Maybe not to you it isnt. However I have been chosen for team specifically because of my damage.

Also, Ive tested it and I can out do an AVs regen without Lingering Rad. So, im thinking my damage, is completely respectable.

I dont have any videos of it sadly, as I just recently got my recording prgrams up and running. Though, I have solod Chimera, Marauder, Ghost Widow, and um... a few others that arent coming to my brain right now.

My defender is a Rad/Sonic.

Also, looks for some of SIlverados posts, he has a site full of images and videos of his GM/AV fights.

I'm only a lowly scrapper. Anything that requires more brain power than "Go. Hunt. Kil Everything." isn't going to have much lasting effect. We only do all of that math in the Scrapper forums because we can do math intuitively...

I've seen the amount of math you guys do over on this forum. You guys don't even get close to the stuff that we do on the Scrapper forums. :P No offense intended, it just doesn't really apply to Defenders, especially since the Defender forum is much more focused on tactics and build rather than actual numerical comparison of any substantial kind.

I can solo a pylon, I have a video of myself doing just that with the other one. What I mean was if I dont want to spend three hours working down the pylons, I would need a team.

So, AVs and GMs get boring, anyone else have anything interesting to Solo? Im considering trying to do the mothership alone (I would almost certainly fail, but I want to try soloing a +4 Magus). But I would at least need a team to rip apart the pylons.

Hank, the RWZ challenge involves fighting a +4 spawn of rikti with at least 3 bosses. No Insps, accolades or Temp powers allowed.

Also, I got the video up, albeit in this one I had to pop a few blues due to a mistake with EM Pulse at the start of the fight.

I also have part of my fight with a Pylon uploaded.

I can't be 100%, however im almost positive its been done before. However, instead of wasting alot of money on damage bonuses, I recomend stacking recharge to where AM and Hasten become permanent, then picking up Assault. Manaing that will get you +40% or so damage at all times on its own.

So, I finally got around to attempting the RWZ challenge with my Rad/Sonic defender (Native Faith, formerly known as Pristine before I decided I wanted the name elsewhere). First try was an utter failure, second I managed to finish in 9 minutes and some odd seconds.

I did make a video and will be posting a link in the next couple of days, I just need to get the file size down a bit.

Two quick questions though, I felt like I cheated by using hover ... thoughts on that? and second, Exactly how common is it for defenders? I never see it mentioned here.

Edit- So bad news, it appears as though the video clips is well over 2 gigs and has a thing for crashing any program that attempts to change that. So, I'll probably have to do it again to get a decent video for you folks.

I've done this quite a bit as well.

And Silver has pretty much nailed it. Hover or CJ are pretty important just so you can move well, and like he said they hold BotZ and an LotG so I would probably take hover even if I wasnt going to use it.

Attack chain wise, for GMs its Just Shriek --> Scream, but if im going up against AVs I prefer Shriek --> Scream --> Electric Fence. Simply to keep them from running on me and it holds them at range making my job even easier.

Then why does the server status page list it as down?

And for me it would definitly be soloing an 8 man spawn of romans on the third miss of he ITF by using Siren's Song and Mass Hypnosis repeatedly, just gave me this god like feeling.
