More proliferation.
Specifically Illusion Control for Dominators, thanks! -
Economy.
It seems sad to counter a point with one word, but there it is.
With storage for recipes, less would go on the market, probably, and it would be bad. -
Quote:But if nobody knew that you wern't the one to skip, then how can you feel pressured. I never pressed skip on my first go through a mission, regardless of how many others pressed to skip.see, i hated that option, because invariably i felt like everyone was sitting around staring at me because i dared what to know what the @#$%ing story was, i get enough pressure from work and family please, i dont need a bunch of speed-runner crack addicts poking me with sticks because i happen to like words.
And if everybody said "oh yeah I pressed skip" then you just say the same, whos to know? -
-
in Guild Wars during cutscenes players are given the option to vote to skip a cutscene, if all players vote to skip, then the cutscene is skipped.
This means people who like sitting and watching the same cutscene each time can.
And people who find some of them to be a tedium, can skip.
Of course you're never told who didn't vote, so no one cna play the blame game. -
I guess the argument is that your paying alot of endurance to run a power which MAY not suite your AT to be running.... saying that, you pay for that in how the modifiers affect them anyway, so thats a fairly rubbish argument, but thats the only defence I can think of for it...
-
im probably being blind... but what level did they come out as in the end?
-
While Smash/Lethal is the most commonly occuring damage types in the game and building defence towards them is a good move, because if an attack is 95% fire and only 5% smashing, but your smashing defence is higher than you fire defence it will use tht and could make the whole attack miss.
However if that same attack hit you with say 20% smashing resistance, then you would take all of the fire damage so already 95% of the whole attack, and reduce the smashing damage down to 4%. So you would take 99% of the damage of the attack...
ouch!
Giving people a chance to round themselves out how they see fit, especially with lacking resistanced in set bonuses, is a good idea. Consider that the invulnerability tanker can get smash/lethal up to the high numbers but may need energy/negative filled in a bit. -
Quote:And most non-control ATs get control in some form in their epics too.The idea is that they don't suck at what they're meant to do to the point of uselessness (like half of the pool powers), with the tradeoff of no additional effects.
I think there's no ranged attacks in power pools for a reason, though. Most ATs that don't get them in their powersets get them in Epic pools. -
Your shortcut for the test server should look something like this ...
"D:\Program Files\CoHTest\cohupdater.eu.exe" -test
Does it?
It sounds like you've tried to (accidentally) overwrite the live directory with the CoH Directory.
Did you make sure you followed the How To Access the Training Room post?

From what was posted,
It gives the impression as long as your account was active (regardless of whether or not you have a billing plan in place) during the whole time of the offer, you should be good to go.
So as long as you made your account early enough it shouldn't matter as long as your account is still playable the whole time, which it would be since when you cancel a payment method it still stays payable until it needs recrediting, which you did already with adding game time cards. -
Quote:From the few episodes of new transformers stuff I've seen, and the kids cartoons going round I have to say,What irritates me about this trend is that the producers/execs seem to think that what people want is only the visual style of anime, as if the whole attraction to that particular genre (for lack of a better word) is the way it looks and not the stories that are told.
I would atleast rather good artistic visuals inspired by (or directly using) a brilliant artistic style, and telling lackluster stories.
Since the new transformers stuff loosely draws on anime, but generally falls into the category many modern cartoons fall into of using less and less character detail, and they tell lackluster stories. -
I thought it was a +1 to combat level, which would have made it affect pets.

Quote:in a tight build, why waste slots on getting from A to B marginally faster.Obviously there's some debate and some number crunching involved(however small) to get it up to a full level in a tight build so I figured I'd ask. thanks much all.
In any build, why waste slots doing that marginally faster?
With ninja run I barely take travels any more, if im doing an MO, ill just hover there instead! -

All I read was "I didn't understand and got it wrong"?
A step towards tank mages made easier is a step in the wrong direciton. -
Any dominator...
Electric Control and Plant Control have buffs in them.
Many of the secondaries carry debuffs.
Since perma dom is not as necessary as it once was, you could aim for softcap defences instead. Or go a bit expensive and try for both. -
HOLY FREAKING AWESOMENESS VANGUARD COSTUME PIECES UNLOCKED THATS SOOOO AWESOME AS I CAN NEVER BE BOTHERED TO GET THEM BUT ALWAYS WANT THEM
*breath*
Yeah, thanks guys, this is cool! -
total Powerset proliferation,
anything that could be ported reasonably to get done, so that they can get on to making new stuff.
I desperately want Illusion on Doms, maybe it will under/over perform, but who cares, lots of things already do? -
Hes talking about the NCSoft Launcher program that Aion, Dungeon Runners Exteel etc all use.
Not just the normal updater. -
The badges he listed are all for completing PvE tasks while in a PvP zone. thats the ultimate issue here...

Since my PC foobar'd I use a KVM switch to use my PC's monitor with my laptop.
My laptop sits off to the side and it's native screen is set to be monitor 2, so it just displays a blank desktop, and i'll put any programs I want to keep an eye on over there *waves to the left somewhere*
leaving CoH free to play on my main screen, so it does tend to be a glance left to my mids builf situation, is very convenient, I will miss this set up when I build a new computer that im tempted to get a small second screen just for the same function.
One annoying factor is that if your monitor setups are side by side is that you can accidentally take your mouse out too far and end up focusing on the second monitor with 1 click. but that can be overcome by having the layout be difficult... but then the layout is difficult and it can be awkward to drag stuff over there.
It certainly doesn't require windowed mode, or any other setting fiddling than normally having 2 monitors while not playing a game. -
Quote:you have expectations for it :O?Bay, honestly...you suck.
Gimme that budget, some half decent actors, people like our own Ominous Voice and suchnot to score the thing...we'd have a movie worthy of being called Transformers.
Meh...will wait to see how #3 turns out. But im keeping expectations low.
