Theres still disparity between elemental control/blast/support sets and what occurs where.
Well I say dispairty, we need an Electric support set, as well as an Earth support set. -
Dark Armour does have a minimal FX option.
Or it did when I last made 2 characters using it a month or so ago/ -
Also experienced that too.
thought it was part of the "randomly logged out" bug. -
Quote:theres potential that wherever you saw it was redited and changed shortly thereafter as it was decided it was too early to be told.Hmm. Frustrating. Looking quickly, I couldn't find it... I know it was on a trailer, which made me think perhaps I saw t on the Origin pack trailer and confused the two, but neither video that's up now shows the date.
It's just annoying because I know I saw it somewhere, but I can imagine that people will thik that I am rumour-mongering or something. I know I saw it.I should have linked to it right away, but I figured everyone had already seen it as well, so there was no point.
Mind 9/11 is probably going to be the release date given the Rikti thing anyway. Our planet/dimension seems to get all the invasions... Zombies straight into Rikti straight into Praetorians.... -
It depends on the enemy.
It seems the power has been coded to provide the graphical effect of confusion (the purple cloud) even if the Magnititude of confuse protection has not been overcome.
So a low level dom may experience this against a few different lieutenant class critters in Praetoria, and a few in CoX content too, as well as Bosses/EBs/AVs Theres every appearance that the enemy is confused, and its annoying, it seems to le tyou know which was the anchor of your confuse. It got me killed alot in early use before I figured out what was happening.
However the enemies affected by the arc should only ever get the purple cloud if they have been sufficiently magged with confuse for it to take effect.
So... I can explain why the anchor attacked you, but not the other dude, unless you took his alpha just before the confuse kicked in. -
The soulbound Proc doesnt function like that at all. Atleast not in my experience.
My Demons MM has it slotted in the demonlings power and it will only proc on a single demon when it does. Thats not to say it wont proc on all 3 seperately at nearly the same time, but thats rarer. -
It should check to proc every 10 seconds in their leadership power. At 5% proc rate. Thats each enforcer getting a proc hit once every 200 seconds. You may get lucky and get them more frequently. You may get unlucky and see it alot less that.
I doubt that that equates to a perma 17% damage boost. And while the momentary additional tohit would be nice, again, i dont think it would be worth it, -
Jolting is definately a proc mule. I like the chance to hold proc in it, and I think it goes often, but how much you get out of it vs damage procs is up to you.
Static field should be 5 slotted with fortunata, since its soo cheap, and goes towards perma dom. the 6th slot can be yours for flavour, i've but 1 end mod in. But my elec/Ice dom make take a different route for that than my elec/earth. -

Quote:I just hate when I get shown something only to find out that is not what I am going to get. Think car commercials. They show this awesome vehicle with tons of extras for only $19K, only to have a disclaimer at the end telling you the price is not for the vehicle they showed you. It's dishonest.
Now if they had said something alone the lines of "Check out these clips from the new Task Forces in Issue 19" and showed that video, then I would be fine with it.
I Dunno where you live, but in the UK car commericals are all just CGI play throughs of something. One is cars playing hide and seek driving on 2 wheels. one is cars doing backflips and spins around eachother, one its playing space invaders which gas pumps, one its like a theme park pirate ship.
I don't know the last time I saw a sensible car advert, infact, im sure I wouldnt know one if I saw one. -

Quote:Have you played Demons? We are good with the sets we have now. Sonic being resistance only is epic phail out of the box. The sets that would have the most use out of the powers have the most fragile pets. So putting the -res toggle on say ninjas or zombies isnt such a great idea considering they die in so few hits even with the bubbles on them. The shield numbers on there own isnt going to be enough to keep the pets alive. You will need outside healing otherwise you will spend alot of time resummoning wasting more endurance.
Radiation and kinetics is even more epic phail since you can not give your pets any recharge bonuses anymore. That was gutted several issues ago. I am still mad at Castle for this because it pretty much gave me no reason to try any new sets on masterminds after they ported thermals. While the damage potential with rad and kin masterminds get worse numbers than defenders so the debuffs of radiation wont be as strong so pets get hit more. For kinetics it wont be possible to safely take advantage of fulcrum shift on huge spawns solo because the pets will die before you get to use the damage you just got. I just find it so retarded that the range pets get more resistance and or defense than the melee pets that die alot more. If they buffed ninjas and zombies I could see it working out a little bit better for sonic but your still gonna need a heal.
Very Melee based, and none of this dieing alot problem... Sonic Rad or Kin would all be so stupidly overpowered on Demons it wouldnt even be funny. I want... -
Also it has a chance per enemiy to give a small, enhanceable endurance gift to each person standing inside the static field.
Use if every spawn, in every possible situation. -
I see you point...but, hold in mind that we will be getting both TFs at the same time, sooo yeah it would have been nicer for them to save it for the tin mage tf video if they do that. but hey, it looks cool.
-
As you mentioned, you could get 4 in a day, doing both raids and both LRSF/STF
-
Also confuse is excelent on the STF.
Dr Aeon and his pesky super duper EB spawning power...
Well, pets spawned when confused spawn with a strong disliking for their owners face... -
Chance for Placate will Placate the enemies to the owner of the power that procd. Which means (and the first part is assumption, the second part fact) that if it works just like self heal proc, it will have a chance to placate enemies when you first lay it down which will placate them to you. and them subsequent procings will have a chance to placate them to the pseduo-pet.
So its fairly useless, just like the self heal, when placed in Static Field. -
Chains were fixed so as not to break when the proc fails, and to work with the proc.
so... Devastation chance to hold will work, and it works quite well for me in Jolting Chains. -
Quote:Aligment merits make the prospect easier. And i've been really lucky getting the HOs I needed from either Statesman runs or Hami raids recently. Its expensive, but i'm enjoying my elec/earth so much that im making him my first fully IO'd endeavor.Oh my, I can't even afford one piece of Kinetic Combat. I usually like to buy sets for my characters in their 40s because once they hit 50, I may not play them as much and Kinetic Combat is so freaking expensive!
But I can see how you reach S/L soft cap now. I don't think I am going to be that extreme. I have yet to obtain any HO piece.
I think I am just going for a resistance shield with ranged defense from Mako. That's a lot more affordable. Or maybe I'll get some touch of death later. -
As Ketch said, its the reasopn Kinetic Combat is so expensive a set.
5 slotted, plus Mace or Ice armour (no Earth yet) gives you an unenhanced smash/lethal of 31.5%
add in Weave and you up to 35.8%
and the steadfast proc gets you 38.8%
Now if you can afford Glads proc, your at 41%
or hey, just slot your Weave and Mace/Ice shield with 1 Lotg Defence/+global rech, and 1 Enzyme HO
and your at 47% Smash/Lethal.
On Elec/Earth, this is full achievable, with little loss of actual slot effectiveness. Except that you've just slotted brawl... and boxing/kick.
Oh well, get rid of the brawl slotting, throw anouther ensym in the mace/ice shield, your at 44.6%
And the combat jumping pushes you over, or hover, something you may consider as a set mule for LoTG.
So softcap becomes pretty trivial, thanks /Earth for so many single target melee attacks.
Perma Dom becomes then maybe a bit more of an expense, but then, we have a sleep and a confuse set, 2 of the cheapest purples out there on Elec/. -
As far as I know no,
Are you sure you were waiting enough time between agro generating actions for agro to drop and to re-stealth.
Are you sure you wernt getting splashed by AoE Damage?
Are you sure that you were not sitting in a quicksand or earthquake patch made by CoT mages. -
its a bit, hmmmmm as far as WAI goes.
since im personally undertaking the rather time consuming endeavour of saving up for a panacea, it would be nice ot know if i somehow managed to get one another way, I could spend my merits elsewhere. Something about taking 29.1 days to spend 35 merits seems a bit silly.
Of course this is hypothetical, as doing it any other way, since I dont PvP or play the market very well, isnt an option. -
/Earth is pretty Single target Heavy.
Elec/Earth/Cold Mastery gives you an AoE Debuff power, a ticking AoE damage power, Hibernate if you want it, a self heal/max HP if you want it, and a defense based shield.
E/E/Fire Gives you fireball and RoF and a res based shield, and i thnk a self rez and ST blast?
eitherway, I would (and did) look at adding to my Defence and survivability utility on my Elec/Earth, so I went Elec/Earth/Cold, and am very happy with what my final build will be, PermaDom and Softcapped smash/lethal defence. -
This is like looking for a freckle on the Mona Lisa. Theres already alot of immersion breaking for natural characters in the game. Maybe alot you've already reasoned around, and heres one more for you... too much hassle for too little gain.

Quote:Kurt is a villain? On Twitter and my Facebook page, I've been seeing a couple people complain that Atheism was the domain of the villains of the show and that it was portrayed inaccurately. Anyone else see it that way?
Actually overall I thought this was a pretty poor episode, probably because the religeous debate seemed entirely uneccesary for Glee, maybe just an excuse to use more faith driven songs.
Also they went for a few medical terms in the whole episode, and well, lets just say, its a shame their researchers messed it up...
