mostly how difficult NHS IT support people make to roll out roaming profiles....

    The toxic resist is just under 10% unenhanced on brutes. thats hardly awesome, certainly not a value I would aim for with any real desire. I know toxics a bit more common redisde, but 10% aint gonna help all that much, and the set doesnt have anything to add to that, so if I were to play /Energy, I wouldn't feel forced into taking that power for the toxic res.

    Fire Armor is going to be looked at possibly maybe, Castle said so.

    I think a tanker inherant change to work like new vigilance, which would buff them for solo, and be lost in group play would be acceptable, I do find them agonizingly slow, te only reason I have one up in the 40s is because I was able to run all the TFs with him.

    Theres also a fair bet that the players won't make that mistake again. If every person with the 'Passport' badge to their name had never been tempted to the EU servers, and those of us who have joined along the way hadnot been tempted by localised servers, we wouldn't have this issue.

    Also Servers appear on one list in America, but are hosted by different geographical location. If an account changeover/server list mergy doodar occured, theres nothing stopping them from still hosting the EU servers in Europe, over here somewhere still, for those concerned about lag, but then we would all have access to all the servers, and could play with our stateside borhters and sisters if we wanted to.

    In regards to increased lag if we played on US servers, I believe that, atleast to the UK-US, the infrastructure of the network is better than it is into mainland Europe.

    I personally wouldn't care / would be extremely ecstatic infact if they made an announcment today along the lines of "To our EU customers, on xx date your accounts will be deactivated for a period of one week, once they are reactivated, your client's will update to the global server list and will have access to all servers"

    I imagine many people would demand a compensation for that, but the server merge in my mind, would be recompense enough. I think the biggest stumbling block is Global Names, I know that I own the Mega Jamie global name on the US servers, as I had an account active there for a while, and not just that, but keeping global friends. I would feel sorry for those that lost global names sure, but i'm greedy enough for this change that ultimately, wouldn't care!


    Also, when the game bombed in Asia, did they all get free US accounts, or transfers?
