We had no travel powers, so I relied on the Disguise to get to the mission door safely, then TPd everybody else, but unfortunately a blaster didn't make it when he tried following me through. lol
-
But an easy workaround for this is to grab the mission at the appropriate lvl, then PL yourself up a few more levels. Everybody will be SK'd to your new level, and enter a mission full of greys anyway.

Great fun once again!
So we didn't get the Shared Victory Badge for being within 5 defeats, but it was a fun night! I love this arc and I ran it the other night on MB just for fun. It looks like we all pretty much got a full level of XP out of the arc, and we were able to scrounge up 2 more Ouro badges for having buffed enemies and no travel powers. It was rough getting from mission to mission, but the [Arachnos Disguise] helped greatly in the tunnels and I was able to TP the team to each mission. Of course, one or two tried to stealth it and died, but no worries. lol
Have a good night everybody, and see you for Moonfire (lvl 23-28+) next week!

Besides the NA/EU client differences, capslock is the only other thing that comes to mind as an obvious error.
You seem to have covered both, so we can only assume that he has an NA account, and actually did download the NA version, though it does sound very much like he has the EU version, so he might want to try again anyway. Since most of the files are identical between the clients, all he needs is a new updater file (send him yours) and point it to install into the same directory, and he shouldn't have to redownload anything... (though he may have to "verify files) and with any luck, he'll be able to sign in. -
Quote:That's exactly what I just said. There is no TF involved at all, and the info you just provided backs that up. The only TF in the zone is the Lady Grey Task Force, which has nothing at all to do with conducting a Raid of the Mothership, or getting the Exploration badge you are looking for. I was only trying to save you some trouble putting together the TF if that isn't what you were really trying to accomplish. The Unabashed Badge is located in the center of the Rikti ship in the Rikti War Zone. The badge marker only be found when the shields have been taken down by destroying all 18 Rikti Pylons during a Rikti Ship Raid.
Direct from wiki
Please only reply if you would have any interest in doing it.
As for the Raid itself, if you go to RWZ in the evening and advertise that you wish to conduct a Raid, or get in some of the Global channels and advertise there, you are almost sure to be able to get something started and have the Exploration badge that you are looking for. People run those all the time spur of the moment. I'd sign up and help you do it, but you didn't give a date or time as to when you want to do the Raid anyway. If you pass me/us your global maybe we can see what we can do for ya in-game.
On a side note, you are also using the old, outdated wiki site. The pages you should be looking at for current information about the game are located at paragonwiki.com (cohtitan.coh.com), not cityofheroes.wikia.com
They may look similar, and almost identical on some pages, but the site you are using is no longer officially updated and is not guaranteed to have current information if anything ever changes. Also, the old site you are using is overrun by advertisements and possible malware, which I believe is one of the reasons why we moved the hosting site to begin with. -
You don't need to do the TF to get the beacon. All you need to do is a Raid of the mothership by taking down the pylons, which will disable the Shield so you can get the last exploration badge that is located in the center of it.
Make sure you are in SG mode when you get this marker, then revisit any other Exploration markers in RWZ if necessary, and your SG will have it's Beacon unlocked. -

or
/windowresetall
and
Once you get all your windows set up the way you typically want them for most of your characters:
/wdwsave
then you can /wdwload on the rest of your characters, or any time something like this happens to your windows again. -
I just remembered that this is the arc that takes us into the Arachnos Dig Site. For those of you who might not know where the Ruin entrances are.. I made these helpful screenshots a while back for somebody in the Player Questions forum.

I have an SG called -Paragon Police-, and it's led by PPD Hardsuit, who happens to be an AR/Dev Blaster.. but he's also the only member and he doesn't really have much of a base. I only made the SG for the SG title under his name, but you're certainly welcome to join anyway. lol
He is coalitioned with my main group that has fully functional everything though. haha -
Quote:That's what I do anyway. Not because I can't solo, but just because it's quicker and easier. You can do the same for the mission that unlocks Peregrine's Store Contact as well.Thank you! I did find Agent Six and picked up her mish. My character is a defender and while I'm good at healing/buffing, I can't solo for squat, and there wasn't much "team action" that night (it was a Tuesday evening). I'll just drop the mish and go pick up some enhancements.
On a side note, here's a quick reference.. for your future reference.. to help you find specific store locations, organized by detailing type of enhancement, lvl, origin and zone:

Quote:I agree, but one quick comment.. Ouroboros.. though accessible from any zone through a portal, shouldn't necessarily have a double-arrow implying travel to and from those specific zones, right? And the Tiki room door swings both ways also. :PThe bar is to show it stops at all those zones. The thin line with the terminal arrow heads is to show that the line is not to be interpreted that that transport stops at each zone it crosses.
I don't want to get into symbolizing the manner of transports and connections; it's already too busy graphically for more graphical and, quite frankly, extraneous information.
j.k nice job. -
Quote:We are part of an unofficial group called The Freedom Horde. We've already run through EVERY Hero TF twice on Monday nights, and been starting through our third on different toons. If you have trouble getting that accolade, feel free to sign up for some of our TFs. We usually have more than 20 people show up for Monday nights and run about 3 teams. Thursday, we'll surely have at least 1 team.Possibly one of the worst TFs in the game. Good luck getting peeps. One of the main reasons I have the TFC accolade on one toon in 2 years.

Quote:Yes, those AVs are each in stand-alone missions in the arc we did last week. They also have their own missions on this last arc in the series, and the last mission features them all yet again, fighting each other.I think our team murdered these AV's last week.... MB?
Or was I drunk? I could have been drunk.... or maybe this is a different one... Not that I mind running them again or anything!
We can set some challenges again if you want to earn a couple extra badges. -
Thanks Lieran! It was crazy but fun. See you soon.

That was Awesome fun. My favorite part was when I happened to notice Niv following/watching me for a second, so I threw up a Protest sign. She immediately spawned a couple AVs on top of me and said "You can not PROTEST ME!!" I died of course. lol Good fun!
Thank you everybody! -
Quote:If you don't touch anything on your keyboard at all while in flight, any powers you have active aren't doing anything to your trajectory anyway, so you should still land in the right place, providing you gently entered the geyser from the correct direction. I love the shard and I frequently use both SJ and SS with no problem on the geysers using that method.Okay, listen and listen closely. I'm quite a vet of the Shadow Shard. If you turn off ALL powers and step into the geyser from the "trail" leading into it at the front as a previous poster mentioned.... and then don't touch ANYTHING... don't touch your keyboard at ALL.... the geyser will land you where you are "supposed" to land.
